It's like that on my screen as well. Jinx! You owe me a Coke.
It appears to be staying that way. That is remarkable timing.

Let it be known in future voting order analyses that TH and golden voted at exactly the same time.

Unfortunately, about that coke... I was only just in LA, you missed it. I doubt I'll be back that way till... 2017 at least!

@aether - you are an aussie?

Now I like you even more :) where are you from?
Adelaide. There is a 95% chance you have no idea where it is.
I've heard of Aidelaide, but that's only because that's where the Holden automobiles come from. I couldn't point it out on a map.

I live in Eugene, with a population of a whopping 150,000.

G-Man probably. I've mulled it over and still couldn't see why a mafia Bass would vote BR over me as I'm town. Much of the case on Bass relies on the notion of Bass and me being teammates.

Honestly if Bass flips mafia, I give up.

I asked Bass a question soon after he said this, but he didn't answer it:
Turnip Head wrote:Bass why do you think TinyBubbles was killed Night 3?
We've since had the discussion about this NK without Bass's input, but the fact that he didn't chime in here makes me think he's guilty.

While all discussion today has been about Bass with a sprinkling of G-Man, this is Bass's only post in the past 24 hours.
Bass_the_Clever wrote:This is an important lynch if the mafia were getting the stuff they need for an extra kill they will have everything after this night phase. So if there are two mafia left after this lynch that could mean 3 kills.
He notes that the lynch will be important for us (quite an observation for him to make, tbh), but gives no thoughts on where to go with such an important vote. :ponder:

The fact that he's not in here defending himself and trying to give us an alternative way for this lynch to go makes me think he's trying to hide. It's important to gauge reactions of players under pressure, and Bass is denying us that today. In his absence we're simply discussing him, and the longer we discuss his voting record and his words at their face value, the less inclined people will be to look his way.

Say what you will about G-Man, I agree he looks worse with every post lol, but at least he's putting up a defense and not just letting his votes do the talking, which is what I think Bass is doing.

For me, the thing with Bass is - and I guess the same could be said about G-Man - it's what he isn't saying, more than what he is saying, that makes me think he's bad. I think there would be more "meat" to his game, especially his opinion on Roxy, if he was a civvie this game. His contributions are bare bones, his opinions are all the right ones, and I think he's trying to coast through a talkative game.

I've said most of what I wanted to, and I've already voted for Bass. If the lynch goes G-Man's way I think that will be okay, but I personally feel more comfortable voting Bass first.

Vote Bass

Sorry Jay, your analysis is cool and makes sense, but early votes and night kills say a lot more to me than whatever Bubbles said in her post. Anything could be her trying to make her votes look more natural. Besides, while her early suspicions justify her votes, they also justify her wanting to investigate them in the first place.

honestly it doesnt matter, the people who voted for bass are as likely to have extra votes as the people who voted for g-man. gonna vote g-man because i dont think bass is scum, if the lynch is tied we can just assume 2 of the 4 who voted g-man (assuming bass votes g-man) are scum

I have reservations about a Bass lynch too, and i think theories related to Bubbles are a bad case against him. But there are other reasons to suspect him, and once splints placed her vote it was essentially sealed anyway barring significant guns/butter intervention. which is why i voted for him. the worst scenario would be a mafia-altered final tally.

His flip will be very telling either way though.

You're assuming each player can only use one item per phase. If that isn't the case, nothing stops a single mafioso from dumping all his items to change the vote while the other mafioso stays confortably in the shadows. If I was Bass and was mafia, that's what I'd do. Two butter/guns to tie the vote, one more to win it, and one more to counteract that role who can vote twice.

Hey Bass. If you're town the best thing you can do now is leave us something to work with. Of all the players who have pushed the case against you this day phase, which one(s) do you find most suspicious?

Day 5: They're on Fire!

The group was laser-focused after the sobering events of last night. They felt that they were very close to solving Europe's economic woes, and so in the morning they all crowded together, weary from the Night's labors, and had an earnest discussion about how to proceed.

"We've already lowered taxes to 0," they groupthought aloud. "Now what about if we get rid of that pesky minimum wage?"

Heads began to nod in agreement, but a whisper was heard from the fringe of the huddle. "What? Allow the commoners to slave away for the ruling class, without even the promise of a comfortable life to soothe their aching backs?"

The group spied around, distrustful, trying to suss out the speaker. Then, from another corner, "Yes, yes! Exploit the means of production while you can. The suckle from the teat of the working poor! You, born with silver spoons in your mouths, while away your days in this fortress, and I have seen that you don't give a damn about the people outside who have to live in the economic reality that sustains you."

By this point, everyone was agitated, whispering among themselves and whipping their heads to and fro. They must catch the fiend who dared poison such productive discussion with radical socialist ideas!

Bass_the_Clever hopped up onto a table top,and pointed a shaking finger directly at G-Man. Angry hands seized G-Man from all sides, believing that Bass was pointing out the heretic. But then Bass shouted att he top of his lungs, "THE DICTATORSHIP OF THE PROLETARIAT IS AT HAND!"

From there, matters were simple. They grabbed at Bass, and two people held him down while the others broke the table into kindling. They saved one table leg to tie him to, and then lit a merry blaze in the middle of the Great Hall. Bass's screams of "BOURGEOIS SWINE!" and "YOU WILL REAP WHAT YOU SOW!" rose to the ceiling with the smoke, and as they trailed off into wailing and then silence, the flames burned as red as his ideology had.

The rest of the group sighed with satisfaction, and then went off to sleep.

Bass_the_Clever has been lynched. He was Karl Marx.
It is now Night 5. You have 24 hours to send in your Nightly PMs.
