Out of Mac's scumreads that he's ramming down the thread's throat like he's auditioning for the lead role in Paul Thomas Anderson's Boogie Nights, only 33% of them make sense to me. The rest seemed to be the easiest possible reads that'd allow him to accomplish his goal of blowing up the status quo. Whether this is at all beneficial to the town remains to be seen, and I'll attempt to find that out in some posts this evening/tomorrow afternoon. Anything I post in the Serenity thread, I'll repost here when Day 5 begins, provided I'm still living.

kinda like how the best way to engender productive civilian discussion is to forcibly keep your townreads off of the poll, even if a large number of people in the thread wish for them to at least be considered, because they're wrong, and you're right. that makes what you do okay.

I wish that 50% of these games didn't collapse into a supatown hall-of-mirrors circlejerk by the midway point. I've seen players I really admire, like, and respect drawn into this vortex, and while it may work for a game or two, the pattern of behavior is always damn toxic.

- have suspects
- listen to other opinions, and compare them with his own, possibly negatively, while still respecting their right to have a differing opinion

THINGS I THINK MAC SHOULDN'T DO
- go after Golden and DH for not agreeing with his suspects
- hound Golden (along with Epi) into giving up his ship
- screw over DH by running off with Serenity's money, and an item that the crew of Serenity pooled its' money in order for him to buy.
- do the above after repeatedly hounding DH for an entire phase about how he should give him more money
- do the above and then criticize captains for "playing the crew game" instead of hunting scum
- do the above and insist that "hunting scum" must align with Mac's view of the game, otherwise the captains need to GTFO
- do the above and respond to any criticism with a smug "WHAT, AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE SUSPECTS"
