Yeah, I was a big Colin defender. It's funny, when I knew he was going to be lynched, I was like... if he turns up Civ I'll look bad like I *knew* he was Civ, and if he's bad then I'll look bad like I was a teammate defending him. Why don't you do some of your famous research and find out how much I defend my teammates when bad.

You need some discrediting. It would increase the chances of a Civ win. Accuracy is actually secondary.

Sure, because who was first to call out Colin for the reason that got him lynched? That's the guy you think needs discrediting?

This really is a 'survival first, town second' mindset. If I'm wrong about you, set about demonstrating it, not taking me down for it. If you're both town and paying proper attention I don't buy that you believe I'd have drawn a whole lot of attention on day one; made a leap from epi to sig after Colin's Luna vote because of Colin's behaviour; been the first to call Colin out; consistently call Colin bad all day until he was lynched - and be his Persian teammate.

Both you and sloonei are making strong tone-based pushes for why you aren't bad, but both of your isos look bad. I prefer judging your content to judging your tone in this case, because your tone... is a tone that could genuinely be NAI. Your content looks bad.

The only favourite thing I have ever felt my playstyle inspired was a favourite mislynch target, because I play it loose, I don't have an eidetic memory, I jump to conclusions based on very little, and I only truly engage when I'm talking about me. My playstyle sucks.

Actually putting them in separate boxes does lead to a realistic story. The more boxes the better. Imagine something like this:



I'm looking for the things that are different, not the things that are the same, depending on whether you're bad or good.

I'm not so analytical as to actually be able to split things up into those boxes, but I do look for people to 'look civ' on all points.

I'm not here to force you to agree with me. I'm going to vote today for whoever I think the best option is. It might be LC or it might not. But certainly I'm more likely to be swayed that LC is good by points on content than just a general vibe.

eg, speedchuck made a good point in LC's favour that I haven't forgotten.

Why are you treating the Oracle like it's definitive rather than just a player's opinions?

I'd like to see a game where an Oracle-type role is listed in the Civs but is secretly bad... see how many people rely on the Oracle's wise words. Not saying that's happening here, I just think it would be a fun exercise.

That is very kind to say. I get the impression that hard work, skilled play, and experienced analysis are what the people value and love, and thus the heroes of the day are always Golden, Sloonei, JJJ, and others (I'll stop listing names early because the more people I leave out, the better). That kind of stuff makes it nearly impossible to lynch you guys. I'm easy to lynch; all I usually have are spur-of-the-moment pleas, shined up as nice as I can make them.

I don't think I contradicted myself: my playstyle is unreadable - and the same good or bad - because I don't even know what it is. Because I just play what I see and play what I think. I don't even know what I'm going to do next most of the time... something suspicious catches my eye and I'm, like, "Gotcha!" The truth probably is that I'm the worst one to discuss my own playstyle or meta... I'm the only one that can't see the colour of my own eyes. I'm in me, hard to see me from here.
