Spacedaisy wrote:First is INH/Timmer: If I am forced to choose between INH and Wilgy who both seem to think the other is bad, I would choose INH as bad and Wilgy as Civ. Wilgy's behavior reads very much civ to me, and I feel like he was low hanging fruit on Day 1 because he really drove the Day 1 lynch. Timmer's response read angry to me, and INH seems to have a bit of remorse. It looks like he might have placed a distancing vote that bit him in the ass. If Timmer is Kilgrave then he is the logical choice for a distancing vote on Day 1. The thing that really caught my eye though was this kind of innocuous post:

Not really sure how I can respond to this other than saying that my randomization was genuine, even if you don't believe the screenshot. So was my remorse after Wilgy decided to jump on Timmer at the last second.
insertnamehere wrote:Welp. Not really sure what to make of that. Timmer most likely has a power role, not sure if that means anything for his alignment.

Timmer, are you surprised at your pardoning?
The highlighted caught my eye because I found the wording to be off. Most people who don't know why someone didn't die would ask, "Are you surprised you didn't die?" Or perhaps, "Do you know why you didn't die?" But INH jumped straight to pardon, which implies a Civ reason for surviving a lynch usually. Pardoning is most often the mechanic used by a Mayor role. So to me it read like he either pardoned Timmer himself or he wanted to frame it as Civ as possible without defending him. Add in the fact I find his Day 1 behavior to be odd and it brings me to the conclusion there is a possible baddie connection there.
Oh boy. The "he used a specific word that implies that he's a baddie" argument.

To give you an inner working into my vocabulary and word choice, the reason I went with pardoning is because in Mad Max, the other game that I'm playing right now, pardons have been featured very prominently, and usually seem to involve myself. I guess I just had pardons on the brain. I also wanted to give Timmer an opportunity to defend himself because I felt he had been unfairly jumped upon earlier.

If that one word choice means that I must be scum, by all means...

It is.

So, in order to help you guys out, I'm gonna give my reads on everyone. I realize the bandwagon has pretty much run me over already, so I'm gonna just assume I'm screwed and not bother with playing nice.

ASSUMPTIONS I'M MAKING:
1. Timmer = Kilgrave, mainly due to a lack of other options and his uninspiring defense.
2. Wilgy and Epi = Civ due to how Wilgy went after Timmer and Epi went after Timmer. Still absolutely hate the way Epi lead the dumbest lynch train imaginable against Indi.
3. I'm a mislynch, and some of the people ganging up against me know it. I don't care if me accusing the people who are accusing me looks like a NO U or only digging myself deeper into a hole already dug by others. This is the mafia equivalent of a last message. I'm starting off with the assumption that I'm already a goner.

LIST O' READS:

DrWilgy - As much as I dislike most everything he's done this game, if Timmer's bad, Wilgy ain't. Just wish he would stop being hypocritical in regards to acting erratically and expecting it to be ignored and accepted while pouncing on superficially erratic behavior when it comes from anyone else.
Epignosis - :stare: #JusticeforIndi - Another person who causes me to pompously lift my nose in disgust at their unreliable and civ-hostile gameplay. But, same logic applies. Epi is not gonna be on a team with Timmer.
Sorsha - Meh. This is the line of neutrality. Everyone below it has done something that makes me possibly see them as scum.
Elohcin - Don't like her enablement of Epi, and the stupid Day 2 debacle.
Dragon D. Luffy - The only person who isn't blindly rushing to condemn me. That's both a plus and a negative. Obviously, the scum knows that I'm gonna flip civ. So putting all of their eggs into a basket they know is headed for impact seems like a poor choice. His sudden "oh yeah, INH is being railroaded" moment isn't super convincing to me. Then again, he's the only other person not willing to ship me down the river, so that's nice.
Scotty - Blendy bleh meh. Don't really see his case against Elo.
Spacedaisy - Her condemnation of me because I used the word "pardoning" and subjective views of me buddying with Timmer don't ring true. They feel hollow. Looking at the four people who voted for me, logic would dictate that at least one of them is a baddie adding fuel to the fire. Daisy is my biggest choice for that position.
timmer - His patently BS role claim combined with the sorry lack of defense he's offered post Night 2 makes him look pretty guilty in my eyes.

Ruben was some annoying "nice guy" weirdo who had a freaky, incest-y relationship with his sister, and lived in the same building as Jessica Jones. He died at the hands of the main villain in episode four and was generally a very minor character.

Considering the very limited number of power roles, I struggle to think of why Ruben would be one of them and be given invulnerability.

I think Timmer is:

A. Lying to protect a powerful civ role, like Kilgrave, Trish, or Luke
B. Lying to protect his real baddie power role.
C. Lying about knowing why he survived the lynch.

I think C is very unlikely.

With INH "legacy" post it occurs to me that perhaps I am being bamboozled by both wilgy and Spacedaisy. But if we are wrong and INH is in fact good, it might be a moot point anyway if this is as close to LyLo as I think it might be.

I can see a SD/Wilgy combo with timmer's WIFOM vote for Wilgy, but also wouldn't be surprised at a SD/Elo 2.0. She was my first choice of lynch today but figured consolidation was best under the circumstances.

Pretty straightforward. Look you voted Timmer "randomly" on D1. But then when Wilgy throws a vote on him, suddenly you're making a case for him instead. It really looks like you placed a distancing vote and then turned around and latched onto the low hanging fruit on D1 to me. If you can't see why I might think that about your D1 actions, then I don't know what to tell you dude. Call it hollow all you want but it was what struck me as suspicious.

Also this post doesn't clear anything, you called Kilgrave a civ role, which we now know is not at all the case. So you aligned the Kilgrave role with the civ side. Yeah you threw out some reasoning that could cast doubt on him, but I already believed you to be distancing from him, so that doesn't surprise me at all.

Your posts have me doubting what I felt pretty confident about before this, but I am all in already. Sorry if I am wrong, but I voted according to how it looked to me.

I might have waited longer, but this post

Well, Kilgrave is the big bad guy of the series that directly inspired the game, so I thought it was safe to assume he was in the role list and had some sort of powers. Invulnerability could certainly be a part of that.

I no longer wish to change my vote. Let the sword fall.

Linki - I did. I gave you a full 2r hours into this day cycle. I stated I would too. I'm not going to wait till eod (which for some reason is a bad meme).
I'm sorry that I wasn't able to follow your prescribed schedule and prevent you from lynching a civilian.

This is all my fault for not trying hard enough.
Hush, corpse.
