He parked it there early in the day and then appears to have been absent after that. I think it was just a placeholder, but I don't see him saying anything about it anywhere.

Oooooh, cool.

I'm most interested in your elaborations on the following reads: Turnip Head, speedchuck, dunya, Jack, nova, and Scotty.

Whenever convenient. Or I can just dig through your ISO in detail later if that'd be easier.

I'm a little annoyed that after all the discussion that was put in today, we Hot-Potatoed someone who could be most easily aligned with a role. But hey, maybe we can turn some juicy stuff out of it. :)

I really hope Spacedaisy is bad, if only because Luna's counterwagon would be more meaningful.

Night 4 MP Rainbow:

Strong town:
Golden

Moderate town:
colonialbob
Scotty

Slight town:
Choutas
Kylemii
Sloonei
Spacedaisy

Very slight town:
Jackofhearts2005
Turnip Head
wolbre04

Very slight mafia:
dunya
Marmot
novaselinenever
Quin
speedchuck

I have to leave, but I'll be back with a vengeance when I have the time. I don't feel comfortable giving anyone stronger than a very slight mafia read because of how out of date and gut-based these reads are. Priority #1 will be ISOing everyone I can, with very slight mafia being the priority and ascending.

Largely GTH style rainbow

MP
Golden

Turnip Head
colonialbob
Marmot
wolbre04
novaselinenever
Choutas

Spacedaisy
Quin

speedchuck
Jackofhearts
dunya
Kylemii
Scotty

What this process revealed to me is that I have a few comfortable town reads but no confident scum reads. The orange players are all there more through me lacking reads on them rather than anything that is outright suspicious to me. I was swayed off of daisy but I'm not sure I'm ready to call her a town read yet. Quin could probably be put in the orange section but I guess I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt due to his late entry and preoccupation hosting elsewhere.

Oranges aren't really in a particular order, and I'm most surprised about Scotty being down there. I should look into those names.

That said, I'm going to have severely limited time to play this upcoming day phase. I have two straight 11-hour work days and then I'm gonna attempt to climb a mountain again on Sunday.

Talk to me about those Scotty and nova reads, when you get the chance, or again -- I could just flip through links or your ISO if easier.

I really ought to head out now though; I have an Excel training to give to the graduate studies department tomorrow, among other things to attend to. Then a Final Exam to give on Saturday and grade. Otherwise, I'll be back at some point tomorrow for a while, and then again late Saturday or Sunday assuming I survive the Night.

I apologize; if you took something personally I am sorry about that. It's mafia, not personal, of course.

Other than that, I think I'm permitted to have whatever opinions I want that are game-relevant. If that upsets you, then again, sorry. I was only stating takes in an aggressive way to generate meaningful content, not to make anyone upset by any means.

This is the most engaged I've seen nova in my (admittedly limited) experience with him. The piece of evidence which has been central to the discussion around him has been Colin's Day 1 vote for luna (RIP) when nova/sig/epi were on the block. colonialbob and Golden had a lengthy conversation about the two sides of this, with cbob arguing that if Colin wanted to save one of those three, he would have voted on a wagon. Golden argued that Colin's fear was over being caught saving a teammate. I lean toward cbob's side.

Scotty is a player I have not paid much attention to out of a general consistent vibe with how he played in the GoC, but I realized today that I've spent almost no time really analyzing his posts in this game. Daisy mentioned in our BTSC last game that Scotty is an actor, and a consistent and believable tone should be taken with a grain of salt with him. There was some talk about him today (Marmot had things to say, but I didn't follow up on them) but it kind of fizzled without gaining traction.

I have marmot as all but townfirmed and will continue to do so.

He was not absent night one and would have fought against the Epi kill. And I don't see why anyone would have strongly fought for it against his wishes. Speaking from experience.

Not only that, but his case on Spacedaisy is strongly town-leaning in my opinion.

This is literally the basis on which Colin was caught; having said that, he disagreed strenuously with my logic. I could see it going either way.

What I would say is not 'this makes nova bad', but rather that the needle moves, because Colin's choice on day one was indiciative of certain patters. This is known baddie behaviour. I've been in that position myself (in day one of Guess Who mafia) and it's extraordinarily uncomfortable when you are faced with that situation and a teammate on the line. On the other hand, with no teammate on the line, the choice is much more odd - there's no reason not to find a legitimate reason to be on a wagon.

Given Luna's flip (and over the last day I felt more like she was town, it just felt like a better choice than daisy), if Colin got caught for his behaviour and nova was also town, colin's slip had no meaning. We just got lucky.

This is more in line with how I read Colin’s vote, especially in light of luna’s flip. He just seemed uncomfortable with the position he was in and picked the easiest target
