Seriously, great game folks. Obviously some of my reads were shite, but that is a testament to the excellent play of the mafia team in this game. Y'all earned it. Even as I attempted to forge a last-minute POE, it ended up almost exactly wrong.

Between Fire Emblem and this game, I am slumping horribly. What can ya do.

Also good game Kyle -- I don't know what you did to win, but you got there so nice.

Nagisa Shiota: His talent for assassination provides him with an extensive skillset. Each night, he may choose between three night actions which bypass all other abilities (excluding Koro-Sensei).
- Use his “clap-stunner” technique to paralyse a player, role blocking them. (Two-shot)
- Hide his presence and bloodlust, protecting himself from unfriendly night actions. (Default ability)
- Discern the expressions and intentions of a player, learning their alignment. (One-shot)

Akira Takaoka: A previous incident with the End Class left Takaoka’s reputation in shambles. He seeks revenge against Nagisa and searches for him each night. If successful, he will janitor-kill him.

Koro-Sensei: Koro-Sensei made a vow to nurture the students of the End Class in the place of another. Koro-Sensei wins if by the time the game ends, all living students have had their abilities unlocked.

Inactives aside, town struggled a lot with simple bad luck. Mainly LC. He almost got lynched Day 1. Everyone he and Kyle targeted was either lynched or killed almost immediately. LC's last four unlock checks were for mafia and indy. He roleblocked Scotty on the night he tried to power him up, in which case I was going to refill his shots.

i had to make sure every living civ had a power by the end of the game, a lot of it was our of my control cus i couldn't really predict what roles were likely to be owned by players who would run off and get themselves killed

I was two away from winning at the start of the last day phase. that's why I was so motivated to get at least one mafia lynched so I'd have time to scoop up the last two at night, I got lucky that pennywise turned out to be one of the roles I needed, otherwise i would have lost.

Nice to win this, it's not my first win as a baddie in this site but it's the first one where I made it to the endgame (in the first one I was lynched on day 2 and was used for bussing). I'm really happy for it because my scum game used to be atrocious until about a a year ago, and since then I've been making an effort to improve it. I'd seen some results in my other home site, but succeeding as scum in the Syndicate was my ultimate test, since civ play here is a level above imo.

Thanks to my teammates for this, you guys were awesome. And for the civs to endure the torture we submitted you for two weeks, lol.

It's awesome. Though you have to get used to the fact he'll say "kill Sig" when the night starts, go to sleep when you are waking up, disappear for the rest of the night and leave you wondering what he was thinking when he told you to do that.

After the first four misses, it's mathematically impossible to win if they're civilians anyway. If they don't vote, we can't control the poll. The mafia have a numbers advantage even when they don't. Everything else was moot.

Man that post I made about your playstyle change was sincere... I really do think you have had a change in playstyle lately and I'm not sure if it's helping you or not. I think you are way less willing to be called out as being wrong than before, and more winning to tunnel. And we noticed that and let you lead the town into oblivion over and over. That Jack lynch was particularly pitiful, I made the most half-assed excuse for voting for Jack anyone has even seen, and you went over it and didnt suspect me because I was agreeing with you.

Maybe you need a break, or maybe you should make a point not to try to be the town leader next game. It might open your senses a little. At least it worked for me last time I was on a bad streak.

No hard feelings, you're still one of my favorite players.

I was baiting you to kill me cus I'm bad at math and I thought my being "killed" would have helped extend the game somehow when in actuality it would have taken away a chance for one of my non activated students to die, and kept the total amount of votes the same as it would have been otherwise.

Playing this way got me an 8-1 record in 2017 and it's sucking in 2018. I think it can work, but any playstyle needs to be molded with the times. The site seems to have caught up with it.

At this point it was process of elimination. We almost went for kyle but then I went "no wait kyle is baiting" and changed to you. Everyone else was somewhat easy to lynch.

Also, late in the game it was clear that nobody should trust me and that it was a cause for suspicion when people still did. Unfortunately though, I couldn't genuinely trust anyone. I have never felt so untrusting of so many players (and that is no criticism since I was horrible in this game). The only person I was sure was a civilian when it ended was wolbre04 -- and he wasn't.
