Oh Beautiful Gods and Goddesses, this is a reminder that your night actions are due by 5:54 p.m., less than 2 hours from now. Please don't forget to send them. It makes for a much more fun game when everyone plays their night actions. Also, don't forget to vote :)

The wizened, tiny old man opened the trunk of an ancient, rusted out Buick. He bent over, much easier and more fluidly then one might expect from such an elderly man. He started to put his arms around the impossibly large bundle at his feet, but was distracted by the unmistakable sound of an air horn.

He snapped up and looked out towards the road. He, and the Buick, were standing in the middle of a frozen lake in Lakeside, Wisconsin, yes Wisconsin, home of Hinzelmann, the Serial Killer :feb:

(Does anyone read the roles, lol??)

He saw a Greyhound Bus coming up the road, headed right towards town. He was so surprised, Lakeside did not have a bus station, nor did any town for miles around. Yet, here was this bus. How odd.

He turned back to the task at hand. He easily lifted the giant bundle and stuffed it into the trunk. He peeled back a corner of the blanket he had wrapped around the body and looked at the young, strong face of Atlas. Now the dead face of Atlas. He tenderly tucked the blanket back around him, closed the trunk gently and started to head back to shore.

On the way back to his house, he passed three guys in blacks suits and sunglasses (in Wisconsin! In January!) getting out of a black SUV, walking up to the pedestal where Atlas usually was busy holding up the world. But today it was empty. The men in the suits stared at the empty pedestal.

Atlas has been sacrificed :sigh:

You know what has to be done~ who struck down Atlas??

I think it more likely than not. A lot of civs voted for Wisconsin, so it would be all too easy for him to hide amongst them. Further, we don't know if Hinzelmann has any recruitment or vote compelling abilities. I just checked and his role doesn't say "*Secrets*", but I wouldn't rule it out as a unwritten ability.

Ugh, Wisconsin. So do we think Hinzelman gained something by us going here? There was no discussion Day 1 about someone getting poll info, but maybe now is the time. Does anyone think some people are getting info on the polls?

Okay, I don't know it. There's way too many people that voted for that option for their not to be several civs sprinkled in there who didn't read the role list closely enough. Even the hosts alluded to the lack of careful reading in the Day Post.

Well my lovelies, I was a bit preoccupied the last few days. There was a rousing party with lots of strapping young men that I simply could not bear to leave. And what would a party be without glamorous me there to bring a little life (and seduction)? Now I am back to grace you with my presence again. I will try to be more focused on our proceedings, but with Vesta constantly harping on virginity it was beginning to feel a bit tedious. I mean, really! All these attractive gods and goddesses, why shouldn't we enjoy ourselves? Don't get your panties in such bundle Vesta darling, life can be much more fun!

To the question of whether Hinzelman gained something from the move to Wisconsin, I can't imagine how he didn't given the fact our host seemed to imply exactly that. I will likely be looking at Wisconsin voters for my lynch vote.

That's not what you said above. You said "a lot of civs." That's a different statement than "several sprinkled in there". And 7 isn't way too many people, IMHO to make assumptions like that.

I'm not anti-Semantic, okay, but this is ridiculous. For your argument, the opposite is just as true. How about: I know there are civs in there because I am a civ and know who some are? The pendulum swings both ways, ya know.

Several is 4 or more. To me, that is a lot in a game of 20+ people. That's nothing if not reasonable.

I don't really see a way that you could know who more than 2 other civs are at most. And 4 out of 25 is a lot? I wouldn't say that.

Can we talk about why Wisconsin won in an apparent tie?

And in counting just now, I just noticed there are 25 roles and 24 players. :o

Not a bad idea. I will look back over the Wisconsin voters to see if anyone jumps out as suspicious. It would be very nice to get rid of the serial killer.
