AHHH, I see. Yeah I remember that quote. Contrary to what Alison believes, when I was doing my whole read of the logs, I thought that was actually pretty towny? Like Alison sees that as throwing shade on Tutu, but no I don't think mafia would throw shade so blatantly like that. Seemed like you were quite shocked at what tutu just said. I feel like if anything, the ones who are AVOIDING reading tutu and not throwing shade on her is werewolfy because they know how hard it is to successfully throw enough shade on someone who KNOWS and is SPEWING that they are town (i'm just putting all my eggs on the tutu town basket).Alison wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 11:49 pm you know what, it's clear tutuu isn't going to knock this shit off so I'm just going to end my tolerance early.
readslist
ted w (didn't like his "this is a pre-rand post" opening)
LC w (didn't like him asking if tutuu's post is lie detectable)
chardonnay strong w (was lightly reading w because entrance and "haha you're wrong alison" response felt kinda off tonally - exaggerated strength of read to see reactions, the way they immediately responded by coming up with an obviously bad reason to townread me to try to get me to soften up on them is pretty scummy)
town
tutuu (as mentioned, would be less likely to pull this shit as wolf)
hally v (gut read + paranoia on tutuu seems fine. obviously not out of scum range but like it's page 2 so all reads are tentative by default)
mac v gut read
Alison wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 5:24 amsame reasons I scumread char really. Forced "LAMIST" attitude, weird questions that lead nowhere, weird handling of page 1/2 scumreads ("alison is making a federal case off one line!" after i already explained I was trying out more first post reads this game/"i townread alison for this incredibly weak reason that is trivially easy and common to fake") that makes me think they're more afraid of the early suspicion than they're trying to let on, and 0 attempts at actual solving
name an LC read. You can't.
name a chardonnay read. Well there was that read on tutuu. Oh wait they walked it back. There was that read on alison that makes no sense. That's it. Why are they voting LC? No clue. LC is ignoring them completely.
this was alisons reasoning for her sr on lcAlison wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 5:26 am To be clear I'm not saying no reads = scum. I'm saying when you ask a ton of questions of other people and basically try really hard to look like you're solving and then at the end you don't have anything to show for it that's scummy.
They ask questions of other people about their reads but there's no followthrough. They aren't interested.
"I don't know. I feel like these quotes also show kind of like frustration of being scumread "naked mafia" for no actual reason besides POE and not being in the whole center of the anchor info that Day 1 was centralized around. "
Oh I didn't know Long Con was referring to a role. I thought he was just asking if your frame 1 paragraph meme was NAI or something that we can read into for info. Long Con Can you confirm?
How do you define info? I usually use the term to indicate things like tracker or cop results.1612 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 6:21 pm"I don't know. Oh maybe I'm using the wrong term, maybe more like ancestor info or origin of info? The interaction between Hally, Tutu, Mac, Alison was the snowball that started rolling all the info is what I'm saying and you weren't really involved in it so I guess people scumread you based off POE or the feeling that you weren't a presence in that important convo of the game. You did post late (i think like page 4) and were absent so I'm wondering if people were just POE, NULL scumreading you.
welcome back, i scumread you just fyi as many other people have because of what my ancestor has pointed out and there were no more logs i can read into for you. hopefully, that changes if you are town
Lie Detector is a role that is very rarely used. It used to be a thing that people would come into games with statements like "I am town!" simply to give a possible Lie Detector something easy to check. I didn't actually think there was such a role in this game - it was a joke about tutuu's entrance being like a super-duper Lie Detectable opening.
Info is uhhhh logs? I don't know, I am not referring to like actual roles as info. yeah that's game info, I just meant more about events that have happened that we can look into for info because logs are either ingenuine or genuine. That's what i mean by info.Long Con wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 6:26 pmHow do you define info? Ahhhh yeah okay, well I was under the mindset that you were just asking if that was NAI or not. Now that you were referring to a joke, I see where Alison is getting at but I'm still not convinced because you were obviously joking...Long Con wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 6:29 pmLie Detector is a role that is very rarely used. I like your energy, but your vatchup was mostly NAI comments to me. I don't understand why tutuu is giving you her strongest town read.
yeah a lot of them were just my social commentary, a LOT of them including you and nanook were just my own personal comments that weren't necessarily reads. probably didn't need to add that in, was just typing out loud
I like seeing people try new things. Alison based off last game is a serous poster, so seeing her attempt a more intuitive style would be interesting imo.Long Con wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 1:45 amHow seriously do you take that?chardonnay wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 11:11 pm Im interested to see where Alison's experimental methodology leads.

Hi MacDougall, I actully did manage to break up a T V T as mafia once and got lots of town cred D1. Alas it didnt last and i was on the chopping block D2.
May i ask for a succinct description of your playstyle?
I really hope this point about alison's slot is a joke or something lol

LC's opener was among the least town looking. So I voted to see how he/others would react since I didn't really have any SRs in the players posting in that moment in time.tedxtr wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 5:00 amHow did you come to that assessment?chardonnay wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 12:52 am Ehh, I feel like maybe my first impression paranoia of Tutuu is non-ai for her.
[VOTE: Long Con] aubergine
Also, I don't remember you mentioning LC, can you expound on that?
He puts a vote out on me then later acts like hes really thinking about it. It makes more sense that he sees descides to SR me from the start when he saw Alison, and Mac were ontop of me.

Especially the second quote regarding Alison, I will disagree with her there and say that omgus seemed pretty.... idk so "shameless" and so blatantly honest that it seems town. I do think Chardonnay is a much better vote today compared to Long Con. Might even make him my town read. Oh god do people scum read people for having flip floppy reads on this site.
I'm confused as to why people are taking this LC post at face value when it reads to me as sarcasm (it literally says 'blah blah blah').chardonnay wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 7:24 pmI really hope this point about alison's slot is a joke or something lol
okkkayy, I was kinda getting the vibe last page since some of the back and forth was punctuated jokey stuff that your ead there wasnt very serous. But since you are bringing it up agian I am curious the extent Mac is scum to you?tedxtr wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 9:14 amyou can have your takes, but they're still incorrect
especially because Mac likes to pocket people, and mindmelding is probably the easiest tool to do it

I am reading the game, and so I know that several people have called out your sketchy sheepvote already.I make a habit of asking players who i think I'll struggle to get a read on long term how they approach the game early on. That way i can avoid making a dumb case for one alignment or the other.
Also why did you make these posts questioning my opening posts? I voted you. I feel like if you were reading the game as closely as you were trying to appear to you'd have something to say about that as well.
I don't really get your last point. You don't think scum lies on purpose? Do you think town lies on purpose? What exactly is "lying on purpose"? Is there accidental lying?I really hope this point about alison's slot is a joke or something lol
I cant think of a game where scum lies on purpose about who has posted what in the thread in the early game. Even more so coming from somebody as tidy as Alison
What made my joke less town than other players' jokes?
How can i sheep onto your wagon if im the first person who voted there?Long Con wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 7:39 pmWeird as in robotic and generic.chardonnay wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 7:24 pmI like seeing people try new things. If you haven't already, come talk to me about Ted town read?
I didn't say it was a wagon. I looked back and I rescind the sheep thing. I thought it came after Alison made her case against me, but it's not.chardonnay wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 7:48 pmHow can i sheep onto your wagon if im the first person who voted there?
i honestly don’t remember why i thought ted was town. i think i agreed with some comments he madechardonnay wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 7:56 pmIf you haven't already, come talk to me about Ted town read?
He came in at optimal time to push me as scum. Do you agree?
also talk to me about Tutuu and mac as well if you can.
It sounds like you are afraid to go after the people who are more familiar with how you play :/tutuu wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 2:44 pm Well
Let me try but no promise
I thought LC town for attitude. He joked with everyone and responded appropriately when scumread and i dunno. Same reason i tr mac (except less confident cuz yall scumread lc). I just read LC's posts and i think "iight cool"
I guess cass cuz i dont got anyone left to scumread. And he came in and like "this scumread guty is scummy i guess" and dunno. Maybe he write more stuff and then we see
And chardo like. I guess just dont townread him. A big thing is that i dunno these 2 peeps. I cant rly accurately read someone ive never played with before uknow
looks like Ted's comments about Mac bussing are the foundian of your read.
well tbf there’s hardly any AI content from anyone so it’s a bit hard to have nuanced readschardonnay wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 8:16 pmlooks like Ted's comments about Mac bussing are the foundian of your read.
Was hoping for something more nuanced.
not really sure where your slot goes rn.
