A return to open or semi-open no claim setups might be welcome as well, traditional syndicate hosts take note.

Maybe we'll open a fifth game type that is exclusively mountainous and hosts only provide flavor.
They already fit as heists, so it's a matter of demand. Something to ~*ponder*~

Anyway y'all should hold your heads high. Nanook was always going to win this game because human decision making is essentially deterministic and none of you has free will.

I don't get the complaints tbh. I, at least, signed up knowing full well the post limitations and the 'role madness' nature of a closed setup. The OP warns against relying on claims anyway.
Regardless, it's more proof that 'mountainous' (awful term) is GOAT.

Mafia win condition was to reach parity with the town—meaning you didn’t count for parity purposes, so the game was over when f3 was reached with you alive.

i mean, he was also lock town because he played really well, not just because of his role. the role helped but that wasn’t all of it!

yea, i think hosts who put bussing roles in the game underestimate just how hard it is for a village to pull the trigger on that. they really aren’t fun to play with and i think are unreasonably difficult to solve for tbh. even without that though, nanook played well. i think a less capable player probably still diesel some point even with that role

Would be interesting to see a less capable player take on the ultimate role. Too easy for someone of Nanook's caliber though.

this one was nothing compared to anni
a player in that game was a hellbussing mafia gladiator that thunderdomed ppl in the thread and then if they bussed one of their teammates by gladiating them they got an extra strongman kill that night
imagine trying to solve for THAT. that was me in anni endgame

Whoa whoa whoa, flag on the play! You don't get to complain that your teammates died when you killed two of them. Also, you didn't have a good role, you had three and a half good roles.
That said, you played amazingly as always, I don't think you are ever easy to pick out as scum.
By the way, what roles did all those dead guys have? Also who was radishes trying to kill on night one?

The plan was for two of those teammates to die, not all three!
Radishes carried the kill to...I actually don’t remember and can’t find the chat (TonyStarkPrime ?), I want to say it was to benson maybe but idk for sure. It would be hilarious if it was meant for tutu.
Radishes carried the kill cause my role was a roleblocker with N0 decisions to make it a full jailkeeper, so I figured there probably wasn’t another active blocking thing in the game, making radishes the natural choice imo in case of watchers/trackers/PGO.
IIRC KZA had a thing that let him post as much as he wanted (or maybe it was double, I don’t remember)....radishes could make a neighborhood with someone each day...and colonialbob could check a players school of philosophy each night, and once per game could choose to make an effect happen to a school of his choice. The effect he chose was to steal their votes.
So our initial plan after KZA went MIA was for me to bus KZA, radishes to have a terrible reaction (the first two parts weren’t actually explicitly planned, just myself and radishes playing off each other), then bob would shoot radishes the next day to exit the POE. Overnight bob said he’d have to replace out, so the plan changed to radishes shooting bob to exit the POE (this was our first mistake btw, I should’ve guessed there would be town KP based on the day vig ability and having a block/JK). Then radishes got vigged and bob got red checked, so that left me to shoot bob and try to carry from there.
