I agree with Mac that more people providing reasons to civilian read everyone else would be an ideal approach. The more the better.

Trusting me is one thing. Okay.

Dragon D. Luffy

DDL is a civilian because he has picked up some of the work left by previous (now dead) town leaders and is contributing more than fluff and gifs.

insertnamehere

INH is a civilian because, after a period of being AFK, he has posted steady, substantial content and returned to the thread while he hosts another game (even if he can only do so briefly at times)

JaggedJimmyJay

JJJ is a civilian because I can tell that he's really trying to gamesolve and struggling, yet not giving up hope yet. His reads line up with an early town leader (Mac) and he is seeking more of a consensus on his reads, as they have been flawed.

Kylemii

Kyle is a civilian because he hasn't done anything noticeably bad in the grand scheme of things as far as I can tell. He also isn't afk.

Long Con

LC is a Civilian because he was mislynched in Greece and is playing similarly.

Macdougall

Mac is a civilian because he has analyzed and come up with his own reads on the game. These reads and POV were made without simply copying others and line up similarly with JJJ, a town leader.

Marmot

Marmot is a civilian because he got mislynched in Greece when behaving like this and is fun to have alive.

novaselinenever

Nova is a civilian because he is probably genuinely silenced. Additiionally, he raised the question regarding if the town leaders should be looked at with further scrutiny after a trend of mislynches and bad vig shots.

Pennywise

Pennywise is a civilian because.... Probability states he has just over a 50% chance to be one.

Penny and Marmot have the worst cases, probably followed by LC (?)

I like Kyle in this game. Juliets I like somewhat less. I don't remember who said that but shes mostly making easy points and stuff that is easy to agree with. Did I already run out of active players? Well the others are interchangeable. There is some big tinfoiling about INH since he actually bothered to show up which could suggest team coaching, but then again, he is an inactive who came back. A mislynch of him is worse than a mislynch of say, Dom. The problem is that by picking one now we are basically gambling the game. Then again the town is so fucked that gambling may not be a bad idea.

Pennywise. Look at DDL's effort to orient toward an inactive lynch of Dom specifically. Even my wrong ass did think Dom was an ideal first choice given his long-established history of low posting.

I just scanned his ISO for Pennywise and he has soooo much content about and with Pennywise. I wouldn't think he would engage with and talk about a teammate that much.

I just don't think scum do that? I think there is more evidence to suggest scum teammates avoid each other in thread than there is to suggest they stage these choreographed debates of distancing amazement that people think they do.

Also this particular brand looks all very trustworthy. Read it yourself and find me some Pennywise content in his ISO that looks bad?

trustfallin'

Dragon D. Luffy - nothing in his posts particularly stands out as glaringly bad. not afraid to give reads early and often
insertnamehere - basically absent for the first half of the game but the posts he's made since returning have been really relevant and insightful at times
JaggedJimmyJay - at times has seemed genuine, right now feels like one of those times.
Kylemii - smells like lemon lime soda
Long Con - i have a role in mind for him, but also this long con looks like a civ. which is weird and notable because i've scumread long con in pretty much every single game we've played in together since my return.
MacDougall - has felt like a genuine mac, he's loud and brash and feels like he's flinging a sword around
Marmot - entire game has been a series of being gone a lot so i guess if he was mafia he'd maybe make more of an effort to be here?
novaselinenever - largely absent, at least recently, but has at times felt genuine, outrage at the lynching of inactives strategy felt genuine
Pennywise - hm...? mafia are less likely to abandon a game after 3 cycles in a new play area because they would hate to miss the opportunity of making 3 new lifelong friends.
wolbre04 - not afraid to have feelings that go against the norm

Chapter 2 - Marmot ... Distances Another Civ Wagon
Marmot wrote: Thu May 03, 2018 10:34 am I see a similar thing from JackofHearts2005. Why are your votes on him?

But I feel good that the votes are on players with minimal to no content, rather than someone with high content who made one "disgusting" post.
Chapter 3 - The Betrayal of the Marmot
Marmot wrote: Thu May 03, 2018 11:38 am I'll bite though.

Marmot wrote: Thu May 03, 2018 1:30 pm (I'm just giving Jay a hard time, I think he's town)

The rest of you on the other hand, should be lynched carelessly.
Chapter 5 - The Meta: In which the Marmot remembers that he has to self vote or else people might get suspicious.
Marmot wrote: Sun May 06, 2018 6:50 pm Not caught up at all, so I'm voting off-wagon on myself, whIle sitting on a toilet in a coffee shop.
______________________________________________________

Look imma call it here. This guy has to be today's lynch. There is no reason to civ read him. Everyone read his ISO and see for yourself. It's shit. He defends confirmed civ wagons for no reason. Spends the most energy he has spent in the entire game on defending himself from a wagon that didn't get close to taking off. "Tried to lynch Epi' with the lowest effort ever, like as if he was ever going to achieve his JJJ or Epi wagons. He has faked the suspicion of those two players in particular BECAUSE he knows he won't have to answer for them because they will never get fucking lynched.

Marmot bad. Lynch.

You have awoken the dragon within me. You must find your fury. Find it now!

Your task is as follows:

Please review each remaining player not including your two picks from earlier with a singular focus. Based upon conduct under pressure, particularly late in phases with the weight of votes as applicable, piece together a base theory for which players are the most likely to have an unlynchable role. If you are uncertain or need help, call upon your friends.

On a quick scan of his ISO, Long Con's name stood out, so I will need to read his ISO in regards to Marmot. I don't think that Marmot is teammates with INH or Pennywise, nor do I think that he is teammates with Wolbre. There was little to no mention of Kyle, Nova, DDL or myself and an absolute ton of interaction with you which is totally wifom.

At first look I would say;

Long Con
Kyle/Nova/DDL
Jay
INH/Pennywise

But the more I read it the more it makes sense that he is bad. A lot of the kills probably make sense if you analyse them as though he had a say in them. (Also Epi survived night 1).

So I'll have a look and see if I can rule out Marmot kinship by looking at the ISOs of LC, Kyle, Nova and DDL. Given Kyle is here being all helpful and shit I might put him last lol.

Good lord this is the only post in Nova's ISO that mentions Marmot.

Marmot and Nova have completely avoided each other in this game. Teammate's found!

Our greatest struggle in recent phases has been the total absence of process of elimination. There have been so few trustworthy players that we haven't had the luxury. Damnation breeds truth though, and now we can gaze upon the souls of our brothers laid bare.

With a narrow enough pool, we can go beyond process of elimination for individuals. We can do process of elimination for entire team arrangements.

JaggedJimmyJay wrote: Thu May 03, 2018 9:32 am Marmot asked a single question in his eight posts of pertinence to making reads (about INH potentially voting Scotty). That's a civilian ratio for Marmot. :p
JaggedJimmyJay called me a civilian for the most minimal of content ever offered in the history of Marmots.

Lynch this bear.
You always lament your lack of credit, but when you get it you get scared.
Your response made me laugh.

Damn, and I already voted for you and everything. :ponder:

What a waste of time. This looks suspicious. Is this a joke vote? JJJ isn't getting lynched Day 1, what world do you think we're in?
Long Con wrote: Thu May 03, 2018 6:42 pm Hey guys, just checking in from work, been here for a few hours, we'll be here for a few more so I'll miss the Lynch. My current vote isn't that serious, and I don't like lynching new people day one, so good luck, I will vote Marmot cuz I had some suspicions with him. Pretty minor stuff as I recall, but it's better than nothing.

LC's day 1 was comprised mostly of suspicion towards Marmot. I have been in a game with LC before in which we had a face off on day 1 as scum teammates so yes he does this.

It's particularly poignant when the subsequent days were marked with effectively no engagement between them up until last night where LC had Marmot as an orange skittle.

wolbre04 wrote: Fri May 11, 2018 8:57 amI couldn't comment on this at the time due to silence, but in the ROYGBIV spectrum green is directly in the middle so I put it there because his actions aren't swaying me left (cool colors - town) or right (warm colors - nontown/mafia).
Green is traditionally town/Civ read, most people stop at green in the spectrum. I prefer to use blue as Confirmed Town, most often for myself as an unneeded addition to my own list. Full-spectrum representation pleases me visually. I may or may not have also added purple as a revealed and separate Indy... Koro-Sensei will be there in this game if and when he gets revealed. Yellow is null/neutral, and travel through orange to red to indicate rising levels of suspicion or surety of badness.

Koro-Sensei
Long Con
JaggedJimmyJay
Dragon D. Luffy
Pennywise
Dom
Kylemii
novaselinenever

Scotty
Marmot

MacDougall
wolbre04
insertnamehere
juliets
Definitely could be teammates.
