I'm following the leads of others on Oddmerta. Enough town or near-town reads give Oddmerta support that I have left it alone.

alison and I haven't t/t'ed in a hot second but I think Alison's read on me is the exact opposite of correct. I do a whole lot more censoring when I'm town than when I'm a wolf.

Alison has shielded him hard. He's gotten less strong support from Mac, Nanook, Sloonei, and I think a couple others.

Observation on what you said about Odd earlier. Al has talked about Odd, and is one of his few scum reads.

It's hard to see game solving happening in his decent load of posts. There are reads, or things resembling reads, hurled into the void here and there, but I couldn't begin to piece together progressions or thought processes or cohesive solving. Sometimes his posts feel like they spring out of a random generator.
I do agree that some of the stuff he says comes out of left field. Is having random ideas/thoughts scum motivated though? My biggest gripe with TSP is that some of his posts just feel like words on paper with little to no meaning.
This is a common content about TSP posts as both alignments. The difference is that when he is town he speaks off the top of his head without filter. When he is scum he tries to fake it by machine gunning non sequiturs into the thread. So far I feel like it's the latter.

@BoKnows I'm responding to this idea. I think this analysis is not accurate. However, it will not apply at all in four minutes when I apply a paradigm shift and start wallposting.
However, if you have any previous posts that you wish me to explain (that you think are just like words on paper) then let me know and I will get my translator to translate them

I think it's a bad idea to give a player of the Oddmerta archetype town credit for doing something bad (e.g. making wacky reads). He doesn't strike me as the type to struggle with pretending, or the type to worry about the consequences of pretending.

For the record the read in the thread that's left me scratching my head the most is Sloonei's town read on Michelle. I did not understand it. No one else has offered anything approaching substantial. I'm not taking Michelle out of my personal POE, if we're not gonna chop Michelle okay that's fine. But I really don't think Michelle has played in a way that allows me to pull her from the POE.

It is not a strong read. But I have explained why it exists.
