Speed was watching the thread a while back I'd think he'dve voted for me by now if he was going to.

so..... there's 6 possibilities here:

1. A. speed is civ and the imprisoner is also civ and wants to protect speed: possible, I think?
1. B. speed is civ and is the imprisoner himself, kind of complicated, would be a way to keep himself from getting lynched I guess?
2. speed is mafia and the imprisoner is civ but thinks speed is civ; also possible
3. speed is civ but the imprisoner is mafia, and wants to silence speed I guess? this one seems like the least likely.
4. A. speed is mafia and the imprisoner is also mafia, removing a vote from his team's repetoir seems like it would be a bad idea at this sort of juncture. I don't think it's this.
4. B. same as 4. A. but it's fake and speed is still capable of posting or voting and plans to vote suddenly at the end of the phase. I don't know if this is the kind of plan speed would do or if it would even be necessary. doing this would accomplish less than not doing it at all would accomplish. plus forgoing using the imprisonment power just to give speed some cover would make no sense since they could just use that on someone else and get an easy majority

or 7. speedchuck has just been trapped in the bathroom this whole time, actually.

so, if the imprisoner role is in the mafia then speedchuck probably isn't mafia. but also if the imprisoner is mafia then the game is probably already over anyways, unless I'm misremembering and imprisoned players can still vote, in which case nevermind I guess

If 1, Speed is claiming a role I said I thought was bad in order to give me pause and independently, the mafia didn’t kill me (as he’d expect) so I’d eat Speedchuck. This is suuuuuper dangerous but it would fit with Speed supposedly hinting some role since you know, this is a role we’re aware of.

If 3, mafia wants me to eat Speedchuck and are hoping my high confidence means I won’t be stopped by the Speedchuck silence. Scum is actively trying to manipulate me specifically.

If 4, it’s a pure wifom bluff. Speed is tapped into me disliking silencing, has said there’s probably nothing he can say to get me off him and is keyed into my honor and shit. I think this is a really good scum play.

But what about....Dizzy?

Dizzy died thinking Speed/TH and voted DH over Kness.

So there was no way to kill off the pressure for either Speed or DH.

Which at least tells me one if not both of them are bad.
