And why wouldn't they have checked Made or Enrique since both have been topic for discussion for some time now. That way they would know how to play it. You decided for a balls to the wall approach - which is pure Epi.
Damned if I do, damned if I don't. I get it. But I didn't use "WIFOM." I used math and then I asked which scenario was more likely. You didn't answer my question. And I didn't expect you to. And you voted for Made and found a flimsy excuse to do it.

You're afraid of me. As you well should be.
zeek wrote:Epig, could election say you're not a robot for the lie detector.
No problem.

I've had one opportunity (literally one) to lie detect a statement, and I know how difficult it is to find a checkable statement. I am not a role checker, nor am I on a team with a role checker. That is a complete sentence that should be okay to be checked.

Voted Rexel 4.

If I die tonight, please consider my thoughts on MP and Dana. I believe they could both be Made's teamies.

That...was an interesting lynch. I'm still not sure how or why people seemed so worried about it during the lynch period itself, like they knew it would turn out like that (I know I didn't see it coming, but then again, I haven't had the time/energy/small enough group to stay in the thread to speculate like I could for Clue. Ah, Clue, how I miss you). Of course, the result is concerning, but it certainly doesn't change my mind about Made. I don't buy his argument, and I'm inclined, like many others, to believe that a Civ wouldn't vote for himself/herself in the manner that Made did.

For the record, and at the risk of making MP more mad (sorry, MP! Anger is not my goal here), but I agree that you've been all over the place this game, and it would be very convenient for you to be able to go back and retract any sour vote for a Civ by going back to a random speculation made in the game. I've tried to follow you, but you haven't been consistent, and that makes me feel iffy about you now.

Damn all of you voting way before me and making me the tail end (I'd vote earlier in the day, but my work computer has a Russian porn virus that likes to pop up when I'm on any other site but Google. Two weeks and counting waiting for the tech people to fix that shit). Anyway, I don't care if I'm the tail end - I'm voting Rexel 4 because I'm teaching Macbeth and my kids just did research on witchcraft today (and, subsequently, a student's phone decided to vibrate uncontrollably for no reason after he learned about the Macbeth--I mean, Scottish Play curse). Got witchcraft on the mind, love the Shakespeare Code, and as several people have pointed out, it has no clear connection to any baddie team that we know of.

There. Now, to finish assembling this apple tart.

This MP being Made's teammate shit is such crap. I can't wait for it to fall apart and for Enrique especially to be shown for the liar he is this game, flipping on me as blatantly as he has.

Seriously lynch me tomorrow. At this point, I seriously believe it will benefit the civvies more than anyone.

No, I wasn't. I was trying to convince people that there appeared to be three legitimate possibilities for Made's behavior, even if I thought one of them was most likely (the Dalek one).

I'm sorry, I realize I may come across as incredibly frustrated, but it's probably because I am frustrated as hell right now. I am completely stressed out because of my PhD workload this week, which includes plenty of GRA assignments, a 15+ page research paper, two midterm exams, seemingly never-ending quantitative economics homework, and 30+ hours of empirical accounting research to read.

Not to mention the fact that I'm being suspected heavily for supposed connections to Made which are absolutely untrue and I just don't have the time or the motivation to defend against anymore. I've been practically defending myself constantly all game AGAIN, as it happens practically every full game I play.

All the more reason I say just lynch me and get it over with so I can focus on real life, which is more important, as amazing as this game is, and finally stop talking about me being bad because it's not true. Just promise me you'll lynch Enrique after me, please and thank you.

In case I die tonight, which I don't think is likely, but still wanna be prepared for the worst. Keep in mind how MP and Made's last second votes created a wide margin between us, a wide enough margin that I wouldn't get automatically lynched and Made wouldn't immediately be outed as bad.

Seconds before the poll ended, it was 12-11 to Made. If we tied, a coin flipped, and I got lynched, Made would have been outed. MP needed to change his vote so that wouldn't happen, or maybe he was afraid of somebody coming in last second and tying up the poll. Them both voting at the last second makes it look like poor coordination: MP would have been freaking out the deadline was there and Made hadn't voted, or vice-versa.

This fits perfectly with MP's last second vote to save Made in Day 3. I honestly never thought the Snow Dog case was a save, but I'm beginning to have doubts about MP and Dana (not to mention MM's dodgy behavior), and it just happens to fit in perfectly with the events of Day 4.

MP thinks that because I've turned on him "I'm bad as fuck," but put yourself in my position. I haven't been defending MP and Dana all game because I had any sort of info, but because I found myself agreeing with their points a lot and found myself in similar positions. But that doesn't mean shit. I'm being played and set up for a lynch. The Monty Python endgame (which I obviously can't talk about in detail) also has me wondering about my propensity to trust in players that I can agree with. I've been a crappy civvie thus far in the game, and I'm not gonna pin that on anybody else, but I shouldn't trust people so easily.

MP and Made have to be bad, and while I'm less sure about her, the Dana connection comes naturally. I'll make sure to get a better read on her if I still can tomorrow.

linki- You were also a leading lynch candidate going into Day 4, but then you decided to go MIA and the votes were completely split between me and Made. Sorry, man, I don't believe you.

Let's do it. Sig bets are an awful way to try to get sympathy and steer the lynch away from you, but yeah why not :p

I think we've agreed about a fair number of things. I didn't spend so long defending you for nothing. We were together in the juliets and Snow Dog lynches, defended some of the same players. I'm unsure what went down on Day 4 because I'm not caught up yet, but I have no class tomorrow so it will definitely be a mafia day. I am not Made or MP's teammate. I defended MP because I believe he is good, and I do not want good people to die. I defended Made slightly, but I've been pretty unsure about him, and I have also been saying he's acting odd.

Night 4: Carrionite Carrion

With no bloodshed the previous day, several players turned their rage onto Made and Enrique. But there was no more that could be done about it for now. For now, they had to rest. And rest they would need, for what they would need to accomplish the following day.

Zeek was mumbling to himself, tired of not being able to speak properly. He had so many good ideas and thoughts he wanted to share too! As these thoughts were racing in his mind, preventing him from being able to sleep, it suddenly dawned on him that he was a bit thirsty. He went to reach for his glass of water on the nightstand next to his bed, and took a long, hearty swig. He laid the glass back down....and began to twist and contort as if suffering from a seizure. Then he suddenly felt a strong, burning sensation, as if he were on fire. He screamed a blood-curdling scream of pain, and then suddenly, his body went limp and lifeless. In the bit of light peering into the room, a Cyberman emerged, stared at zeek's body briefly, and then quietly exited the room. The upgrade had failed, but an alternative solution had proved just as effective as far as the Cybermen were concerned.

Strax was primed and ready. He had failed with his first attempt to kill, but would not fail again. So long as he could help it. He decided he needed a late-night snack. He got out of bed and went to find a fridge somewhere in the TARDIS. And given just how big it really was on the inside, he figured it had to have a working refrigeration unit located somewhere inside. He finally found one, but Made was already going through and ransacking it for food. Strax inquired, "I say, what are you doing, ma'am? Taking ALL the food?" Made turned around with a confused look on his face, "Ummmmm....pretty sure I'm a male, n00b." Strax was incensed by this insult, as well as Made's greedy paws hoarding so much of the late-night snacking. "I must kindly ask you to put the food down at once or be destroyed as humanely and painfully as possible!" Made cried out, "Never! Come on and have some then, bitch!" As Made went to draw a weapon, he did not count on Strax's Sontaran reflexes kicking in. Strax happened to draw just a bit faster and shot Made right in between the eyes. As Made crumpled over, Strax thought, "Well, enough of that for now. I shall burn your remains and take the food for myself. Thank you kindly, ma'am." He set off to make himself something to appease all the hard work he had gone through of murdering someone. It's a hard day's work after all.

The remaining members of the group arrived on Rexel 4, and were almost immediately swarmed by Carrionites upon exiting the TARDIS. One of them approached the group and stated, "You have done well to make it this far. In fact, so well that we're going to create...a little game. Yesssss, a game. We have determined that there are two words of power that we will involve in today's lynch. Speak one of the words, and you will receive a great blessing. Speak the other one, however, and certain disaster could befall you."

Zeek has been killed by The Cybermen.

Made has been killed by Strax.

It is now Day 5. You have 48 hours to lynch someone. If you mention one of the two trigger words today, you will be notified at the beginning of Night 5 what your outcome is.

zeek, I just have to say it was an incredible pleasure playing with you on your first game here, and I really enjoyed your company, and thanks for realizing my intentions, even if we got off to a bad start. :p You played REALLY well and you fought admirably for the civvie cause. I look forward to the next game, buddy.

Now, for the record, I am a civvie. I swear on my sig bets with both keys and Enrique that I am. I'm just really stressed out RL and lately having a really hard time dealing with being in defense mode, especially with Enrique blabbering nonsense (no offense :p). I know that sounds odd, but I really think my flip will provide more good than harm at this point. Trust me, I've thought about this. It's not a simple sacrifice. I have assessed that this needs to happen and it needs to happen now. There's no trick. I promise all of you.

I'd prefer that I go today... but I won't argue against an Enrique lynch either.

It's not purely an RL move, trust me. If it were, I would have asked to be replaced. I have every intention of fulfilling my duties this game. I just am simultaneously proving a point (and providing information), confirming my civvieness, and I promise the damage will be minimal.

Anyone can see that I'm an inevitable lynch candidate, and I've thought about it a lot, and I need to go now. Not later.

Just read the night post.

RIP Zeek, a truly upstanding citizen. You will be missed.

Made, on the other hand: hopefully Strax was right in killing you.

Dylan, you might be able to answer this. "The upgrade had failed" before the Cybermen killed zeek? What does that mean?

It's not purely an RL move, trust me. If it were, I would have asked to be replaced. I have every intention of fulfilling my duties this game. I just am simultaneously proving a point (and providing information), confirming my civvieness, and I promise the damage will be minimal.

Anyone can see that I'm an inevitable lynch candidate, and I've thought about it a lot, and I need to go now. Not later.

Linki: Dom, I have my reasons. Just trust me on this.
How many baddies have we actually, definitely killed? And you want to go tossing yourself away? RL aside, I don't think that's a good move.
