For a moment I thought you had infiltrated my forum with a fake account and played a game there.

Hey, if I'm going to infiltrate your forum on the sly, it won't be with a fake account. I'll just call myself Long Con.Dragon D. Luffy wrote:For a moment I thought you had infiltrated my forum with a fake account and played a game there.
This is outrageous. I can't believe you would allow that. Truthfully, I've never before seen anything so disgraceful! What were you thinking? Does anybody ever pay attention to anything anymore? I mean my God. You should be ashamed.DFaraday wrote:Day 6 - The Beastly Backfire
There is a saying which goes, "The best laid plans of mice and men so often go awry." However, this is an inaccurate saying, as most mice are incapable of planning, and most plans of men that go awry are not the best ones. A very irresponsible man named Aesop was responsible for this and many other befuddling aphorisms (two words here meaning "confusing phrases"), sayings which continue to mislead young minds even to this day.
The best laid plans of the beachgoers so often went awry that they decided that the best course of action was to stop planning altogether. They decided to spend the day constructing a wheel containing the names of all the surviving beachgoers, then to spin it at random to decide whom to kill. Round, round, round, round, and round it went, finally landing on Quin. They circled him slowly, eyeing his frame with a vicious intensity. Ever so slowly the circle closed in around poor Quin, the bloodlust in the air truly and frighteningly palpable.
Suddenly, there was a loud crash behind them, and the group saw that Dom and Sig had pushed a bookcase on top of LC, crushing him.
LC has been lynched. He was Olivia Caliban, and a member of the Village of Fowl Devotees.
It is now Night 6. You have 24 hours to send in your PMs.

Aesop never said that. Robert Burns did.
I know that Roman, he is super fun to troll and mess with.Golden wrote:We played in the mafia champs finale together. A better theory is that Sorsha knew she'd be blocked by either the VFD or Poe or both. So she shot herself. I guess.sig wrote:![]()

lol I'm officially lost.
Also prepare for a VFD revenge onslaught agaisnt me this phase, since I took out on of their own.
Now I can only guess we have two blockers in play, the mafia and VFD.
My hypothesis could be that the last player alive on the Troupe was Sorsha who blocked her own kill, but that seems a little bit to reachy. Plus I'd need to look at and see the rules on actions and kills. Since why kill Sorsha? that makes very little sense.
Yeah, I agree. With VFD and potentially Poe out there, she could be confident of being blocked.Jackofhearts2005 wrote:A better theory is that Sorsha knew she'd be blocked by either the VFD or Poe or both. So she shot herself. I guess.sig wrote:![]()

There's no reason for any of the other potential scummers to shoot at Sorsha on purpose.

That said, I don't know who you guys think Dom is so that throws off a lot of my spreadsheeting.

No, I'm very confident that there's 2 baddies left.

You are completely wrong about everything.
Although it is possible there could be two baddies left lol.
But sig is not one of them, in any world, on any planet. I trust him as much as I trust Jack, and for essentially the same reasons.
My understanding is game ends, and cult loses if they have not at any point had 50% or more of the people. But if cult gets to 50%, the game continues anyway. Like, the cult meeting their win condition or not meeting it has no bearing on the game ending.Jackofhearts2005 wrote:Are you saying you think the cult outnumbers the town/vfd?Golden wrote:Game would endJackofhearts2005 wrote:So let's say we eliminate the Troupe today.

Or that the game would end and cult just loses.

I've never played with a cult like this. HCRealms cults are almost always considered a "threat to the town" and all threats (mafias, skers, cults) must be eliminated for the town to win.Golden wrote:My understanding is game ends, and cult loses if they have not at any point had 50% or more of the people. Or someone who doesn't agree with you. That happens too, sometimes.Golden wrote:That's fascinating. I had Sunny wrong, then, and I've no idea why they would have killed Epignosis. That suggests someone who isn't paying close attention, or someone very paranoid.
this + the fact that she hasn't even checked in yet.Dragon D. Luffy wrote:On the Sorsha thing though, I'm inclined to believe your and Sig's theory.
I hate how tinfoily it is, though. It is a huge gambit by Sorsha if it is true. But I don't see any reason for Olaf to kill the one person we are all determined to lynch, WIFOM or otherwise.
