Explain to me what this means, because I think you lost me.Metalmarsh89 wrote:
At this moment, I would vote MP.
I don't like his claim to be playing his town meta. It sounds like he's got a good amount of awareness of what he is doing in the thread if he can make that claim.
Nah.Enrique wrote:@Hosts: Do Gordon/Bullock/Montoya need to be alive to win?
First off, I can't emphasize enough that it's NOT a defense to the accusations against me. Typhoony asked me what was lolworthy, and that was the first part of my answer to what is lolworthy. He wasn't asking for me to defend against any accusation.Metalmarsh89 wrote:MP, how does your behaviour this game match your town meta? Also, why is this your defense to the accusations against you?
You make me tear my hair out, Enrique. An independent CAN'T be mafia. The inmates ARE CLEARLY not mafia. That's my point. If they aren't mafia, they MUST be independents. They can win with the mafia. They can win with the town. This is the definition of independent. Whether or not they are bad and it is worth the town killing them is irrelevant. Would we say an independent Serial Killer is bad? Every time. Doesn't mean they are not independent.Enrique wrote:This post makes no sense, lol. "Indies" can be Mafia now? Jeesh. "Just because an indy is bad does not make him mafia." But... I don't understand, isn't that an argument against Zebra? When did I say anything like that?Golden wrote:No, zebra is deciding when they are MAFIA and when they are indys.Enrique wrote:It's such a pointless convo really because we lynch whoever we get, but Zebra is just arbitrarily deciding when they are baddies and when they are indies.
This isn't hard to understand.
Both mafia and indys can be 'baddies'. Just because an indy is bad does not make him mafia.
You guys have a very loose definition of "facts."
Dom, I'm glad that you've clarified this, because this is something I hadn't seen in any of your prior posts expressing suspicion of me. I have a few follow-up questions for you if you don't mind answering them, in order to engage you in your suspicion of me.Dom wrote:It's okay.. Who don't you think is bad?Black Rock wrote:I would have liked to vote for Dom, as he sounds like baddie Dom to me, but I guess I'll vote for Nero. If you're right Enrique, then I will help keep him alive. I do not think he's bad.
Matt. Sorry I went to bed before this post
I agree with this 100%, but I'm not sure why Epig's actions are relevant in a game where he is hosting.Black Rock wrote:I agree Epig would rather save his team then throw them to the wolves. As a teammate he actively tries to give you advice to survive. He's more loyal team first kinda guy. I enjoy being on his team.
Additionally, MP, I don't like your claim that you're playing your town meta. That pinged me. I'm not reading either town or your baddie persona that I associate you with (at least internally-- however wrong I may be). I am seeing something in between. Maybe you're not Nero's teammate (there is some evidence to point to that), but I'm not thinking you are civ.
I think I somewhat misrepresented what I was trying to say in my post regarding "town meta", given both you and MM have asked for specifics. Refer to my answer to MM for my answer, but to elaborate, it's really just that I feel like I'm very evidently not playing my mafia game that I find it odd that people are suspecting me as being mafia. I suppose that's the nature of the game though.Dom wrote:MP, what parts of your town meta do you think you've represented?
The nero lynch was an amazingly open-minded one. People are really listening and thinking this game.MovingPictures07 wrote:The Hosts pretty much implied that it's unlikely I'll be replaced at this point and that I should stick it out. So what am I to do, now, that I've made actions that are seemingly suspicious, don't have adequate time to keep playing even at the level I played this past weekend, and people are being closed-minded?
Explain this to me. Maybe I'm missing something (it's very possible, in fact), but it seems to me half (estimation) of the votes on Nero were unsubstantiated/bandwagony votes.Golden wrote:The nero lynch was an amazingly open-minded one. Really? It seemed like a lot of the voters were mindlessly bandwagoning. I'd bet that at least one of Nero's teammates voted for him.Golden wrote:The nero lynch was an amazingly open-minded one. I'm not worried about your tone, but I think your feelings on what the game has been is inaccurate, probably because you are still dwelling on what day zero was and haven't been able to keep up since then. There is a metric tonload of content that isn't just two people going back and forth. Sure, there is no JJJ like isoing of every player going on, but there are people making good cases on others.MovingPictures07 wrote:I apologize to the hosts and to everyone if my content or tone at any point in this game has frustrated any of you. I've just been battling staying current with this sheer amount of content, which normally I'd be insanely giddy about. It's definitely better than no one playing the game, so I applaud those of you that have really gotten your heads into this one. I just haven't managed that quite yet, but I hate to be a downer, so -- again, if I have been one, that makes me feel terrible and I want to apologize for it.
Scandalous!MovingPictures07 wrote:Hey Golden, or anyone else who's around, do you want to play the rainbow game with me? Maybe that'll help me update some opinions on folks.
And by "rainbow game", I mean, let's just simultaneously show each other our rainbow lists. :P
But I'd rather play the GTH game. That's a ton of fun.

Why those four, and why equally?Enrique wrote:This is the most pro-Arkham thing I've said the whole game but you have to shit on it anyway. What exactly did I do wrong?
linki- ooof there's so many names. Serious though, I'd be completely fine with any of you/Zebra/sig/sabie.
It's possible you're right, but I haven't really seen it. And I don't mean to say there hasn't been any meaningful content, that's definitely not the case. I just think most of it has been back and forths, from what I've been able to absorb.Golden wrote:I'm not worried about your tone, but I think your feelings on what the game has been is inaccurate, probably because you are still dwelling on what day zero was and haven't been able to keep up since then. And the nero wagon wouldn't have happened at all but for open-mindedness. Sure, there were a whole lot of votes you might consider mindless bandwagoning, but wouldn't the closed minded have just finished off Matt when he had a big lead, and was flooding the thread? Instead, we listened and turned it around and actually got a baddie.
Because you started criticising zebra again for calling them independents, and started saying 'they weren't independent until golden said they were', when the question of whether or not they are independent is not a subjective one, it is a fact.Enrique wrote:I've never called them Mafia Golden I don't know why you keep pushing this.

It was OT kind of. Just noting how you cited your sources (3) etc and the general tone of the post.MovingPictures07 wrote:Is this an OT kind of comment, or is it affecting your read of me? I'm not 'pushing' it. I'm trying to get across to someone a mechanical fact that they seem incapable of comprehending. That someone who can win with either side is an independent, regardless of how much the civs might want to lynch them.MovingPictures07 wrote:Has anyone considered that the reason Golden keeps pushing the "inmates = independents" is because he's Mr. Freeze?

Fair enough.Enrique wrote:I don't think any of you is civ. I think Zebra and sabie are Nero's likeliest teammates, but I wouldn't rule you out, and I don't find your game so far to be particularly pro-town. You're one of the players I trust least in a game where I'm fine with lynching half the living players, so I'm willing to take my chances.
All of you equally because I'm in no rush to end this.
linki- Golden that's really unnecessary and, guess what, extremely subjective. If you read my argument with Zebra you'll know I had a problem with her defending them. The whole thing started with my saying the majority of the players had reason to be shady or something along those lines. Please don't pull this shit again.
linki2- Golden we all have different win conditions. The "factions" are near worthless when it comes to actually winning the damn game. I'm not playing this to hand it to fucking Gordon alone.
