INH, you will shit when you're wrong about me, and then you can eat your own sarcastic responses. :p

Mongoose, you STILL have posted more than a few times and yet failed to refuse how my behavior is even "weird" and how weird = baddie. Good luck getting yourself out of a lynch tomorrow. ;)

Boogs, I just honestly thought Dom made a good point and you had struck me as possibly insincere at the time I made my post, even though they were minor, and I didn't really have those feelings about anyone else at the time. It was a pretty crappy vote, but it was either that or miss the vote. Since catching up, you've made me feel much better about you.

Honestly, I'm shocked that I've been lynched on such a weak case. The only point raised against me with any merit whatsoever is the fact that there was no NK last night and I clearly wasn't around, but that's very easily debunked regardless (I would have made the PM if I were bad; someone could be setting me up, and considering Mongoose really wanted to get me lynched, there you go).

At the end of the day, apparently I was the sacrifice that the game demanded, but I hope it will open a lot of your eyes to what's going on because Mongoose hasn't contributed any actual game-related content to suspecting me beyond saying I'm "weird", "odd", or "strange", despite what she or INH purports.

It's disappointing to get knocked out early AGAIN, but I suppose since I'll be hosting Fight Club soon and I only have four weeks left in Cincinnati, my schedule wouldn't be super great anyway. Thanks for the game, Llama! :)

Oh, and votes Mongoose. Who knows, maybe I still have a chance to live, but it seems incredibly, incredibly remote.

I don't need to address your points. They're all based on conjecture and they're ridiculous. You refuse to address how weird = bad in all of your content. I can't fathom how you think there's any legitimate point raised against me other than the one I stated above.

I definitely don't think you're baddie though.

YOU’RE SO SQUARE
Image

Amulets used to propel evil have an important place in the magical tradition, and one of the most powerful amulets is what is known as a Magic Square.

Pure mathematics, transcending as they do the material realm, have always been thought to have special powers. A Magic Square consists of an equal number of rows and columns filled with unique numbers, such that every row, column, and the two main diagonals, add up to the same number. (if this is confusing, PM me and I'll clarify.)

Your assignment for tonight is to populate a magic square and PM it to me. The example above is 3x3, which is easiest, but higher numbers of rows and columns will be accepted. A correctly made amulet will serve as a valuable protection.

It was too late for any such amulet to protect MovingPictures07, however.

MovingPictures07 has been lynched. He was Eliphas Levi.
You have 24 hours to submit your PMs and entries to the Magic Square assignment.

Eliphas Levy may appear to be Aliester Crowley today, but that would be misleading. It appears that the Sock ws as he said, not evil. You may need to go back to the drawing board. Just becasue she was wrong, however, does not make Mongoose evil. Sometimes things are not what they seem, but sometimes they are.

Well shucks! I missed the vote! Sorry about that! I was off work today, and spent a longer amount of time hanging out with friends than I had thought I was going to. I figured I would be home in time to vote, but that wasn't the case unfortunately. Honestly, MP's case was enough that I'm going to take a look at Mongoose for tomorrow's vote. I want to read up on some other things myself though.

Mongooses Stars, Day 4:

With Pluto (Jeanne Dixon rocks it old school, once a planet, always a planet) in your house of Violence, there may be danger ahead for you, but there does not have to be. If your adversaries have Venus in their house of Suspicion, they might see that a lone baddie Mongoose would not be likely to make bold statements. The upcoming influence of the Weasel constellation might also lead them to see how you may have jumped to the conclusion that you did.

That is very true. All will be revealed eventually. I'd be way lower on the radar if I was the remaining baddie on a team. Just don't jump to a Mongoose vote too easily, because you will be sad again and two wrongs don't make a right and other trite adages.

CRYPTOZOOLOGY
Image

Cryptozoology is not strictly a form of occultism, but typically refers to the search for non-magical animals undiscovered by science. However, there is some overlap, when these animals are believed to exist on planes other than the physical one.

For example, the vampire myth is believed to have originated from the “old hag” phenomenon, where people from all cultures awake in the middle of the night feeling as though the life is being sucked out of them. When resulting in death, this is referred to as Sudden Unexplained Nocturnal Death Syndrome (SUNDS). There is no medical explanation at present.

Werewolves were never really thought to be the product of physical transformations, but a sort of etheric representation of an animal summoned and controlled by a witch or wizard via an out of body experience.

Fairies and other forms of sprite were etheric beings whose diminishing presence in the world is explained by the rise of industrialization and widespread use of metals. Iron, as well as silver, are believed to disrupt the connection between the etheric and physical planes.

Most experiences with angels and demons are also thought to come from interplanary contact, all of which falls vaguely within the realm of cryptozoology. The communication with both angels and demons is one of the chief aims of many forms of magic, as will be seen presently.

I'm not sure what Chronozon awakening means, and if that's a good or bad thing. But I probably won't be awake much longer (waking up for work at 3:45 in the morning does not make for a very exciting, active day afterwards), so I'll try and contribute a bit more tomorrow.

Choronzon /ˌkoʊˌroʊnˈzoʊn/ is a demon or devil that originated in writing with the 16th-century occultists Edward Kelley and John Dee within the latter's occult system of Enochian magic. In the 20th century he became an important element within the mystical system of Thelema, founded by Aleister Crowley, where he is the Dweller in the Abyss,[1][2] believed to be the last great obstacle between the adept and enlightenment. Thelemites believe that if he is met with proper preparation, then his function is to destroy the ego, which allows the adept to move beyond the Abyss of occult cosmology.

Are we properly prepared?

I feel like S~V~S is being genuine. I could be wrong of course, but isn't that almost always the case.

Could Mongoose be pretending to be cursed with her haiku talk so we will look at other players? If I were in her position (after the MP lynch) I would do the same thing. Thoughts?

I don't think she's pretending to be cursed. Anyway, it's not like posting in haikus is a curse that completely impedes communication. It's not the kind of curse that would completely dissuade me from looking at and possibly voting for her. I am confident in her capability to respond and contribute in haiku form. So Mongoose, do you have more to say in response to MP's case? Because you're the closest I have to a suspect right now.

I certainly did say that, then she became involved. And with only one baddie left, I felt what Mongoose was saying had some merit.

You find that people changing their minds makes them bad?
