Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 5]
I think I might need to re-read Epig. That post of his that LC pulled looks really different to me now that we know the second will was a fake one.

So Epig, what was up with this post? Now that we know the will was a fake by the baddies... I don't knwo, something about using theSmiley there seems to imply that you know something. Maybe that's not the way everyone reads it, but that's the way I read it.
What your post here did was give everyone another option to consider that was very different from the first conclusion: that the Will was faked to give Zomba credit after S~V~S was killed. I'm sure it's nothing, but it really seems to me like you were trying to save Zomba, in a way.

If some of them aren't being faked. Although apparently that bottle really gravitates toward Epi. I'd like to sign up for Piffington Wainwright's class. Will there be a course on the differences/similarities of trade and transfer?

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 5]
When I ask a question, I am looking for an answer in real time, that reflects someones current state of mind. That is why it annoys the living hell out of me when I ask a question, and get a response like, "Go look for it. I already answered this", or "I am not gonna look up posts for you". Yeah i know this was already answered. I saw it. I seek to compare answers and saying things like, go look for it makes me more suspicious of a person. It seems like evasion.Epignosis wrote:Hold on, hold onS~V~S wrote:I had forgotten about that. I was hoping at the time that Epi would explain his train of thought better when able to talk again. I need to do some rereading.
Wait, maybe the answer's looking for you
Hold on, hold on
Wait, take your time think it through
Yes, I can make it through
Now I know you cannot answer this, so I am not faulting you for that. That was a general statement, although were you not cursed, I imagine I might have gotten a similar answer to the one I did get. I am trying to decide why *I* think you keep getting targeted with these things. You have not been silenced, or killed. Just insanified. So is someone protecting you, or is someone shutting you up? It feels more like protecting you to me; this Mafia has a silence and they are not afraid to use it. So I have to ask who is protecting you? Civvies (I am guessing the Reptile gal is at least one of the roles insanifying people, and a good job she is doing, these are some fun curses!) or baddies?
That is the question I have to answer. Becasue it seems that every time people stop talking about the sudden lynch flavor du jour, and start talking about you again, you pop up with an affliction. TBH, I can make a case for it being either party. suspect?
Also at Liz Keen, who do you suspect right now? Just curious as you and I seldom seem to be on the same page.

I think we should lynch Epignosis today, regardless of curses. I actually feel a bit better about Dom after DP was NK'd. This will require some rereading though.
We now have three confirmed civs who want(ed) Epignosis lynched: blindfaeth, MM 1.0, and the poet.

Well, the reason DP had the charm would be clear IMO based on a theory YOU proposed about why someone would steal that object from BR night one.
I happen to think that theory makes sense. And Golden was already dead iirc by then.

My guess would be Indy since he had BRs charm, and that theory about why someone would want that item, makes total sense to me. IIRC LC posited on Day One that that charm could be one of the treasures of the orient. Plus there was a fairly spirited defense of him, considering that he is an infamous low poster who had said very little, tbh.
Both circumstantial, but it fits to me

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 5]
All I really did yesterday was compare your early vote for Zomba with your early vote for DP. I didn't go through the evolution of your thoughts on Zomba, but since you brought it up, I have now done so. And you have remained incredibly consistent. I find most of your posts about Zomba to be matter of fact, flat in tone and delivery. "We should lynch Zomba", "Zomba is bad", while when you're discussing other topics, you take on a more conversational tone with a degree of uncertainty. I don't know exactly what to make of this, but one explanation is that you are Zomba's teammate and you threw her under the bus after her bad reaction to BF's post, and you never looked back. I do think it's interesting that you made no mention of Zomba on Day 2 when Epi and I came out with a case against MM. You went along with the MM case and didn't mention Zomba's name at all. Then on Day 3 you went right back to suspecting Zomba.Dom wrote:TH, yesterday, you discussed my thoughts on Zomba and their evolution through the game-- why did you ignore what I said about her on Day 1?
But okay Dom, you thought DP was bad. He likely wasn't. Now where do you look? Was the DP case really the only thing you had?
Really now, is that what you think?Long Con wrote:I'm a bit suspicious of Turnip Head - I was thinking that if he has the Bottle, and the Bottle was in Epig's safe... there's not that many ways he could have gotten it.
