Interesting point. I'll read through him again really quickly before the poll is over and see if I can spot anything suspicious, but upon first read, I didn't see anything. I'm still most leaning Snow Dog, but I don't feel really great about his chances of being bad.

Well, here's what I noticed about Epig and Elohcin - which I confirmed when I went back and did a reread. They basically had completely parallel thoughts, parallel posts, parallel theories and parallel votes. I realize that couples do begin to think alike over the years, but this was more than that, in my opinion. I also noted some defending, which is playing into my thoughts much less than the other issues. There's a connection there that just doesn't sit well with me.
I will wait a few more minutes to vote, but not many.
Linki & such.

Okay, I quickly went back through Robert's posts, and I think what strikes me more so was the way he responded to He-Man, not his initial theory. I think it was the fact that he failed to say anything regarding actual current happenings in the game that seems of note to me.
This is an interesting thought. I remember being pinged by one post of Elohcin's that I highlighted a while back. Let me check real quick.

He-Man coming after me and not thellama73 smells fishy to me. I was set to vote him, but I'm so uneasy about it. It was almost like he wanted me to vote for him.
Russtifinko wrote:Ugh, so much going on....
*Voting llama* because his vote for DP without responding to my concern about his train of thought pinged me like crazy. I think a number of the other suspicions going around have merit, but for now that was what got me the most.
That bothered me as well. I listed people, yes, but I said I wanted to hear what they had to say. I wanted to spur conversation (and we got that in spades, I think- good grief!).
I'm going to go with you on this, Russ, and vote for thellama73.

I voted for Epignosis. I do think he's pulled a NO U by still focusing on He-Man. I wanted to give him the BOTD, and now he implies something about how He-Man wanted to be voted for. That last post of his smells really fishy to me. Before that, not quite as much, but I can kinda see how it all adds up, ESPECIALLY if you look at both Epignosis and Elohcin. In fact, Elohcin seems much more suspect. She comes in here and says something about how she has no idea who to vote for, which I questioned her, that she had no idea "what the hell" about the Day 0 poll and she voted... ship. I think this makes more sense to me than llama or Snow Dog. Let's hope it's right and that you guys were onto something here.

Hmmm... MoPi voted Epig while he was "going back to check something real quick". That does not give me the warm fuzzies, because there's only 1 mafia team in this game.

I went back to look at all of his in-topic posts and then I looked at Elohcin's.

I was typing up my post literally as I voted, it took me a while, sorry. I was trying to get it posted in time so you'd see it but it took too long; I should have just posted I voted Epig and then clarified thereafter. Why would you not feel good about it anymore? Why do you people keep reading my intentions as sinister?
My vote was between llama and Robert, given the vote count, and I do not currently think llama is bad. I'm willing to put trust in the evaluation on Epig, even though I didn't get it, because of the connection to Elohcin and the review of Epig's posts did make me wonder just a bit that I was giving him too much of a pass.

If Epig comes up civ, I am gonna be looking squarely at llama again.
His play style here is TOTALLY different than in MacG, and if Epig turns up good, then I think Llama was being saved.
Also, Kate has been really busy today, and may be running a bit late~

Everyone was so upset by the loss of Stevie. He was like their very own "Adam."
In the darkness all the miners, items and peaceful mobs had sworn to avenge him. They ran around aimlessly in the dark searching for the mob that had gotten to their beloved Stevie! It was chaos!
I think it was you! Yelled Roxy! No u! Yelled llama! No u! Yelled heman! No u! Yelled snow dog! (Et cetera et cetera ad nauseum)
Cut it out! Said daisy.
In the midst of the confusion they all fell into a scruff punching and fighting each other, it was so dark no one could see what was happening. When they backed away, someone lifted a torch and the dead body of MovingPictures laid limp on the ground, broken armor all around.
I told you not to mine at night. Said Andrew.
MovingPictures has been lynched. He was Full Iron Armor.
You have 23 hours to get in you PMs.

RIP MoPi! For what it's worth, I thought you were good.
As I see it, one of two things happened: the baddies used their switch to save Epi because he is their friend, or they used their switch to frame Epi because he is their enemy. It seems a terrible waste of a great power to do the latter, but it also seems foolish to do the former, because now people are pretty likely to vote Epi again on the next day.
I, like indiglo, did notice Rob and Elohcin parroting each other fairly strongly, and that has me worried, so right now I am looking at those two pretty carefully.

SVS, you think Llama is bad due to some "piling on" issues previously?
I don't really think the frame job theory on Epig holds a lot of water for me. (Simply because now I know for a fact that at least 2 of the voters are not baddies.) However, I suppose some baddies could have gotten it started... so that is something to consider.

"A fact"?
And I think he is bad because of the way he reacted to discussion on more than one occasion, the way he ignored my pointing it out until I brought it up again, and then after basically saying discussion was stupid and annoying, implying there was really nothing to go on for a vote. Nothing to do with "piling on" issues.
He is acting NOTHING like he acted in MacG. Everything he says just says "bad" to me.

@Hosts~ were the roles randomized, cherrypicked, or both?
There is no civ BTS unless I missed something, and I do not know that I see Kate putting a married couple on the same bad team, or if I see that happening randomly (although, tbh, I think there is a better chance of that than of Kate putting them together).

Actually, I think quite the opposite. I think if we lynch Epi (and I am sure we will) and he turns up civ, that the baddies are in the end, not the beginning. But if he turns up bad (and that is very possible) I am guessing the other baddies will be in the scattered voters. Better safe than sorry would be their strategy.

I was also going to point out that in addition to the zombie having a lynch switch, the diamond sword does as well, so it might not have been a save or set up at all, but maybe the sword did it. Then again, the sword also has a lynch stop, I think on a day one that's more likely to be used.

True. What motive would the sword have to switch the lynch anyway? The civs have no BTSC.
