Marmot wasn’t in danger at that point and i always found it weird that he picked LC’s name out of a hat.

LC was supposedly a wagon at some point but i have no recollection of that

What I'm hearing is that fingersplints is consensus POE and nobody can dredge up a single good associative of hers.

In her defense is some mildly townie posts early on. The bar is higher now. That isn't going to cut it.

Marmot answers, "I'm chill with it because I know that the town leaders have good reads and I trust them to catch scum better than me."

Does Marmot say this if his teammates are in, or out of the POE?

I just thought of this in the shower but it's possible that Tony asking me "didn't you whiff on your D1 action?" is fishing for my role. I don't know Fargo but he does and it's possible that there's some character that would make a lot of sense to uncover people's roles, or perhaps even Trooper Wilch's role specifically, on D0. This would make sense if he has a soupkill or similar.

Point of soupkill is to stop people claiming.

The idea is that you have soupkill, it's scary, people freak out and don't claim real roles. No claiming happens, soupkill goes unused, game isn't broken.

I don't think anyone wants her head on a platter we're just deciding who meets the standard to be called town and who is in the POE.

There's a lot of really fucking townie people in this game so the bar is high.

@MacDougall I haven't ISO'd Sloonei yet but I recall that he called Oddmerta "silly town" and then dropped the subject. I think that is a townie way to read Oddmerta because it does not express TMI and it does not attempt to grab towncred for the read. It also mindmelds with me and the times I've seen Sloonei scum I don't think I've seen him try to force a mind meld.

Marmot being scum means that Mac's theory about scum being uncomfortable and tilted with the presence of loud town is correct.

He identified LC and ted as two other people who fit that archetype alongside Marmot. We have already said everything about ted but LC really deserves more scrutiny. He could well be teamed with Marmot as well.

I am just going to clear Esooa due to her reaction to the possibility of multiball until she does something seriously scummy. To be honest by that point it won't be my problem any more because I'll be dead so I'll just clear Esooa for the remainder of my life and she can mock me postgame if I am wrong.

Canucks has a reputation as a forum that is dominated by extremely strong meta reads, to the point that every game is heavily town favored because all the townies find each other too easily. I would like each of these three to offer reads on the other two.

KZA and I are from different mafia eras on CDC. Played I think one or two games together and those were my first couple of games.
