Are we allowed to list players who have claimed and what role they claimed? I don't know if Golden has safeguards. I don't see how it could turn against the Civs to all claim, isn't the worst outcome that we all claim a different Lostie role and then we're back at square 1? Detective work?

My thoughts were that a baddie would want to wait for all the Civs to claim, and then claim the leftover not-in-the-game Lostie identity.

Role claiming isn't going to break anything.

But it might make the Others a little more nervous, wouldn't it, Someone Who Sounds Very Familiar To Me But I Can't Quite Put My Finger On Where I've Heard of Him Before?

That's what it seemed like to me. I want to know all the negative possibilities of all-claiming.

Normally, all-claiming would make it easier for the baddies to pick off who they think have a powerrole(s).

But someone has already claimed a powerrole, so that is less of an issue.

I'm voting for Zebra. I believe Matt's claim and I'd very much prefer that he not die and besides I find myself not trusting a word from Zebra lately.

I am fine with role claiming if you guys make up your mind about it. Tbh I sorta hinted at my role way at the beginning

Claiming a role in itself is not that big. I'm pretty sure I can come up with useful powers for most of the Losties that I can think of, so then it is up to the baddies to figure out what roles Golden actually gave a power. I think that is worth tradeoff with everybody claiming a role.

If we assume that Sorsha's claim is true, that's one power role that actually is useful. Maybe your role is useless.

Typhoony, I really want to believe that you are civ and were saved last night as Sorsha claims, but there are only several characters that I can see as having any relevancy, and would very much prefer you didn't entice people into giving out chocolate like it's free. Chocolate is never free. If it is, it's probably riddled with salmonella.

Now all of this is to say that we believe each other in our claims. It still dumbfounds me that Sorsha came out so early against a little pressure from Epi as a really useful role. Let's say you're Rose. What good is Rose? She isn't. If Golden gave Rose a role or a place in this game, then I would also be dumbfounded. Because Rose is hardly an important character. So if you were to come out and say that you were Rose, what are the chances that the smoke monster would say, "Oh, she needs to die next!"

Nah, I am pleased you have been playing again. You are pretty much always safe from me on night 1. You know I don't play a strategy game like whether it is a small game of a large one.
