and tr nutella is definitely capable of bussing, but it's sort of an occams razor thing to me where the push looks towny at a base level and i dont see a reason to overcomplicate it, especially when the game has proven to be easy so far

Yes And also because I am specifically the most reluctant busser in the entire world. I always lose as scum because I fail to bus early enough for cred and/or pair myself with packmates who go down before me. So I literally cannot fathom just murdering Nicole for no reason on d1 and then not even using the resultant cred to powerwolf the hell out of the thread. To me this reads as a towny who got a pelt and keeps seeing the town flip scum, so there's no reason to work too hard.

I guess my question to you is, why can't we just work on our current POE, and if we have a misflip or two we get to see if v!nutella reveals herself? Surely she would become readable in a threadstate where we would actually need her.

@Dubz not really. I've kind of been at pyxxy/epig/leetic all day long. I'm kind of stuck on how pyxxy was defending long con most of the last cycle, Trek defended pyxxy on day 2, and overall pyxxy has yet to vote a wolf.

But like I'm not opposed to epi, nor really leetic. I just haven't had as much time as in previous cycles to really dig into the wagons. So there's a decent chance I'll be the Luigi to gims's Mario and just follow their lead.

Do you have any opinions?

i caught a mafia d1 and then stopped trying bc everyone else was solving the game for me and i have very low investment

it's very funny that i could have been the n1 kill target and now this is happening the mafia are probably enjoying that but w/e

I think gims and DM have looked at this harder than I have, so I'm gonna follow their lead here if they think pyxxy is not scum, and because it fits their theory. leetic could absolutely be scum independent of that. Like, this doesn't need to be a fight that I need to go after tooth and nail.

But, as I've said... I expect that if leetic flips town then pyxxy needs to be next. pyxxy gets exactly one misflip before we need to resolve that slot.

I do understand that mindset, it's a problem that I have struggled with myself. This is precisely the kind of situation where a wolf who plays like nutella says she does is going to end up bussing a lot. In fact, one of the only games where I have actually bussed was a game a couple of years ago where I replaced into a wolf slot and found that gims had gotten a towncore going and the whole team was in the POE. I had nowhere to go, and after getting accidentally turned into a slot that looked towny after one of my partners acted sus about flipping me, I strongly considered making a push on that partner as the deadline was coming up because I just didn't know where else to go. I got a few moments to check in on the game and a town player had started a wagon on that buddy so I popped on with a comment about how that was exactly what I had been thinking about doing!

And that game is why I adopted a "powerwolf or go home" mentality because trying to slog through the next month after bussing the buddy who was actually active while I was stuck in a neighborhood having to try to constantly put up a show of towniness to gims, knowing I was probably doomed all along, was MISERABLE

Anyway the point of that was that I think d1 bussing is way more common and effective than you do. It's often been said on MS that it's actually better for wolves for one of them to get flipped on d1, they win those games a LOT
