This is really gorgeous. I love how it builds in emotional intensity.

Round 10
10. Home - Capture the overwhelming emotions of returning home. Nostalgia that tears you apart, love that brings you hope and comfort.

Carpenters - Yesterday Once More
Getting a real classic old-person-nostalgia feeling from this hahaha. Not in a totally bad way though. Cheesy but effective, though still the kind of thing I get tired of easily.

Homestuck - Thanks For Playing
Alright, I guess this is an ending song and has some sentimentality to it. It's nice.

Persona 5 OST - With the Stars and Us
This is pleasant, though I suspect it would have more impact in the context of the game (even without understanding the Japanese, but probably more with that as well lol). Has the general theme of an emotional ending though.

One Piece OST - To The Grand Line
Wow lots of soundtrack pieces here lol. This one's really cool too. I'm getting that emotional end-of-a-series vibe.

Mating Ritual - Cold (ft Lizzy Land)
Cool sound. I'm really enjoying this. I'm not feeling the strongest category fit from it -- it's there, but could have worked for the "sexy" one as well.

Really pretty, as is the game itself. This has a comforting and nostalgic feel to it for sure.

echolyn - Poem #4 / Too Late For Everything
Mmm this is really cool and unique. Soul-crushing lyrics about a soldier wistfully pining for home, and really nice instrumentation... yeah this works.

The National - Not In Kansas
Hey who subbed The National to me, big pander but ok :P This song is a really complicated but amazing fit for this theme tbh. It's very political and lamenting many current issues in America but in a way that definitely expresses sentimental attachment to what America "should" be as a home. I have a lot of feelings about this song if you couldn't already tell. There is so much going on in the lyrics. I cry every time <3

Feel free to make a new thread if that's easier. Or if you want to keep using this one I can edit in a link to the beginning of yours like we did with SAW.
(Also I keep meaning to organize the results somewhere in my original prompt post in spoilers or something so if anyone wants to go through the backlog it's more organized, I will get to it eventually)

I don't mind making a new thread. Should we continue calling it something no one knows the reasoning behind or change it to something our own?

Anyway, I failed to beat sprityo with a very sprityo song, but I did beat Epi with a very Epi song! I'll take that compromise.
(yes Transistor is great).
