Is it possible Russ bussed?

Yeah, it is. I thought it was incredibly unlikely when I posted those legacy thoughts, but Russ is a really good player and it's within his scum range.
I'll see what I think when I revisit.

Like don’t get me wrong, I want to townread him, but that was the most clutch D1 casing I’ve ever seen, and the rarity of such an event makes my tinfoil tingle.

That said... I'm still ready to pretty much ride or die on Russ, Jay, Tsaiah, and aby being town. I'll make sure to do what I can to reassess them and I'll see what Jay came up with here and I think you all should always reassess, but yeah. They're definitely most likely town.

I get you. I'd say it's definitely within his town range as believable though if that makes sense. Smart fucking guy.
But I admittedly have had the same tinfoily thought that I keep trying to absolve and at least up until now every time I've read through his case and all of that it seemed really genuine.

Do Not Touch With Rope list rn is Aby, Russ, MP, Jay
I Feel Like Mac Would Probably Appreciate His Own Category: Mac
Probably Do Not Wave Rope At list rn is Kyle, Colin, Luna
Robot could be scum here. Gonna have to iso first to get my own read there, which ain't happening today. Work last night was brutal to the core (yay working at a restaurant during the first week of semester in a university town!), and for some dingdang reason I woke up after like four hours anyway--trying to iso would almost certainly end up in an unscheduled nap, so nope, it's off the cuff stuff for today.
I
think DH was the one i wasn't liking alien interaction stuffs with, not TH? (Y'all call them initials so much that I'm just now getting to the point that i don't comflate them in my head when someone else is talking about them.) Will figure that out tomorrow too if i don't by random thread poking today.
In any case, don't think i've seen a proposed lynch i have any known reason to dislike yet, so fine with the start today
Annnd something something _postus interruptus_ by a sudden rainstorm, idr what else i was about to say before the mad scramble to put up my tablet (at least it woke me up a bit

)

Assuming there are only two more scum which I think is a very safe assumption, I will laugh my ass off if they're just Robot and DharmaHelper, and we win the game on Day 3 or something.
I shouldn't get ahead of myself like this, but the possibility did cross my mind.

Closest thing I can think of is Arrested Development when Turnip Head, Daisy, and I just fucking ROLLED OVER scum thanks to Daisy's flawless cop checks as well as Turnip Head and mine's fake cop claims.
That game is still in my top 5 of all time. Such classic.

Operation Refrigerator Restoration was a super-flawless town win (civilians won without losing a player).
Burglaries count if you want them too.

Oh, and town, thanks to Canuck especially for like the best role usage I've still ever seen but also just a very solid town in general, pretty much wrecked me and my scum team in Roger Rabbit, but I try not to think about that one.

Oh man, I am reminiscing hard, and I will NEVER forget my feeling when I saw that they bought my fake cop check and I got NKed. I literally yelled YES and jumped up and down. And then Daisy came out with her flawless checks to definitively solve the game. One of my favorite moments ever.

I can't get behind this, I've caught a few scum off of patterns that pinged me in just a few posts, and here Russ caught onto a pattern across alien's
entire body of work. His progression makes sense too, you can see him digging into alien's stuff deeper as a townie's natural response to that having caught a scent feel, plus they jibe decently with the timing of my own internal alarms going off.
Not to mention from what i'm seeing in this community's meta, i have doubts as to the likelihood of one scumbuddy looking at the other and going, "hey, i'm case the shit out of you and try to lynch you d1, okay, really actively-playing new guy"?
Continual reevaluation is good and holy and a must, but seriously tinfoiling the guy who cased mafia on d1, on
d2, seems silly and likely counterproductive.

Jay, re: Colin, I also wonder if maybe you're too hesitant to give Colin townie points for a couple of those treatments by Alien. I mean... I totally get why, and I'm trying not to overlook alternative scenarios myself, but I'm feeling a bit better about Colin already just looking at it all again. I'm guessing TMI more likely than not with some of those statements by Alien.

You should be warned though Tsaiah that there have been some pretty outrageous examples of bussing on this site, so I think it's natural for a town Colin to think this out loud as well though.

Out of all the people for whom I found "arguments in both directions", Colin is probably the most solidly grounded in greentown. There are some little moments with a funky scent, but they're not the sort that move me toward tinfoil.

There are four major things I think we should dial in on in order to determine who next to lynch. I will call them "Quadrants".
Quadrant 1: Who did Alien talk about? Who did they suspect? Who did they trust?
Quadrant 2: Who talked about alien? Who trusted them, who suspected them? When did they suspect alien (pre/post Russ Case?)
Quadrant 3: How did people react to the Russ Case and similar Alien Cases? Was there a save attempt or a bus attempt?
Quadrant 4: Who can we clear based on an alien lynch?
This is a bit Captain Obvious. That doesn't have to be a problem. Sometimes obvious calls to action are worthwhile to motivate people.
But DH has done nothing with any of these quadrants. Indeed, he has received two votes and no allies, and his only effort has been to give me
sarcasm. I'm inclined to view the "quadrants" post as fake.

Agree. My gut actually thinks it’s beyond compatible and just plain indicative but it’s still not a slam dunk. Looks bad though.
