I don't, but just because someone doesn't contribute shit, doesn't make him bad. He could be, but in my opinion, more often than not, he's a civ. I think people who appear to be around and doing stuff, yet aren't are more likely to be bad. Hence my willingness to vote MM, or Drac. I think they are trying to seem like they are baddie hunting, when in fact they aren't really.

I'd rather let him be the last baddie standing, because then, in my eyes, even if they win because of that, we are the ones who really won, and I don't care what the official end game is. The challenge for me, when playing mafia, is to figure out who is lying to me and fooling me after doing his best at that. If you followed my Pikmin game, you'd know that this is how I act when bad. There's no challenge in trying to win a player who is not really playing.

idgi, what's the case on Draco? That he had relatively weaker cases on day 0 (duh, everyone does) and has been relatively inactive these last couple days?

I'd be happy to vote for Dom. While even Sorsha I can partially excuse for kick-starting the LoRab run yesterday (golden said it would be her or LoRab to save Jimmy; Sorsha's response was only natural self-preservation), Dom's been coasting and others more familiar with him than I have suspected him for his tone and kinda arbitrary votes. Why can't we do this?

No, and I have no intention of doing so. I don't need to see anything more from tranq to know he is so far down my potential baddie list as to be a non factor for at least several phases. I was speaking to those who seem to think he is a good choice for a lynch just because, even though those who know tranq well are pointing you in the direction that it's nothing to worry about.

@br - I voted mm because I think he is bad. It's not necessarily my final vote.

JJJ's response to me this morning felt genuine and therefore I'm not going to vote for him today. I thought about Tranq but my whole reason for voting him yesterday was to get him to the table. He has now spoken and though I don't much like what he had to say I don't see him as bad for that. I will keep my eye on him but am not ready to vote him yet. I'm going to take a look at MM to see if I agree with Golden's read.

Even if that's true, I think that as bad as my words can sound, jumping on that for a vote is a whole lot more suspicious than what I said. Not to mention that as I said before, the fact I said that if JJJ is bad we should look at his voters didn't diminish the need to look at Lorab's voters in any way. I was just stating what I believe to be the less obvious conclusion.

Well, I don't agree with that at all. Waffling always sounds bad and if Draco was really busy, I could easily imagine a busy civvie seeing a post like that stick out and ping him. Also, Draco didn't even mention LoRab so that's a strawman you're now constructing; when he last checked in before the lynch, it was shaping up to be a Llama vs Jimmy.

I always think to myself, hey, it's the weekend! I'll have loads of time to read and catch up and post original thoughts!

And then two things happen: I find myself in perpetual catch-up hell, where I was diligently caught up the last phase, then checked it yesterday and found like 15 pages added. Now there's about four more added to that. Secondly, I always underestimate how long baking and prepping for said baking will take me, leaving me less time to read through the thread.

So, I'm about to skim and then make a vote before I leave for shenanigans with sangria and cookies and other delicious things, and I apologize for what may be perceived as lazy playing, but I'm overwhelmed by this game and have been since the beginning, and reading has been a chore. I also apologize for what may be perceived as whining :P Be back in a few.

Votes are a lot more spread out this round, which I suppose is good? Makes me less wary. During my read (and really, thinking about the no-lynch situation), I keep flip-flopping on JJJ. On the one hand, he appears as a frustrated civ who's half-given up. At the same time, he kept popping in to make points and (despite what he said upon his return) to defend himself. I'm torn because I don't like to let myself be swindled by tone, but at the same time, the tone's been consistent, and I was doubtful about that in particular yesterday. Ugh. Ugh, I say.

Well, I gotta make a decision, and I do like to make things *interesting*, especially with changeable votes being a factor. Lorab's fallen off the radar more than last phase, so let's give her a vote and see what happens when these votes get a bit closer.
