Alright, that answer satisfies me. I think if we live in, say, Michelle/Made/SPF world, you'd be a lot more desperate to get into the towncore and go deep (see: Grasslands where you realized your two partners were POE'd out of the game early and focused all your efforts on getting to endgame). I don't see desperation or panic here wrt to your status in the towncore or lack thereof, which moves you higher in my eyes, since forcing your way into the towncore is your path to victory as mafia.

This suggests that the towncore is mostly watertight, and that mafia are trying their best to crack it, and it doubly clears nutella if so.
