I've never seen Mac town, but from what I've picked up, it seems like he is known for pushing his scumreads pretty hard. I find it easier to tell people's alignments when they're pushing me, so I encourage Mac to push me here so I can better sort him and so that he actually gives enough content to read him (so far he has been pretty content-dry IMO).

idk about a mac/marmot team but i did bring up the idea in btsc that there could be one mafia between them. general consensus seemed to be that they're both town but in their own ways that dont always seem to compliment each other perfectly

I think their treatment of each other has been weird, but I've been in BTSC with both of them, so that might be affecting my thoughts.

In BTSC yesterday, I talked a bit with Marmot about how I thought Mac's push on me was slimy, and he seemed to want to talk more about JJJ (not scumreading JJJ, but explaining JJJ to me), but then close to the end of the day, Marmot was just like "Mac is scum with Nook, pass it on" (paraphrased, even if in quotes, because rules and all), without really any explanation, which pinged me.

Then Mac in BTSC today I mentioned something Marmot said, and Mac responded by calling Marmot scum, but again without really any explanation or anything. I know Mac did mention this in thread a few times, but it doesn't feel like real suspicion from Mac, and it seems like Mac has been looking for any other target today.

So like, it feels more like distancing than suspicion from them. I didn't get a chance to really talk to Mac in BTSC yet though, so hopefully later we'll both be on at the same time so I can figure him out.
