I voted TonyStarkPrime for reactions.

Big wagons cause more infospreading because it puts someone in spotlight, making that person squirm more while also making others need to justify their stances around said person.
sounds reasonable, I like this thinking even if it risks mislynches

Epignosis just wanted to be sure there is no convenience or sheeping in that vote. Some people might do so for chainreactions.

I don't mind the wagon on Timmer tho.

Also, since you know that you and I aren't teammates and that is the starting point for Epig's vote etc., you are saying that despite knowing that the reasons behind these other votes are incorrect, you are fine with letting a bad case ride, because, again, you don't like that I didn't help you understand the pages that you had already read?

So, by that rationale, if you are fine with letting a case that you and I both know is wrong ride, you would be ok with that same case turning onto you? Since that case is that we are teamies?

I think it’s a very interesting point, but not one about you.

One of our first major topics of conversation was sig’s preemptive meta description. A few people (Dragomir is the one I distinctly remember) got in his face about it.

You did something in the same ballpark, but not exactly the same as what sig did. I would like to hear what those people who complained about sig have to say about you here.

That's the one! No mistake, it's you. I guess heavy punctuation might be an exaggeration, but the cold and distant feeling are still there. Maybe it's the lack of exclamation point lol. Gut feeling was that it is fabricated, I'm not getting your usual energy and enthusiasm. Feels like you're just replicating it to keep up with your usual opening posts.
This is all horseshit.

Hey buzz off. I'm seriously too occupied with real life to deal with being suspected for no reason. Kindly direct your bullshit elsewhere.
Are you too busy to play at all or do you only get to suspect people for that reason?
timmer wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2019 8:21 pm To comment on your post against me, Epig, you did see the part where I said I didn't read Day 0, right? And my post is the 2nd post of day 1, so... there was kind of literally exactly one post for me to comment on :p
Care to comment on literally anything else, or...?

It's late and I'm having bourbon and watching Mike Trout.

Can you simplify your question please?
Me no read Day 0.
Day 1 start.
1 post made.
Me read that.
Me comment on that.

You.
Why he comment on that.

Now you go.
Where at now.
Oh. The timing thing. I find it mildly suspicious still, but it's circumstantial. The conversation it generate in the very least was worth something.
Is rej or timmer more likely bad?

Hey Juliets. It's time for the first impressions :goofp:
Oh no, you know how I hate those. I can't tell squat from a first post.
This is maybe a more subtle version of explaining meta but if we’re judging the lot I think this is just as noteworthy.
Tony I don't understand what you mean by this.

Huh? I have a running complaint with nova that he likes to see first impression reads from people and I am not a believer that that tactic works for me. How is that similar to sig giving a meta read on himself?
Because you are telling us all about your meta.
I noted that. fyi.

juliets-- pick two people you think are teammates, pls. juliets

What Sloonei said.

I have no qualms with what you’re saying here I think it’s probably NAI with maybe a slight scum read on instinct. However a lot of syndicate players including in this game might have a different view and I want to know what they think.
Sig’s meta description I read similarly — NAI with a slight scum vibe. But I think “he described meta” is a lazy argument that takes some very broad points about the ways scum tends to defend themselves and fits it into a nice quantifiable package for easy handling by those who want a cheap argument.

Sure. Also meta. I feel like this is an unnecessarily defensive line from juliets. I’ll upgrade the read to “maybe not town”.

In all seriousness, the thing that grosses me out over that isn't "fellow civilian," but rather the existence of the quotation marks.

The entire exchange doesn't add up, and if timmer is innocent, Rej tipped his hand there.

We can be motivated to believe sig because he might be town. sig's reputation as an easy mislynch candidate is thoroughly documented. Tempering our natural inclination to suspect him for doing sig things on Day 1 feels more wise than jumping down his throat for doing sig things on Day 1.

I have not made an argument for or against the suspicion of sig for his preemptive meta defense. I don't care about it one way or the other. I don't think it makes him look bad, I think it makes him look like sig. I believe this now qualifies as an argument against the suspicion.
Dragomir brought up a point on Day 0. I provided an opposing viewpoint.

Why does this matter so much to you?

Mostly a Tom Brady fan at this point. I don't care too much about football in general, but I grew up watching him and I can't look away now. Baseball's the only sport I follow closely these days.
