Me either. I actually think it is just taking the town core consensus, repackaging it, and feeding it back to them. It is the kind of "strong read" that no matter how JPIC flips he can either join in the celebration or share in the blaming JPIC and commiserate with the clique about how it's all JPIC's fault they got it wrong. This emotional bonding is what they interpret as "being towny."

I recall his gameplay being towny day 1, and wouldn't have the slightest suspicion if it wasn't for that vote tbh.
I want to flip JPIC too but mech knowledge on the 2nd scummiest person in the game > blindly flipping the 1st scummiest person in the game. Plus we're flipping JPIC the day after anyway so.

I don't think Mac falsely claims mech justification in this position unless he really does have some. He's not enough of a troll to blatantly lie as town when he could just argue his way into having his preferred exe. He has clout and it's not like people are lining up to defend sprityo or Tim.

Now, somewhere down the line if someone at end game bothers to ISO me these conversations will be useful. A lot of them will have been proven right or wrong by flips by then, but the ones that haven't will be relevant.
While I agree that a lot has happened since and also agree that Mac is almost certainly town here, I find it refreshing that Wilgy is acknowledging that Mac had a wolfy EoD; probably the worst after mine. But, y'know, he had "towned it up" so he was towncore and when I pointed out his bad EoD I got the "attack on one is an attack on all" treatment.
