YEEEESSSSSS!! phew! Ok, sorry for gloating, but that was harder than I expected.
So, the question is... Did borok still have teammates? I noticed, SVS, that you pointed out that he didn't seem to have BTSC. Either they weren't available, or they're dead and the only baddie left is Trogdor. Or both are left?
Oh man, I hope I live through the night.
Anyway, I began glancing through conversations even from a day or so ago (game days). The beginning of Day 8 is far back enough to already be revealing about who borok and timmer sided with or suspected or voted...

YAAAY! The head guy! Now, how many are left....I don't have a good feel at this moment but I've also had maybe a little too much wine tonight! I'll do some readback tomorrow.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
RIP Lea and Faraday. My belief is both of you were good but thats based on gut (and Snow Dog (I think) who said Faraday was good) so RIPIYWG.
I had a feeling - I'm sure many of you did - that Trog would show up eventually. Now, where do we start?
Also, I am on a trip visiting family and its a little harder to squeeze out time to post so I will be a little less available than normal. I am interesting in finding Trog though and the remaining Lazer(s) so I will participate as much as possible.

Re: Homestar Runner [Night 11]
I have only just started having more time and opportunity to be involved in this game the past couple of days. Being honest, I haven't really been motivated to dive in because this is a busy game and there is a ton I've missed (and it's a hard core game, which makes me want to be less involved). My goal has been to simply keep up with what's happened since I've joined... and even that has been a challenge. But now I have more time (also my sweetie's going out of town again for about a week, so right now I'm trying to soak up every last minute with him before I die of boredom for a week - during which week I'll have plenty of time to mafia) and yet yesterday and today I am having internet issues. (I'm pet sitting and staying in a different house, and their internet has gone wonky.) I think I have the internet issue sorted (I hope) and I do plan to be a bigger part of the game. It is what it is.Captain Bunny Killer wrote:Also, thoughts on Indi? I'm seeing a lot of following without much substance... (In fact, my internet just crapped out and I lost this post - twice. But thank goodness for Lazarus! This internet thing is really starting to piss me off.)

Since my internet seems solid for the moment and my sweetie has decided to rest his weary head...
This was an exchange that I took note of after the last lynch, and I guess at the beginning of the night period:
Also, I have been wondering this for a while, so I'm going to go ahead and ask:
JC, is your avatar an onion with a black eye?

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 7]
FUCK!
I hate to say I told ya so but...
SVS used every possible reason and rationale she could when she came into the game knowing she had an uphill battle to fight to distance herself from the Trogdor suspicions. To her credit, she lasted quite a while and was able to dance her way out of the public eye, but she her dance card needs to be punched right now and I'm gonna be the first one to punch it! She's getting my vote this round and any civvie-minded players remaining should do the same if we have any hope of winning this battle.
I hate to say I told ya so but...
I'm ENTIRELY convinced SVS is Trogdor. Look at her voting behavior the last few rounds: she voted to lynch Bullzeye and then couldn't see how borrukei could possibly be bad or have any partners. It's almost as if she knows the right choice and actively did the opposite...the reason being it doesn't matter to her who gets lynched or not because she needs everyone dead anyway! Then remember THIS post:BigDamnHero wrote:(snip)
One thought I've had about Trogdor is that he may be laying low to avoid suspicion in hopes that people will think he has been eliminated when he's actually just laying in wait until the opportunity to start picking off the last few ramining players. Now I'm in no way asserting that I believe movingpictures is Trogdor at this point, but it is a scenario I've thought about and can see someone of MP's caliber employing such a devious strategy.(snip)
Yeah...I'm gonna bring this up! She plants this thought early enough so that she can refer back to it and say "See, I told ya someone would use this against me" while also building up some plausible deniability. But at the same time she's trying to convince us that the remaining baddie team is more of a threat to keep Trogdor discussions to a minimum.S~V~S wrote:I mentioned Mata since she was a Timmer voter.
And even if I were to be Trogdor, as many have said (and which I am not), I would still want to baddie hunt. Had Timmer managed to lynch DP, he would be alive and basking in all the civ cred right now. You don't have to be a civvie to know a baddie when you see one
Trogdor has not killed since Day Two or Three. The Blue Lasers have, so even if I were Trogdor (which I am sure someone is going to bring up), I would be less of a threat than the Lasers. And that was "if". If I am not Trogdor, then I am a civ. In any case, if we manage to kill off the Blue Lasers, I am sure I will be first to go if the game does not end. And that is likely when the Trogdor kills will start again,
But again, at this stage, whether I am a civ or not has nothing to do with the affiliation of the people I suspect.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
Actually, this makes a lot of sense to me, especially since I believe she had good reason to come after me in the last day phase without even noticing that I wasn't lynchable yesterday. I really thought that whole thing was fishy, and it wasn't about defending borok (she barely talked about him). It was about taking me out.
I will wait to see more on this, but yes I agree.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
Interesting indeed! That seems entirely plausible, I agree. In the beginning, the accusations against her being Trogdor seemed opportunistic to me, but now it really is starting to sound logical. Especially coupled with Trogdor's last kill of Leamiteo.

I'm not sure how we could tell anything about Trogdor from who he's killed, since it would be random. Anyone want to clarify that for me?
Also, I still don't trust either AP or Indi. I'm not saying I'm ready to go after them, but I'm not ready to let go either. Although, I will say that AP's consistent self-voting is weirder than anything Indi has said. Did anyone else see if that was correct that AP has only self-voted? I could have missed something, so please let's get other eyes on that.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
Yeah, I knew this was coming, all the people I have suspected all point the finger and say, "Trogdor!". BDH who has been BigFatAbvsent for days is suddenly here with the I Told You So.
Go for it guys, lynch me. It won;t get you Trogdor, or a Blue Lazer or Bullz correctly pointed out. It will allow two more kills tomorrow night, though. I would be amazed if I was not being blocked every, or every other at least, night.
Good job blocking Non-Trogdor, lol.
And as far as I can tell, Trogdor does not pick his victims.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
Leamiteo's last post stated her belief that SVS was bad...specifically that she was borrokuei's partner. As SVS said, though, Trogdor doesn't specifically target the victims, but if people weren't sending in hut choices then those individuals would automatically be in whichever hut Trogdor would choose. I think Trogdor was in waiting for people to let their guard down and then took advantage.
As for A Person, he voted for himself Days 1-4, did not vote at all on days 5-10 and voted for himself again on Day 11.
@SVS...Would your "BigFatAbsent" comment fall under the "No u?" comeback that others have brought up earlier in the game...cuz it sure feels like it. You have nothing else to use against me as a means to refute my case against you so you call me out for one minor flaw in my posting habbits. Also, weren't you just saying how baddies try to go after low posters as easy targets and now here you are employing a similar tactic against me...Early in Day 11 I said (again, as many other post on previous days can corroborate) that I suspected borrokuei was bad and that I fully intended to cast a vote for him when Daisy made the poll available...and I did just that.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
I feel bad for self voting so far, but I've really not been able to pay attention and don't want to make some silly mistake that could've been avoided by properly following the game. Since I haven't been I don't have any real suspicions, so I can't really help in that way at the moment. I feel like this post might seem defensive but my remaining alive is helpful to the civvy cause so I feel obligated to try. It doesn't seem to make sense to want to stay alive and vote for myself so often but I also didn't think I'd get enough votes to die (until now), luckily I've been right so far.
Also, I am pretty sure I should be starting the poll with one vote since I missed one after that rule came into effect.

No, you had a vote against you in the poll immediately after the day in which you did not vote. It does not carry onto subsequent polls unless you continue to miss votes, as with LittleTiger. She has missed two consecutive votes and as such, she has two votes against her in this poll. You have already fulfilled the punishment for your crime, you are now out on parole.A Person wrote:.... Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
indi, lol to tell you the truth I dont know what my avatar is! I googled homestar avatars and this onion is one of the things that popped up. I thought it was cute so I decided to use it. God knows what it really is.
I hate to say it because she is my friend but I see the most probable baddie as SVS being Trog for the reasons that BDH outlined. That same posted (the one where SVS said she would be looked at if Trog did start killing) is the one that came to my mind as soon as I saw that Trog had killed again. I'm willing to keep an open mind for this lynch period though as there is still a long time to go before the poll ends so I won't vote right now, but I do fell pretty sure BDH is right.
I am traveling to city number 2 today so I won't be around much if all during the day today (real day today).
I hate to say it because she is my friend but I see the most probable baddie as SVS being Trog for the reasons that BDH outlined. Sometimes it will naturally come out, but it can be contained if we just remember that this is a game on a message board forum that 99.99% of the population of the Earth has never heard of before. No matter how successful anyone is, it means just about nothing.

I'm pretty sure your avatar is Onion Bubs. Maybe if you youtube that you can find the Onion Bubs homestar episode. I thought we had seen something about it in the game, but maybe that was just something I watched.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
I just read Trogdor's role, and the kill is random, so that does take away that reasoning of mine.
It still looks to me like SVS will be the best place for my vote to go today, though I am happy to wait and see what happens too. From that older, quoted post it looks like she all but admitted to being Trogdor.
APerson, I'll have to take a look at. That is a lot of self-voting and a lot of non-voting. Strange! I'll have plenty of time to do a read through on AP, so I'll see if anything there squicks me out.

I have never admited to being Togdor, that is just extrapolation. I have repeatedly said I am widely believed to be Trogdor; I have NEVER said i was becasue I am not.indiglo wrote:I just read Trogdor's role, and the kill is random, so that does take away that reasoning of mine.

As soon as Bullz died, I knew this was coming. Trogdor laid low, and now when i come up NOT Trogdor, everyone will be all panicy, which will be perfect atmosphere for burninating. Well played.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
I am really seriously torn. I feel like I need to go out on a limb here and say that I am not completely sure about SVS. I know I have suspected her on and off (and she has done the same with me ), but I am just not convinced anymore. I also still don't trust Indi as far as I could throw her. And the AP thing is just too weird to ignore. But I feel like I'm missing the mark somewhere with someone. I have just had way too many surprises in this game.
SVS, why did people begin seeing you as Trogdor? I think we're (or at least I am) beginning from the middle of the argument, the part where you responded to the original accusations. Anyone else have input?

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
When I was off line for about a week. Trogdor stopped killing that week.
I think today was the first time he killed since I subbed in for Rey, who had been totally non participatory before I joined the game. Someone died once, maybe Borok? But then he came right back.
Daisy, would a night kill go through on a night the killer was NKed themself?
Becasue i kinda did really think it was Faraday.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 12]
This depends on when I received said killer's night target, or in this case, hut choice. If I received it before the kill order was sent in for said killer, then yes.S~V~S wrote:When I was off line for about a week. Trogdor stopped killing that week.

SVS, why do you think it was DF? I know you said that his posts were something... blendy or vague? Man, I'm getting tired.
Anyway, if that's the case, we'd obviously need a different direction to go. Any laser ideas?
