I have a million questions, there is so much I don't know and didn't understand.Bass_the_Clever wrote:I ccant wait for postgame because I have some questions.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Black Rock wrote:Also, what happened to it when he was lynched? I know. It hurt so much to watch you get annihilated in that game. It brought tears to my eyes.Bass_the_Clever wrote:I needed you in LMS I have no shot against the whores.Metalmarsh89 wrote::PBass_the_Clever wrote:Dont be like that.
I was kidding. I don't blame you. I considered NKing you in LMS afterall.
Your death? Sophies too I guess.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Black Rock wrote:Also, what happened to it when he was lynched? I was so hoping to get it. Instead I had to figure out how I could get a kill.I have no clue.

Indeed... MR was a busy guy, this is why having a co-host is important.Metalmarsh89 wrote:We have 0 tricks. I've had a lonely time on the map. I don't even know if my movements have been received.
Sounds cool with me.Long Con wrote:Indeed... MR was a busy guy, this is why having a co-host is important.Metalmarsh89 wrote:We have 0 tricks. I've had a lonely time on the map. I don't even know if my movements have been received.
I want to talk about the game! I want postgame time now. I don't want to continue the game and have Plunder NK you and then lynch Sophie... it's done.
Well, you win if Plunder and all the other New Rogues are dead... did you say that right?Metalmarsh89 wrote:Unless...
Looking back, I think Sophie and I can actually win if Plunder is dead, but I am unsure.
No, we just have to stop the New Rogues from their killing ways. I've only just thought about this now.Long Con wrote:Well, you win if Plunder and all the other New Rogues are dead... did you say that right?Metalmarsh89 wrote:Unless...

Well, damn, then you won on Night 1... if only Black Rock hadn't figured out how to get the nightkill back. We were desperate, and all the host said was that there was a way. Finally, she figured that Iron Heights must be the way, and she started making her way there.Metalmarsh89 wrote:No, we just have to stop the New Rogues from their killing ways. The only reason it made a difference is BECAUSE of the role-outing, so it really should not have been a factor... right?Mister Rearranger wrote:Rogue Rules

I wonder what would have happened if you and BR had had a full time of BTSC at the Saloon? We would have had to continue with the silver-tongued desperation talk that the last phase of our game consisted of, but that would have been a damn tough one at that time, since you knew what was what, to a degree.timmer wrote:My level of frustration in this game was so high that I got very sloppy with the rules, I fully acknowledge the fail of it all.
Thank you, we have rarely played a game that we are more proud of.timmer wrote:Kudos to the New Rogues. I'm sorry timmer. I was convinced you were lying, and just making things up to stay alive. I knew SVS was an Old Rogue, and so didn't believe a word you said.timmer wrote:Kudos to the New Rogues. Our prevailing theory is that Roxy got a kill from the Golden Glider lynch.Metalmarsh89 wrote:I'm sorry timmer. I was convinced you were lying, and just making things up to stay alive. So did Roxy kill twice, or did Bass borrow a kill from her?
Oh I know. But it was a good argument to try to save him.Turnip Head wrote:I don't think I qualify for the win but I had a lot of fun this game. Something I've wanted to say for a long time is that I never mind controlled MP the day he went crazy. That was all him! I was cracking up!

My goal from Day 1 was to get to Star Labs. That was the first very good decision I made, without it, we would not be where we are today. Llama would be alive, and we would be goners.Metalmarsh89 wrote:I did jackshit on the map. Zero. Nada. I moved, but there was never anything interesting where I moved.
Yup, we killed two of the killers by Day 4.Long Con wrote:Our prevailing theory is that Roxy got a kill from the Golden Glider lynch.Metalmarsh89 wrote:I'm sorry timmer. And oh my God, Roxy died in Star Labs. You guys killed her. You don't even know how crucial that was. Star Labs, guys... I'll wait to tell you the juicy details until after the game is officially ended, but I'll say this: we did play a good game in-thread, but our map-game was equally good, and equally essential to our victory. All in all, I estimate about 15 decisions we made throughout the game were all essential to get to where we are right now, and half of them were taking advantage of the map and what we had found. Who knew Bass had owned a car?

I sent the same movement in 3 days in a row because I never got a response, so I had just assumed that I missed the move deadline or something.Long Con wrote:My goal from Day 1 was to get to Star Labs. I know... I had asked the host, out of curiosity, who would have died that night since the Trickster wasn't supposed to trap someone on odd nights. He said it was TH, and I guess the kill would have been randomly redirected to someone who would die just like poor Spacedaisy. So we can't really predict how it would have affected the outcome. Maybe Pied Piper would have died, maybe Murmur.Metalmarsh89 wrote:We tried to kill him again on Night 7.
Is your body there? MR forgot to mention it to me. I've been there for a couple of days now, hiding behind a hologram that would have absorbed a night kill against me.Turnip Head wrote:I had wanted to play a stronger game in the middle there, but I honestly had no idea what was going on, or who any of the other New Rogues were, if they even had BTSC, and I was slowly being outed by people talking openly about the mind controls, and then both my kills failed, and I sorta threw my hands in the air :P I had a fun time though. On the map I mostly hung out at Granite Peak hoping somebody would show up.
Actually I think I died in the square right beside it. Did you get my message?Long Con wrote:Is your body there? MR forgot to mention it to me. Agreed! Instead of trying to prevent role-hinting and claiming, I think hosts should just add elements to the game to foil such things. Baddies with a dead role check, Seemers, role-checker-trickers, role-checks that can give false info, etc.timmer wrote:This game was probably the most complicated I've ever played, with the number of items/secrets/location secrets easily greater than anything I've ever seen. While I know MR had some time issues and there were some problems, I still give him props for trying such an ambitious, massive concept of a game! This was difficult to play but very invigorating, and in the end, a reminder that proper play can be done even in the face of near-blatant info dumping!
