I understand the current POE pool feeling too easy, or feeling default. Those aren't things I tend to concern myself with, because I view them as distant cousins of the gambler's fallacy. Still, I am open to hearing suspicions of/cases against the remainder of the game. If you accept the premise that today's claim shenanigans clear this group: Wisp, Hally, Long Con, and Spacedaisy, then you're left with the following names to pick at:

sabie has half a dozen things going for her. Kitsu ... can be a wolf? No the miller claim is a soft clear. Also probably doesn't kill Nanook but that's subtle. Wilgy is townish. Colin is maybe trending town. Epi trending wolf, seriously there's nothing towny there. Alison is a ???, different from the last game but could go either way. There are a few things that pushed me in a positive direction here now that I think about it. Jay is still on the wolfy side but I don't think can reasonably be a wolf without this poe still getting one hit and the SK. Jay should sort himself out thus. Pawn most likely wolf but colin most likely scum hit overall, changing my opinion. But maybe not Jay/Pawn. I dunno. Epi/Pawn/Kitsu? Or Epi/Pawn/Alison?

FG and I both suspected you, but recently Alison put out that suspicion of you, which I remember because I commented on it. Bet trending wolf comment makes it seem like Tony is trying to capitalize on that, get in on it early before Alison makes it front and centre.

I’m still about where I was earlier, with a few slight changes.

One thing I’d like to suggest, though, after reading both write ups. Jack Daws comes across more like a Vig than a SK to me, def not mafia. Jack the Ripper (if that’s Nanook’s killer) could be mafia, but would fit better as a SK.

*If* those things are correct, that would possibly mean that the mafia hit was blocked last night. But I’m torn on that idea, because write up copping happens a lot on Realms. Like, when someone is blocked or jailkept from there target, there’s oftentimes a vague mention of something like that happening in the write up.

But here there’s just the two kill scenes. I’m not sure if that’s just the Syndicate style or not, though.

Maybe it is a vig and an SK, and the scum kill was blocked or protected.

The post you highlighted is a review of concerns others had already expressed, as Hally suggested. I also agree with Wisp that Pawn seems to be struggling to find things to talk about (“frozen”) and is awkward in his approach to catching/keeping up.

That’s exactly what I think. I’m under the impression that FG was taken down by Jack Daw. Then Nanook was sliced and diced by Jack the Ripper. I have a hard time seeing Daw as scum, so POE would leave JTR as either scum or SK. But if JTR is SK that means mafia didn’t get off a hit last night for whatever reason.

I guess it all depends on if the mafia has a theme to it, and if JTR would fit into that niche.

That came out wrong, I think. Meaning, in the comic, if one of those bullets are found at a crime scene, it all just magically goes away and gets swept under the rug like it never happened. So it was more a suggestion/guess than an actual question.

The flavor in his appearance in N0 also lends credence to him not being scum imo. Plus the Minutemen weren’t really bad guys in the comics. There was a lot of gray area if iirc, but they weren’t the villains of the story.

My guess is that the first two Jacks that emerged are scummy for sure, since the one electrocuted the OG Jack.
