What's good, guys.

Missing Person here. I got referred here by Long Con/juliets/fingersplints from Jesus Toast Mafia.

Been playing mafia a couple years, also been in the GoC last year, and also do quite a bit of GMing over there.

Gonna hang out here a bit too and play with you guys, but probably not until the game I'm going to start running on JTM finishes up.

Hi Missing Person! It's so good to see you here. I'm anxious about playing your game cause I just finished watching the first three champions game. I hope everyone doesn't make the same length posts as I saw in that game! 40 people posting walls of text no way I could keep up!

Hey MP, would you be cool with it if I ran your Ace Attorney game here? I have a few ideas to make it new and unique. For starters it would be a sock puppet game, and Phoenix Wright would be a civ role, and it would be a very uncommon role. If Phoenix dies, Apollo takes his place in the writeups. I would also employ JTM rules such as a very strict leash on missing votes, and no already dead players would be allowed to replace a DQ, which apparently is a thing here.

I'd be giving you syndicate boys a foreign experience for sure but it would be a fun one.

And this is one of the more unique formats of mafia we run, it's really fun. Honestly one of the most fun mafia games you could play IMO.

Why did you want me and Alpha both to run it? Also of have no problem doing that as a ranked game. I just really want to run it here as a sock game because the sock puppet accounts are pretty neat concept. It would really enforce the mystery of not knowing who is who in an Ace Attorney game by removing the Meta of player experience. Plus everybody could be a different character. Like Will Powers or Larry Butz or Lotta Hart.

I meant either/or. I know you've been looking toward GMing at some point, Alpha helped NoodleHead with the write-ups when it was first ran on SRK, and both of you are huge PW heads and would be able to do the write-ups far more justice than I ever could when I ran it.

So either one of you guys could run it and it'd be awesome.

That's a good point; however, it may be more complicated in our case. I just always call them Snowy and Daisy... their names are more easily broken up. :P

I guess you guys could call me Pictures and him Person, but that wouldn't really solve the problem, and being called Pictures is NOT one of the 100 nicknames I've been called over the years (and it just sounds weird).

Pictures is also hard to search for. I hate when people call me fingers or fs for that reason.

I'm sure we will figure something out. Some nickname will be presented and stick... You guys might not like it though

This is cool to me. I went to Jesus Toast Mafia completely randomly through the Champs game, and fingersplints, juliets, and S~V~S all showed up there after I had signed up for the 90's Kids Mafia game that's currently running. Now I come in to see some big names from JTM over here... I hope that this is the start of a beautiful friendship between our two sites that pumps up games on both sites with more players!

That being said... MP07, I feel like it's gotta be time to get the 2015 Poll up for what games are going to get played in what order! I wanna start A World Reborn with some sassy JTM players in the mix!

And I want to break out my Battlestar Galactica - I've been working on the finishing touches.

as far as missing person goes. MovingPictures is Sir Sockadoodledandy , A Person should just be matty matt matt. and missing person can be...um......new guy? For now anyway.

Well, now MovingPictures is on JTM, so we have to think of two ways to abbreviate each other's names distinctively on two different sites.

The MP abbreviation debacle may solve itself anyway, since even though I am called MP, I am also called Sockface, MP07, random other nicknames, Alex, etc., and in some instances we may be able to tell who is being spoken to or about in context.

I guess we will see how it goes!

I definitely think we have the potential for a good cross-site relationship, you guys are doing great on JTM. I think that's one of the better parts of the Championships, is building bridges between sites where we can exchange info and and build bonds that improve the game as a whole.

Funny thing is TGG got interested in mafia on our site through the first GoC even though he was a member of our site way before that (SRK back when we were playing there), and signed up a couple games later and stuck around.

Also, Gamer Dude was in my game in the first GoC, and signed up to JTM during the nomination period of this year's championships.

So this is a great way to build up communities and players. I only really knew of one other Mafia community before the GoC and that was Smashboards; ironically, they were put into my game as well.

We can simply distinguish you by using opposite adjectives. Not sure who is who, you'll have to call dibs. For instance:

Old MP and new MP
Important MP and unimportant MP
Mean MP and nice MP
Loud MP and quiet MP
The MP who sucks and the MP who doesn't suck (Rob from Survivor reference anyone?)

Or, we could just call you by your originating site. That means Missing Person is called Jesus.

I will never forget in the spectator chat for the last game and some folks kept saying MP did such and such, and all I can remember thinking is WTF is going on right now? I haven't done any of that!

Took me a few minutes to realize that they weren't talking about me.

I agree completely.

I've always been very curious about other mafia communities; this Championship has opened up a wide universe to us that we are very excited about. I'm definitely loving branching out and meeting new folks!

JTM MP and TS MP? Or maybe when Missing Person is playing here, I can be MP and he can be JTM MP, and when I'm playing there, he's MP and I'm TS MP or MP07? It's a thought.

As to the others...
I've played mafia since 2010.
I like to think I'm important, but I don't think I'm more important than another mafia player necessarily. :P
I think I'm nice... except when I'm mafia.
I am definitely "Loud MP".
And... if sucking at mafia counts... then sure, I suck.

I wonder how confusing it would be to us if we called each other OGMP and NMP (New MP), flip flopping between sites?

Maybe since JTM comes out of the FGC (mostly) we can be called O.MP and N.MP there, and OGMP and NewMP here?
