Darkness or not Mac is seeing things clearlyMacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 8:46 pm I know that DDL tried to explain that he feels like there are differences. There ARE differences. I still fail to see how someone could arrive at a Tranq is civ and INH is lynchable because the differences are not stark enough.
But, DDL got upset so he's probably civ eh.
He’s my preferred option. I do not dislike any of the three wagons we’ve got going.
I dunno man I'm just here so I don't get fined.Sloonei wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:10 pmHow confident are we that Tranq is bad?DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:10 pm IDK Guys this game is wild

The utter betrayal on this lad.
Any of these lynches are fine. Sloonei hasn't had suspects he has cased lynched yet in this game and he has shown a sound scumdar so far based on the Juliets flip. Just playing the hot hand.
Why?
Less willfully bad? Explain pleaseSloonei wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 8:56 pmThis is where I’m at on INH. Tranq has been less willfully bad and I share some of your reservations about lynching him. I still see it as possible that he’s just playing a weird game. I don’t think he’s an awful lynch choice, but he’s comfortably in third place on my list of preferences among our three candidates today.Dragon D. Either that or actual jester. Not sure.
Okay now say these exact words again but in response to my post.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:16 pmAny of these lynches are fine. Sloonei hasn't had suspects he has cased lynched yet in this game and he has shown a sound scumdar so far based on the Juliets flip. Just playing the hot hand.
More specifically explain why being less *willfully* bad means he's *less* likely to be mafiacolonialbob wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:16 pmLess willfully bad? INH appeared to scum slip and is now begging for votes. If Tranq has done anything on that level, I must have missed it.colonialbob wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:16 pmLess willfully bad? the really fucking ironic thing is that I actually have a civilian win condition.colonialbob wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:14 pmAnd yet they're providing the civ voice of reason

duckin' lynch me, you cowards.
I can’t do that because I don’t think that’s the case. I just meant to say that there’s more ambiguity to Tranq’s behavior. I feel like he very easily could be bad, but I have not played with him before and do not have a clear sense of what he’s doing right now. That doesn’t mean I see no reason to suspect him.colonialbob wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:17 pmMore specifically explain why being less *willfully* bad means he's *less* likely to be mafiacolonialbob wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:16 pmLess willfully bad? I feel pretty good about it tbh. The push on INH today has certainly not dissuaded me.Sloonei wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:08 pm I do not suspect DDL. I share many of the same viewpoints he has expressed. I think he’s been a strong voice in the thread from Day 0. I disagree with the suspicion which is being brought against him right now, but I appreciate that it exists. My read is not settled but I’m comfortable with it and not convinced by anythinf that’s being said now.

My role in the previous version was a secret indie that needed to get 50 votes cast against me during the game. I had some protections, lynchproofs and stuff and I was also able to send the alignment of any player to a random other player every night. Once I got 50 votes I just became a survivor.

If Quin was off the poll and you had to cast the deciding vote between INH and Tranq who do you vote for and why?Sloonei wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:20 pmI can’t do that because I don’t think that’s the case. INH, meanwhile, is advertising himself as a lynch candidate. His play today is 100% WIFOM.
Ok. That's enough for me. My views on Tranq was more baddie based so I'll move my vote. I think you've provided a possibleexplanation for this.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:24 pmMy role in the previous version was a secret indie that needed to get 50 votes cast against me during the game. I got the 50 votes and then was killed for NO FUCKING REASON by the stupid mafia.
Yin and/or Yang?insertnamehere wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 7:45 pm Rows and flows of angel hair

So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way
I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all

I get more of a confused vibe from the thread right now. We’ve got a player kamikazeeing and another player who seems to want us to think he lied. It’s an unusual situation.
Baddies could certainly use that confusion to their advantage but I don’t know that I see a big push being orchestrated right now.
Pretty sure we lynched The Darkness on day 1 in A World Reborn.timmer wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 9:31 pmI remember that the darkness was bad news in previous games... how was it killed?MacDougall wrote: ↑Fri Dec 14, 2018 3:53 pm Anywho I got darknessed so my win con is gone or some shit which is basically the goofiest thing ever so I am just gonna chaos post now.

INH. I think we’re going to have to deal with him eventually.
