When I say I can't I mean I cannot commit two hours of my life to something because I know I could use that time to study even if there's an 80% chance I end up doing something else but that 20% chance I do end up studying has an absurd value, and I can't deal with the stress of being a 5 star chef while dealing with the stress of procrastinating, it's too much.

I've successfully wolfsided today by talking about not game related stuff, I'm such a good wolfsiding npc, you wouldn't believe it.

Also fwiw the deleter is one shot as long as it hits an npc, so I don't really see it being used on TSP of all people.

TSP did pinged me as a player for a sec when he posted a list of ppl who he thought were playing, but aside from that, I thought he'd fit the NPC criteria.

You might be right about that. I do feel like I'm not ready to be a true NPC sometimes.

The thing is... I have a friend out there. You wouldn't know them. But I'm pretty sure they are a player. And I think they'd appreciate if I kept my player equity for a bit longer, y'know?

We might not see the differences between our alignment, but they do, and I choose to respect their beliefs. And maybe that way, we can reach a better understanding between NPCs and Players.

Ye those are two unrelated thoughts. Pyxxy not a wolf due to vote use and responses. Not tremendously high confidence but enough to not want to go there today; possibly revisit after purges.

Here's the thing about the Radishes push: Master Radishes turned out to not be a player in this game. But he could have been, and his timezone and general playstyle meant that it would not have been out of character for him to pop up at any time as any alignment. Mafia have no way of knowing that he isn't going to show up, and if he did show up he very plausibly could've been a real player as well. Joining in on that early would be a big risk push and a lot of attention to call to oneself for relatively little mafia reward.

That's another part of the thought process as to why I chose that opener, it's one of the things that can be done in that day 1 and actually be useful to find alignments later. It did not garner as many reactions as I hoped, but it did get a few and one of them is a hard townread (or at least, not mafia read) on Sloonei for joining in early and staying the course.

So off of that, we then see pyxxy dropping a naked rando vote on Sloonei on d1. I requested explanation for that and I like the response.

The biggest advantage mafia have early on is their own votes - since they know the location of four real votes, that can potentially give them a ton of information about where real town are if the wagons are closely contested.

Which is why it was very beneficial to have a big consensus wagon yesterday, and the same will be true today and d3. (Now me, I had to go to bed 6 hours before EOD so that's not enough time to actually see where things are going, which is why I left my vote on risiinq instead, since I knew big chungus iiafr had just recently hydra'd with her and thus would show up and defend her against becoming a real eod wagon. Ain't never seen someone hydra with someone as town and then scumread their hydra partner in the next game they play.)

But anyway pyxxy's vote use seems all right, at least not at all mafia beneficial.

i see the logic for your pyxxy defense but argue that there's a chance the wolfteam is just not taking this game very seriously and therefore not coordinating votes for maximum info, etc

You dont have a player equity its all in your mind, eventually you'll come to terms to embrace the reality of your true NPC self. Also im pretty sure that all the people in the masonry so far are actual NPC's with the exception of maybe Lily.
