Urist is promising content about the rest of the game. Reading him based on that content seems more likely to be useful than debating the same piece of WIFOM over and over.

i am still getting the sense that this particular pairing is ~too easy~ - but i've been scumleaning urist for a lot of this game so i'm still working out what to do with that feeling
This is my first time playing with Urist and I've had a tough time figuring him out. On the one hand he reminds me a bit of nutella in that he's been chucking out reads on a whim for much of the game, but he differs from her in that nutella usually will then put work in to show her thought process. Urist has done very littl a e of that. That's not inherently suspicious and it's perfectly valid for civilians to play a tight-lipped game... to an extent. That ceases to be productive after a while. I feel a bit like Urist's defense of Chop is his most substantial contribution to the game so far, but idk if that's fair. It might just be recency bias.
Urist wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 8:35 pm
for context, the reason i was pressuring chop to summarize his message is because i thought it was suspicious that spacedaisy was able to pick out the fact that esooa was missing from a reads list.
like if i get a list of 24 people, i'm not checking to make sure each and every one of them is there.
if chop had said something like "i said x, y, z, a, b, c were town and d, e, f, g were mafia and h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, q were null" i would be really suspicious of the daisy/chop potential big brain play.
I thought it was at least partially clear from the context of the conversation around the claim that Daisy had received a limited list of players which should have included Esooa but did not. I do not remember specifics, but it seemed like the focus was on the BoKnows wagon.

Yo, to whoever sent me the message last night, I don't know why I should trust you. See you slipped up and skipped over Esooa in your recap. How did you Esooa was gonna die last night and not be relevant to the conversation? If you were Luke you wouldn't have known. I call bullshit on your message and your attempt to solicit a role claim from me.
she didn't mention anything like that no

I didn't like how you were overreacting about your scumread of Rej. Looking back it actually kind of felt w/w to me as well. You especially made one post about how nobody was looking at you pushing Rej and how it annoyed you that you weren't going to receive credit.
FMPOV whenever people start pushing one of my top mafia reads I get pretty excited to get who I want killed, and instead you had a perspective I don't see from town.

Yeah Sloon I already looked over that trying to figure out if there was some way a town would know that Esooa might die. I couldn't see one so the omission of Esooa among instructions about what I should say about Bo voters looked bad. But Chop's response doesn't look bad.
Ok she did mention it was about bo voters, guess i missed that.
Glad we had this talk

interesting. i think i understand your perspective a little bit more now
for me, it wasn't that i wasn't going to receive credit, it was that i had spent the entirety of d1 ringing sirens about rej, and i felt that i had trouble getting other people to acknowledge my read on him because of the amount of pressure i was under. seeing the momentum swing against him out of nowhere at the end of d1 after i had already been trying to do it made me a bit frustrated/unheard
i'm over it of course, but i hope that clarifies my reaction for you

No, but also yes. Epi's a grown ass adult with a grown ass adult life to live. He's busy running the Game of Champions right now on top of that. He hasn't been going all out in games lately. He almost definitely signed up for this game with the intention of taking it easy.

I have good news and bad news.
The bad news is that Urist and nanook are the same person, and scumreading nanook for not explaining his reads in-depth is silly. Also, scumreading SPF for getting annoyed when people aren't listening to her or acknowledging her viewpoint is silly.
The good news is that I don't see either of those concerns as looking like a wolf cooking up a reason to kill a townie, and I don't think Urist/Sloonei are in the same team, nor do I think DOOM and SPF are in the same team. So DOOM and Sloonei get points from me.

I want to TR Dom and Sloonei tbh since they ping me the least, I like their handeling of the thread and they are town for me until I see how they handle a mislynch or a successful lynch or anything else that occurs throughout the game/C2+ on
Also I am a mislynch bait, I will be afk now until few hours before EoD. Feel free to ask me or involve me into something.
Also take care of @Poison, unmotivated playstyles are part of her scum meta or she is genuinely busy. Feel free to talk to me Poison-chan!
So I am off for now, maybe up for an answer before I finally hit da pillow.
alright I was expecting some sort of read on me, but this isn't a read at all.
@Rej I'm here, let's talk, we played quite few games together right?
wah, 83 posts
what did I miss? suddenly you are available D2
are you town or do you have scumfriends motivating you to be active? healthy scum dynamics keep you active huh I will be more active tomorrow hopefully
I am slanking and busy lmao
also I just figured out that we mislynched last DP and with it we lost another town
one mafia got night killed, nice I have no clue what's up
^^this is the only post that rej has made so far today
i still maintain that it looks like rej is trying to replicate the specific dynamic he has with poison, and that he has no idea what to do outside of that. seems borderline frozen
