I think that's plausible atm.

Though I'm personally going to hold a skepticism for some of them because I think my reasons for town-reading them are overall light or mediocre on the basis that they're all very capable players.

I wrote up a couple of posts explaining why I townread him. He's being productive now and his reads don't look bad to me. People have testified that there are plausible reasons to believe he would step back from mafia based on his past couple of games. What's your concern?

My perception of the thread consensus is that myself and Sloonei have been widely townread with a couple of tinfoils, and Mac has been widely suspected but became more trusted after he re-entered the thread.

Do you think all of those being town and Rej being scum is not in any degree to the contradiction we see on the EoD1 VC? Is it feasible? You also recently claimed I was town as well, though I'm not debating that.

Four of the people you are claiming to be town (well, you are one of those people so it's technically three from your PoV) were on the BK wagon.

IIRC I think I read someone suggest Rej was intentionally saved, though I don't remember if you suggested that.

The real answer is that it depends on who is wrighting as both characters fluctuate between ungodly good and total fuckups.

"I should be receiving more scrutiny" and "I want everyone to give GTH reads on me" are lines that townies say when they're struggling to connect with the game and want some solid takes to sink their teeth into. UTR mafia just keeps trundling on UTR. I wouldn't bet my life savings on it but I'm ok with KZA for now.

I have a town read on Mac, mostly because he can't really win as scum if he plays like this. His teammates are going to get trampled on and he'll get outed by mech or by "well, we're out of good exes, let's just get rid of the afk". I have seen him blitz out first post reads as scum before (in SI) and he did that with a specific eye to pocketing a specific person via meta. He is pocketing nobody in this game with this behavior. I also just remembered that he said in Bread Mafia he was going to take mafia lowkey for a while because of some arguments he got into in D1.

My concern with Mac is that he has/had continued to give uninformed reads while not acknowledging them as such. He has acknowledged it now, but that only came after it was pointed out that he'd missed some pretty major details (such as your roleclaim).

I do not suspect Mac for his activity, and I do not suspect him for generating bogus uninformed reads alone. But I am slightly skeptical of him when he consistently puts bogus reads into the thread without letting on that they are bogus. I would have expected town Mac to inform the thread that his reads were largely uninformed sooner than he did; before people could start taking them seriously, rather than waiting until he was called out for being uninformed.

I have not considered what his "winning strategy" would be playing this way, but I'm not sure he needs to have one. I believe him when he say he has been unable to play as much as usual, and I do not doubt that he'd prefer to remain lowkey for personal reasons (I didn't play or spectate Bread, but I don't doubt your account of things), but with all of this in mind I think it is possible that MafiaMac's strategy right now is just to be accepted as town and worry about the rest later. He does not have time to mastermind a team victory, or if he does, he's not in a position to do that yet. He needs to earn some trust first. So he does that by vomiting quick reads into the thread.

I legitimately think Rej vanishing into thin air when under pressure is outing for him. His tone D1 with the attempt at being overly chill and the use of skeptical emojis to cast shade on attacks against him is congruent with his play in Space Invaders. The argument that he was saved EOD1 checks out.
