No, but MM is wrong about jekyll knowingly working with the silencer. The vote for Cobalt was entirely my own. I'm sorry to see he was civ, but from my perspective I needed to get him out of the way because I would have kept coming back to him over and over.

On the other hand, I would like to know epi's view on whether or not jekyll could be bubbles or not.

I now need a new list of suspects, so I need to pledge to be here more than I've managed to be in the last week. For what it's worth, so far:

I like Ninja's defence.
I need to take a close look into bass's interactions with team webber. I think that case has a lot of merit.
I want to know why epi was targetting devin, even though I suspect I already may know the answer. As far as it 'helping his win condition', I just took that of an epi way of saying 'because I think he is mafia', not that epi has some special kind of win condition.

Holy Cow, I had no idea you were playing! (Take that punctuation hater!!!)

Exactly what about her defense was so persuasive to you? The part where it was really similar to Black Rocks defense, or the part where it was pretty much the same as Black Rocks defense? :confused2:
The tone was different, for starters. BR's responses to accusations felt snippy and dismissive, and while there was a bit of that attitude in Ninja's reply, I thought she came off as very earnest. I didn't get that sincerity with BR. Also Ninja didn't NO U the people who were suspecting her.

I didn't say she persuaded me that she's civ, just that I thought she gave a reasonable response, which puts her in a slightly better standing than people who didn't (which, incidentally, Bass is very much guilty of right now).

Had a lot of fun guys! I do have to apologize though, I'm normally much better than to appear that scummy throughout the whole game. :puppy: Ah well, I had fun playing with everyone. Tbh, your 48/24 phase cycles are KILLER. I usually get killed by mafia before day three in my home forum, on JTM I do better but I definitely lost steam after I was alive more than a few weeks, it's not really what I'm used to. But I had fun anyways, see you guys around!

Hello again my fellow Synidcateers!

If you thought that I would be discouraged by the lack of traction for this campaign, you thought wrong. I am very proud of myself for running for your vote for resurrection. I take pride in my past successes and why shouldn't I? Successful people are what makes this country great. We should be proud of the successful people around us, which is why I am proud of myself. You should be proud of me too, frankly.

Alright, enough about me... for now. Let's get back to those issues that will drive this campaign to victory. My people have been working tirelessly on this brand new prototype:

Image
This will be the key to our domestic security. This muzzle is made of a light alloy metal that is conductive enough to carry a small electric shock to those rapist, terrorist dogs, should they try to take it off. Sensors on the outside of the muzzle will trigger a shock when the dog makes too much contact with the top, bottom, or sides of the muzzle. We are currently exploring the best positioning of the power supply in order to prevent dogs from figuring out how to disconnect it. Honestly, dogs are a bunch of losers who are ruining our country, so I doubt they'd be smart enough to figure it out. But we have to be very careful about underestimating the enemy. Just look at what happened with ISIS for crying out loud.

We are also busy drafting legislation for the full legalization of both medicinal and recreational catnip. I should have both bills ready to submit the day I am resurrected. So with your help, we can allow millions of cats feel the happiness hey deserve. In a future rally, I will present our regulatory structure for this ground-breaking elimination of government overreach.

Think about Syndicate- a muzzle on every dog and a bowl of catnip in every house! That's what I'm promising so please vote for me!

GMan doing his best used car salesman impression. For the 3rd time. :faint:

I'm deadset right now on voting Bass Day 9. Nothing is going to change that for me. Not even because he's usually last to vote on everything, but because of his defense in the last few posts, and his demeanor in general. Every vote screams team Webber to me.

If he flips bad, yay! I'll need to do more digging for a solid #2 suspect and see if my other current suspects can fit the bill.
If he flips good, I vote nutella (or splints). It's as cut and dry for me as that.

I mean come on. This is Bass' only post in Day 5, when GMan already had 12 votes on him.
Bass_the_Clever wrote:G-man why didnt you try to defend yourself? Instead you just asked people to keep voting for you so you could use some kind of role power that might have helped the civs later down the road. This comes off bad to me and for that reason I'm voting for you .
That's his only criticism of GMan all game.

He votes himself Day 3 b/c of "internet issues" which I guess was supposed to be a nice gesture knowing that he wasn't going to be around. Yet he continued to be around later, putting those bandwagon votes and occasionally voicing his distaste of cobalt and nutella. Very snippy and awfully revealing if you ask me.

ENTER ENSEMBLE, DRESSED IN FUNERAL GARB. ONE BY ONE THEY DROP A FLOWER BEHIND A PLATFORM ON STAGE.

EPIGNOSIS: Man... it's a shame.

SVS: Scotty was a good man...

ENTER SINGER

SINGER: I remember Cobalt
He was blue as ink
Or at least I think
I remember Cobalt.

I remember Sloonei
Red as paprika
Sharp as thumb tacks
Analyzing in a blink
And it made you think
Where the vote would go.

I should vote nutella
Brown as chocolate
Tasty as hazelnuts.
I should vote Bass
Bad as Nickelback
Spread on the radio.

I remember days,
Or at least I try.
But as the game goes by
They're sort of haze,
And the baddest player
Isn't really Cobalt
And at times I think
I would gladly vote
For Bass or nutella.

Bass
Nutella
Hedgeowl
MM

Epignosis wrote:What you need to question is how I figured out you and nijuu are teammates.
I really don't need to question how you 'figured out' something that isn't correct.

What I do need to question is 'what team do you think we are on together' - because I am not on either team and I think there is ample evidence in the thread to prove it - evidence I already trotted out once when timmer accused me of being on team BR. Tell me which one, I'll show you why you are wrong. Ninja might well be bad, I'm certainly not. You won't even be able to pin jekyll on me if you lynch me. There won't be any doubt.

Me being bad doesn't check out.

Oh, by the way, you still haven't answered what I really want to know from you.

Your "explanation" of why I am bad is nothing more than nitpicky semantics and the whole Day 0 subject line caused by Sloonei's original post; it completely disregards (no, doesn't even address) vote record. You want so badly to catch me being bad, but this isn't the game, sir. Seriously, what team are you trying to pin me on? The one where I threw two teammates under the bus, or the one where I nearly lynched a teammate Day 1 for fun and later voted him out? I've explained this. I don't know what's hard to understand, or why logic is being thrown out the window in favor of trying to "catch" me at something that's not there.

This is blatantly false. Look back at my posts - I'm actually surprised at how much interaction I've had with Golden, playful and non-playful, even if it's rather one-sided (my commenting and mostly agreeing with his analyses). And considering how much little interaction I have with a variety of individual players in the thread (as in, back and forth), this is no evidence. There is no evidence. You are wasting time and deduction on a civ.

I wish I were the singer. I only made my singing comment because I'm conforming to the theme. Thought the singer was dead because I lost track of the timestamp, since it still read Day 8, and I thought for some reason offhand that the last lynch was the night kill.

No coffee and no sleep makes Jack a dull boy.

You know what I have noticed from Epi 2.0? And I apologize if this is just the normal Epi- I don't know how he normally styles his plays- but he one is the biggest nitpicker I've ever seen in one of these games.

It's very interesting, because he sometimes has some thoughtful and thorough posts explaining his suspicions, with evidence in posts and behaviors.

But then he sometimes has vague shotgun posts. Jumping on the word "interesting". Formatting for ninja about quoting Day 0. Formatting ninja again about...well, I don't even know what she formatted wrong. Does that really matter? It seems like he's McCarthying certain points in order to frame a bigger, irrelevant picture. He'll just kind of...say absolute statements as if they're fact, and usually won't back them up with anything particularly tangible.

I did when I started...life's just got crazy. I'l play a game with you soon where I can actually dedicate time! :)
