Well FYI for the past 4 weeks or so up until recently I've been in 4 mafia games, and 2 of them I nearly got burned out in. See d3 of GoC where I'm fairly sure I dropped there; and on MU I nearly had to remove myself from the Open World game over mental health reasons.

Yesterday and the day before was mostly a break to save my motivation for this.

I don't like defending myself like this, but I have to say it because I really doubt anyone in here has been in all the games I've been in recently or currently.

Sorry to hear that. Never forget that mafia is just a game, and mental health is always the priority. :hugs:
Thanks for the concern. But I am much better now, I have less circumstantial stuff to deal with. The last week of February hit me kinda hard on the amount of stuff I had to do.

Not sure of OT is proper for discussing this though since its going to be part of my defense.

Whatever you say in OT is off the record and cannot be used against you in the court of mafia.

Or at least that's how it's supposed to work. Make it on topic if you like. I'm just expressing my condolences in OT since it wasn't intended to be game-related.

This is my belief too. I agree with your assessment of the conversation around ChopChop. Like as soon as he claimed it I knew I was wrong. Gut punch moment. But Alison's assessment of where we stand isn't wrong. We will probably need to resolve his alignment question.

would be a pretty big coincidence for a villa to not only pick a weird target to send a message to, but also leave off the one person who happens to be the mafia night kill off their message. if chop is town, they're the unluckiest townie alive.

slipping as scum is a simpler and more plausible explanation than these many coincidences.
What I'm going to argue is Hanlon's Razor. ChopChop is by far not the brightest of the bunch and considering his tone and and the sense I get from the statements, I feel this is more adequately explained by villager stupidity than Scum stupidity.

I also feel like there's a bunch of energy to him but I also think he's just not sure of how to village along with how he wants to play, as he used to have a completely different villager playstyle several months ago but has recently got more upset over being ML'ed. Hence a recent playstyle change which I can see is very apparent in him right now.

That is likely true.

But its my personal belief that he's most likely BOS.

If he's scum here then me trying to read him in the future would actually be quite hard tbh unless his meta shifts to something new or has more adjustments to it.

ChopChop. Rej.

Dom and Epignosis are in the running. They've both been afk D2 and were in the deepwolf position D1.

Rej has completely vanished like he did in Space Invaders where he got caught instantly which is exactly the same as what's happening right now.

I have a town read on Mac, mostly because he can't really win as scum if he plays like this. His teammates are going to get trampled on and he'll get outed by mech or by "well, we're out of good exes, let's just get rid of the afk". I have seen him blitz out first post reads as scum before (in SI) and he did that with a specific eye to pocketing a specific person via meta. He is pocketing nobody in this game with this behavior. I also just remembered that he said in Bread Mafia he was going to take mafia lowkey for a while because of some arguments he got into in D1.
