Though, sure. Do you think my reaction to Brad's post is unjustified?
Why are you confused by it?
I guess I just didnt expect that to be the route you take here, feels so out of the blue especially so close to EOD
Felt like all day you've slowly built up some reads and a worldview just to take a u-turn on that
I know I tried to and then just decided to not go by it due to this circumstances.

Wish I could explain that a little bit better...
But I can't and feel like the best way to explain my thought process is to simply say "I'M WASHED" and that should suffice.

The pressure he directed toward me early in the day fwlt aimless and arbitrary.
I had a pretty different perspective of this. I will give falcon a little time (maybe very little with the deadline approaching) to answer for himself before I expand.
With time constrained, I will expand on this. I thought falcon's take on Sloonei was pretty token. When asked for reads, Sloonei gave two that could be viewed as "generic" (that Delta and I earned a town point for making the game move). While I don't think those reads necessarily indicate that Sloonei is mafia, I was not surprised that falcon griped. They were easy reads to make that defer thread engagement to others without "ruffling feathers" (or it's easy to understand why someone would perceive them that way). Perhaps that's a surface accusation on falcon's part, but I'd call that kind of thing his M.O.
I think you have made some good points

Comparing his earlier posts to looking at how he approached me - called me a wolf but was still willing to at least engage me on my reads and look into them himself. w!Falcon couldve just cut it at saying 'no real thoughts there' I guess?

Day 1 comes to a close…

There is power in numbers. The hawk has watched the meadows with its careful eye, waiting patiently for a rabbit to separate from the rest. It waited, and it waited, and it waited.
Until finally it happened. The sun reached the tops of the trees and the rabbits began to scatter to the safety of their burrows. Except for one. In the ruckus,
falcon45ca was left behind. Worse, they were sat out in the open, vulnerable, alone.
The hawk almost gave a whistle of exhilaration. It took to the skies, circling lazily as it watched
falcon45ca in the field. As the rabbit began to nose its way through the grass, the hawk swooped down, grasping the rabbit by the nape firmly and launching back into the air. Before crashing back down. This was a big 'un. It'd need to pick at its prey here, in full view of the other rabbits.
It would eat well tonight.
falcon45ca has been eliminated. They were the Continental Rabbit, and they were also a villager.
Night 1 will last 24 hours until 2:00 PM PST on Sunday, May 19, 2024. The wolves have 23 hours to get in their night kill to me.

Day 2 approaches...
The hawk feasted the entire night. The rabbits could only quiver in their burrows and listen to the dreadful noises of tearing flesh, desperately trying to ignore that it was once a dear friend of theirs. In hindsight, it was almost prophetic that a rabbit named Falcon would be the first to be taken by a bird of prey.
Alas, the inexorable passage of time waits for no one. The darkness over the land began to withdraw as the sun crept up the horizon. The hawk, still on the ground and suitably stuffed with delectable rabbit meat, catches sight of movement in the nearby brush. It hops once, then twice, and then realizes that it's looking at a rabbit's little hiding hole. It peers in, hopefully, and catches sight of the burrow's occupant.
It's not hungry anymore, but it can't let an opportunity go to waste. It lashes forward with its razor-sharp beak.
G-Man has been killed. They were the English Lop, and they were also a villager.
D2 will last for the next 48 hours until 2:00 PM PST on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

I had no interest in the Falcon vote since I thought he'd improved over the course of the day, though I did want to at least respect what Brad was saying about Sloonei to try find some middle ground with him, which is why I prodded him a bit about his thoughts on the solo wagons
Long Con's move onto me was pretty odd considering it was on the basis of me 'overreacting to something' which the initial poster & yourself had acknowledged was weird. So reaffirmed my own vote on him in turn

Nah, that's bull. I don't know if this narrative of single voters has merit, but I see no difference between them and a Sloonei voter. At all.
Delta's reaction to falcon wanting to keep players in that hadn't played in a while was not believable to me, the level of "oh my god WHAT??" was cranked too high. Artificial drama. My suspicion should be pretty legitimate upon analysis, so analyze and try again please.
b) I understood falcon's perspective because I share it. Because I agree with it. And I think most peoples' here history with me should back up that I am JUST that kind of "heart" player. I would rather keep an old friend that I miss in the game than go after them for any reason at all.
Name one player that fits the bill more than G-man, even in this game with fingersplints, JJJ, Sloonei, Roxy, G-man stands out as a very special presence that I would have liked to appreciate for more than Day 1.
The wolves made a mistake, and the result is that they might as well kill me on Night 2, now, as respectfully as possible, please remove this obviously off-target vote from me, and let's try and expand this concept further.

I've had a night and a falcon flip to think about it. In the moment I saw a conflict arise and stated my perspective of the two "accused" (you and Lime Coke).
With everything resolved, however, and a night to sit on a pretty feeble final tally -- new thoughts emerge. I am often inclined to pay attention to people on solo wagons (I think they often get overlooked when people focus on "counterwagons" or the like), and Long Con's and Wilgy's votes stood out for being on players that I'd say were highly unlikely eliminations on Day 1 (you and Epignosis).
He can still reply to my request for explanation, and I'll see how I feel. Wilgy will need to do the same.

We are not the same person though. I don't know that your priorities are THAT polarized, but mine unquestionably are.
Like, I'm not being coy about this. This kill would be impossible for me to agree to. This will always be true. Like, I'm not being coy about this. This kill would be impossible for me to agree to. This will always be true. Take me entirely out of any rainbow list, because this is as undeniable as my Win Condition already being met. It's not even a disucssion worth having, and it's time to hang up the idea of voting for Long Con for good in this game. I am the ideal Night 2 kill.
I agree with you about Epignosis. I have more explicit history to draw from with him in circumstances like this. I
could see this applying to you, and perhaps Epi's take on that could be highly valuable to me here. Who on this player list do you think it would not apply to? I believe we have only two players that don't have that depth of history with G-Man (Delta and Lime Coke). Otherwise, everyone here is a long-timer.

I'll think things over. I may just give Day 1 a reread since it was so short.
I appreciate that, as I am trying to convey the actual true passion I am feeling about the situation, and I hope this means that it is being felt.
At the very least, I can believe that a mafia team with Long Con that kills G-Man does so against his protest or somehow without communication. And that means something.

fingersplints, for instance, though a 'long-timer', is sort of in the same boat as G-Man, meaning she hasn't been playing consistently and missing him consistently as some others. He would be a more viable option because most players are players that she hasn't played with in a while.
I don't think that most players prioritize this kind of thing as much as me. Like, criticize me because I put personal feelings above game sensibility, evry single time. It's not an ideal game-winning perspective, it doesn't make me a better player, but I don't think you will find another player that will absolutely make the from-the-heart judgment in this kind of situation, very very very predictably.
You want me to judge whose values fall short of the values that I absolutely believe in? That's an awkward question, to say the least.

LOL ok, if a two-person team snuck it past me.
Me, who posted during closed night.
I was around... you know? I hear you, but it's really ... best to accept what I have said, because I'm laying bare truths about myself for this.

Yes. Any vote you place will imply that anyway.
