I don't like his claim to be playing his town meta. It sounds like he's got a good amount of awareness of what he is doing in the thread if he can make that claim.

Mr. Freeze if you take up my offer I'll help you find Montoya and then you let us lynch you and we all win together

Metalmarsh89 wrote:MP, how does your behaviour this game match your town meta? Also, why is this your defense to the accusations against you?
First off, I can't emphasize enough that it's NOT a defense to the accusations against me. Typhoony asked me what was lolworthy, and that was the first part of my answer to what is lolworthy. He wasn't asking for me to defend against any accusation.

Is there an accusation that you or someone else wants my response to?

As to your first question, I just feel like I'm not at all exhibiting any of the behavior normally exhibited when I am mafia, versus when I am town. I don't have anything to prove to you or anyone else, and especially with feeling lost amid the game, I feel my attitude has been significantly different than when I'm mafia and feel I have to convince everyone I'm town. Does that make sense?

No, zebra is deciding when they are MAFIA and when they are indys.

This isn't hard to understand.

Both mafia and indys can be 'baddies'. Just because an indy is bad does not make him mafia.
This post makes no sense, lol. "Indies" can be Mafia now? Jeesh. "Just because an indy is bad does not make him mafia." But... I don't understand, isn't that an argument against Zebra? When did I say anything like that?

You guys have a very loose definition of "facts."
You make me tear my hair out, Enrique. An independent CAN'T be mafia. The inmates ARE CLEARLY not mafia. That's my point. If they aren't mafia, they MUST be independents. They can win with the mafia. They can win with the town. This is the definition of independent. Whether or not they are bad and it is worth the town killing them is irrelevant. Would we say an independent Serial Killer is bad? Every time. Doesn't mean they are not independent.

BR, I am having a really hard time wrapping my head around this post. You will help keep who alive? Who don't you think is bad?

Matt. Sorry I went to bed before this post
It's okay.. I thought you were saying Nero and got really confused.
Black Rock wrote:I agree Epig would rather save his team then throw them to the wolves. As a teammate he actively tries to give you advice to survive. He's more loyal team first kinda guy. I enjoy being on his team.
I agree with this 100%, but I'm not sure why Epig's actions are relevant in a game where he is hosting.

Additionally, MP, I don't like your claim that you're playing your town meta. That pinged me. I'm not reading either town or your baddie persona that I associate you with (at least internally-- however wrong I may be). I am seeing something in between. Maybe you're not Nero's teammate (there is some evidence to point to that), but I'm not thinking you are civ.
Dom, I'm glad that you've clarified this, because this is something I hadn't seen in any of your prior posts expressing suspicion of me. I have a few follow-up questions for you if you don't mind answering them, in order to engage you in your suspicion of me.

1) Have you felt that way (that I'm not reading town or baddie) the whole time you've been suspecting me, or only recently?
2) If I'm not reading town or baddie, then what do you propose I most likely am, an inmate? If so, why would you want me dead specifically? Can you explain this train of thought a bit more?
3) Why did my claim ping you?

I think I somewhat misrepresented what I was trying to say in my post regarding "town meta", given both you and MM have asked for specifics. Refer to my answer to MM for my answer, but to elaborate, it's really just that I feel like I'm very evidently not playing my mafia game that I find it odd that people are suspecting me as being mafia. I suppose that's the nature of the game though.

Hey sig, whenever you show up, I just remembered something I meant to ask you earlier that I saw when I was catching up. You asked Golden for your opinion on me during Day 2 on two nonconsecutive occasions, as well as other players (from what I recall), after I voted for you. What do you think of me, exactly, and why do you put so much stock in others' opinions of me, particularly Golden?

Explain this to me. Maybe I'm missing something (it's very possible, in fact), but it seems to me half (estimation) of the votes on Nero were unsubstantiated/bandwagony votes.

I'm not worried about your tone, but I think your feelings on what the game has been is inaccurate, probably because you are still dwelling on what day zero was and haven't been able to keep up since then. And the nero wagon wouldn't have happened at all but for open-mindedness. Sure, there were a whole lot of votes you might consider mindless bandwagoning, but wouldn't the closed minded have just finished off Matt when he had a big lead, and was flooding the thread? Because you started criticising zebra again for calling them independents, and started saying 'they weren't independent until golden said they were', when the question of whether or not they are independent is not a subjective one, it is a fact.

I keep pushing this, Enrique, because if I can't get you to understand that the inmates are independents there is no hope for the children of the future. :p

Is this an OT kind of comment, or is it affecting your read of me? Either way, I'm curious about it. :p
It was OT kind of. Just noting how you cited your sources (3) etc and the general tone of the post.
Oh, okay. I don't know, maybe you're right. :llama:

I'm not 'pushing' it. I'm trying to get across to someone a mechanical fact that they seem incapable of comprehending. That someone who can win with either side is an independent, regardless of how much the civs might want to lynch them.

I second Enrique's Mr Freeze idea. Please block 2 of the following... Enrique, Turnip, DH, MP, sig, sabie, or dat Zeebs.

I wouldn't mind being lynched today if that means I can replace MP. I am not Nerolunar's teammate, but I can't argue against that analysis.

Pretty damn good Matt.

And by "rainbow game", I mean, let's just simultaneously show each other our rainbow lists. :P

But I'd rather play the GTH game. That's a ton of fun.
Scandalous!
Show me your rainbow, marmot.
I can't rainbow on my phone tbh.
You owe me a raincheck.
Looks like there might be some rain in San Antonio tomorrow, but then it should be fine for the rest of the week.

I don't think any of you is civ. I think Zebra and sabie are Nero's likeliest teammates, but I wouldn't rule you out, and I don't find your game so far to be particularly pro-town. You're one of the players I trust least in a game where I'm fine with lynching half the living players, so I'm willing to take my chances.

All of you equally because I'm in no rush to end this.

linki- Golden that's really unnecessary and, guess what, extremely subjective. If you read my argument with Zebra you'll know I had a problem with her defending them. The whole thing started with my saying the majority of the players had reason to be shady or something along those lines. Please don't pull this shit again.

linki2- Golden we all have different win conditions. The "factions" are near worthless when it comes to actually winning the damn game. I'm not playing this to hand it to fucking Gordon alone.

Fair enough.

I think I've been pro-town, but none of you know to what extent I have been pro-town. :pout:

@Enrique - we agreed a long time ago that practically it doesn't make a difference. So then why did you start taking digs yesterday at them only being independents because I declared them so, again?

You start throwing mud but then keep proclaiming it doesn't matter to you. But you prove otherwise.

The question of what an independent is, is not subjective. It's really not subjective. You keeping saying it is subjective just proves you don't actually understand what an independent is.

What word would you give to someone who can win with either side? Can mafia win with either side? Can civilians win with either side? The inmates can win with either side. What label would you give them to describe this fact?

I've been pro-town as well but me not wanting to go after a newcomer (which Mac understandably thinks is unusual for me, though it isn't) does look purdy bad after their flip.
