So you say you've been set up? That Mafia spent a night phase- Soneji's only real night phase to use his power- to give you a protective vest, and you're good? That's like taking antibiotics for bronchitis when I sprain my knee. What a 'Long Con' that would be.
Golden, if Soneji gave you the vest on night 2 then who gave Sloonei the gun on night 2? Am I just confused about the night 2 actions?
I don't know. I just know what I got.

I will also be voting Golden today, but will keep discussion open until we get close enough to EoD to hammer.

That being said, should we follow Golden's directions if we think him bad?

Oh, and LC has all but confessed. So..could it be this easy?

Golden, who's bad?
Long Con and at least one other person. I still think quite probably Quin. It also strikes me that Soneji and Quin were both sitting on Long Con near the end of yesterday, so it wouldn't surprise me if all three of yesterday's candidates were bad but LC is the one they are least worried about seeing dead.

Beyond that, who knows. Not juliets, not Jay, not MP. I still think probably not dizzy.

What does the protecting vest give you? Exclusively immunity to a gun shot? Lynch immunity? Or do you not know?

Why do you think Soneji would give you that if you were town?

What doesn't make sense in this equation is if you are bad, why say that you received an item on night 2 at all? If Soneji were to get lynched, we would automatically point fingers at you.

Hey JJJ, are we mainly not lynching LC today because he' said probably an even night role and we can save him for the lynch tomorrow? Otherwise he's all but plastered a bullseye on his stomach. And I want to be perfectly sure with Golden.

I don't know. I was just told I had a protective vest. I assumed it came from a townie who wouldn't to give me protection from a nk.

I don't know why soneji would give it to me. Is there any evidence that it protects against the gun? His role did say gun shoots through protection. Maybe he was just having fun with me.

This whole thing feels like a stitch up so people would automatically point fingers at me, to me. Having said that, though, be honest - if you get to lylo with me who are you voting for? I'm now in a position where keeping me alive long term feels untenable.

PS I appreciate all the speculation about whether or not 'dense with golden' information is alignment-indicative but the truth is sometimes I'm dense with information. But in this game it's been a struggle keeping up so if anyone thinks there is information I'm being dense with - just tell me what I'm missing, and that will solve the problem.

I just don't want to see anyone squirming out of the noose after I'm dead. Long Con is obviously bad, which means we don't need to lynch him first. I doube we're approaching LyLo right now. I'm on my phone so someone should tell me how many people are still alive.

Thank you. We started with 21 players. The town roles are fairly stacked. I think the most likely ratios are:

8 vs. 2 vs. 1

or

7 vs. 3 vs. 1

The independent accounts for the "marker", whatever that is.

I figured my best strategy was probably finding people who I could confirm as town. At first (with jay) I went for someone I thought the town might help, but since then I've gone with the top three target (in my opinion) for people who might mess with them.

Also, the reason I was trying to keep this quiet is because with this knowledge my role is more or less useless. Keeping the perception I was a standard watcher could have drawn the kill away from others. But obviously that didn't work.

What's the possibility that Jack did called me out on participation on purpose to shift off the argument because he essentially was strong-arming a claim out of Quin, when most people understood the underlying context of the conversation you two had.

I guess it's possible that he knew I'd have a negative reaction to his post and would distract long enough for people to forget I guess?

Seems like a leap, but I might as well tinfoil, If just to appease Jack's desperate need of Fred based content.
Can you explain what it was you understood?
I got the impression that you were aggravated that Nut died, and your interaction with JJJ implied that you felt she shouldn't have died. I didn't know that you were claiming doctor, but it felt like a protector being upset about not being able to protect their target.

Fred, you probably didn't see this because it was in a longer post but here's my question:

Do you think it's believable that Jack would have not killed Silver Lantern, and argued with teammates not to kill him, because of his community outlook on Lantern's participation? I'm asking you because from what I gather you know Jack the best and come from the same community.
Don't know, Silver being the vig is sticky. I would agree that he would have argued against killing Silver in a normal situation. With him saying he was vig I think that argument gets shot down by the other mafia.

So, I'm not saying he did or didn't argue that Silver shouldn't be killed, but that it wouldn't have mattered because he was overridden or didn't have a better alternative. I certainly don't view Silver's death as proof of his innocence.
Yeah I wasn't focused on the rest of the team when I started thinking about this last night. Thanks.

Do you still see Scotty and Soneji (and maybe Quin, I wasn't sure if your list was in order or not) above Jack on your list of people you think are bad?

linki
Yes...

Quin was about equal at the beginning of today as Jack, the back and forth today means they aren't w/w, just not sure that it doesn't mean T/T. Jack's behavior is familiar, but he has moved ahead of Quin in suspicion for the time being. Still not in my top suspects.

:noble:

You don't say a suspect is 'leaning more town', you say that a suspect is 'the least suspicious'.

You don't say a town read is 'not in my top suspects', you say that a town read is ...a town read.

So which was I, Fredwood?
Uh what...maybe you do, but I don't, seems semantic arguments are your favorite type of arguments?

You weren't a town read but were in a better position then Jack, and you weren't in my top suspects...so you weren't either. I wasn't going to vote for Jack or you unless something placed you in the top tier.
