nutella was someone who communicated with me quite a lot in the game re: game mechanics and other players (if you ISO her and search dunya, you'll see what I mean), and endured my wrath later in the game, and was a spectator of Epi's shit flinging my way (and posting other things at the same time that was happening, so she wasn't at all MIA). As such, I find it very hard to believe she actually feels good about me without context whatsoever. A civ nutella would be a lot more wary of me, for all her waffly waffling excuses, she sure is set on town reading me. Does that strike you as normal? She gave me a dark green town read; me her biggest opposition, because it makes it easier for her because she has no case against me to push for my lynch. I'm not an easy person to lynch, despite what happened in MK, so she's not going to put herself out there opposing me and people who trust me and bringing more attention to herself. It's a method of selfdefence and blending imo, if I take it into account with everything else I suspected her for and not as an individual ping, and I didn't like it.

If the roles are public anyway, I don't see why it matters after the fact. Perhaps they should wait and see if other roles claim what they did first, but where's the harm?

Dr. White is my top suspect. Iron_Dwarf is a pet suspect. They are unrelated. I don't have the time right now to provide a substantive case, but I may later tonight. Succinctly: I see a number of reads he has made which only barely qualify as "reads". Either no concrete stance is taken or a stance is supported with total vagueness. There's a lot of potential for fake hunting.

what possible benefit is there to redirecting a power that is only useful if it targets specific roles? elfire does basically nothing unless it hits like one of like... six different players.

I would say the true utility is limited beyond disrupting the plans of whoever is misdirected.

I am 100% town, and would like to look town. Seeing you post that about Marmot made me realize that that could be a ping and I had just done it. Townies appearing like they are doing scummy things causes mislynches. I do not want to be mislynched because I am town.

I targeted TSP, the mod said my target is from Goodguyia. TSP claimed to be from Badguyia. I know it's crazy, but my first reaction was: why is he lying. Second was to laugh and wonder if TSP was a "godfather" and didn't know it and outed himself as the first person from Badguyia when I said scum might do this as a strategy to appear civ, but...what a scum slip that would be.
