How do you have so much info about your results? I got (my element) plus (another element) is *results*

The name of the person I combined with was not mentioned. Only the elements and the result. You were told specifically that your results involved Epi, and that he was the first to target you?

Has anyone considered that this is an LC/BR game and there are very likely one or more combos that result in target switching and things of that nature? I am not going to presume that the person I targeted and the result I got are 100% related until I get the same result from targeting them again.

No, I PMed a players name. The result I got did not mention that persons name, only two elements. Sorry if I was vague.

Me too, re the people I want to have BTSC with. And I may share results, but I won't share suppositions on other peoples elements since I find it highly unlikely that BR/LC would make a game where it's so easily determined who is who.

And I really am curious about all the info INH apparently got in his results.

I don't think inh got the info in his PM. Reading it back, I think he assumed/implied a bundle that you aren't willing to assume. I think your way of thinking is more aligned with my way of thinking. All I got was element and reaction.

I turned sigs off for work, and for loading time on my tablet. Some sigs are so bloated and huge it was hard to scroll past them at work. Every once in a while I turn them on at home, but they slow my tablet down almost as much as a page full of videos.

I know. This is the problem...

If btsc exists out here, our elements are going to get out. Lets say I target you, and get your element. Then I target someone else, get btsc, and tell them your element. What if them combining with you kills you? And now they have the information they need to do it?

On the other hand, information is how you avoid killing yourself. If I read things correctly, at least one of Dom and G killed themselves through their target, and I'd like to know places where that could happen before I go doing it and offing myself by accident.

It's neat complexity to the game, but it also means that my interests are in keeping information about my own actions very close to my vest.

I'll tell you my hunch - my hunch is that pairs of the same element can btsc. No matter what the element. It's a stab in the dark, but it feels like it lives within the world of game design that has 'water extinguishes fire' in it.

Epi was the first to respond, so I targeted him.

I'm satisfied with my element results, it actually was one of the three I asked about in my initial PM. At least from what I can tell, my element is beneficial to about anyone.

Deadly Reactions

Mediocrates narrowed his eyes - what was Darkness up to? Shifting and slithering, he never fully trusted the black element, sometimes quite visible, but sometimes he wondered if he could see it at all. The Darkness seemed to be coalescing around Spirit, who watched, stoic and serene.

As the two elements mixed and blurred, dark violet tendrils snaked out across the table, striking the hearts of the other elements. Mediocrates could sense the level of wrath becoming slightly elevated, and he knew, on a primal level, that there would be more death today than there might have been. Perhaps not as much as yesterday - those poor flames, burned out so quickly!

The alchemist was so focused on Darkness and Spirit, that he didn't realize that Air and Earth had gotten into a tussle, and before he could react, a dust storm had swirled and spread across much of the table! Coughing and rubbing his eyes, Mediocrates leaned back in his chair, shaking his head and waiting for the storm to subside.

Day 2 has begun! Each player will cast three separate votes in this poll, and the top two voted players will be lynched.

Please feel free to send in your chosen player for tonight's Elemental combination as soon as you like. We discovered that some effects are very useful to be aware of before the Day ends.

This Day will last 24 hours.

Re: speedchuck's btsc situation and the ensuing theories: I would believe that the person who targeted him is Psionic. He seemed to imply that he's not psionic, but I don't necessarily think he implied that he's not the same element as that person, because how would he even know that -- presumably he doesn't know the element of the person who targeted him, he was just given the btsc link -- so Golden's hunch could be true if they're both something other than Psionic. But I think it's more likely that the targeter was Psionic, partially because I know that when my element pairs with Psionic I gain a message sending ability so it would make sense for another Psionic combination to create btsc.
