Only votes which are in place at the end of the lynch affect Tzeitel's power.

He seemed dejected at the start of the first night and suggested that something went wrong with EOD shenanigans. I suspect he was punished and somehow failed to live up to the demands of This Guy, and the result was a skipped day phase. It looks like he saw it coming, and the joke Marmot just extracted from his EON commentary does corroborate that in a way I'd not considered.

I doubt he "did" it, but he was related to it.

I have no idea why the ghost has to have anything to do with what happened to Epignosis. I have been attributing it to This Guy.

Also, given that DFaraday confirmed that the ghost does not have to die for the civilians to win the game, we can assume that it isn't purely an evil entity. If its ability triggers a skipped day phase, then it's ability is purely pro-mafia and anti-civilian. I think it makes more sense to just assign that shit to the mafioso.
