I Voted for LT. She was one of the people who came across as most civie during day one. At least to me she did.

I'm a little pinged by the people making a big deal about the people who haven't voted for themselves but instead voted for others

seems to me with something so obvious, baddies would be afraid to vote for a teammate. Polls like these, 9 times out of 10 baddies pick the safe, unquestionable option because it is safe and cannot be questioned.

With LT getting 4 votes I see no reason why I shouldn't vote for myself. Or MP, then we may get another tie.

Eh, the influx of votes for LT is making me nervous. I couldn't tell you what she's done so far in this game without looking back in the thread, she's just blended in, so I'm a little uneasy that so many have voted for her. Who knows, maybe I'm just oblivious and she's the talk of the town lol. Anyway, because I don't like the votes for LT to bear the shield, I will vote MP since he is closest behind her in the poll, for reasons I highlighted last night.

I think this analysis is probably right. Why would baddies vote for anyone but themselves, except for purposes of confusion and general chaos?

That sort of thinking is what makes voting for oneself a viable and attractive baddie option. "Because X voted for himself he must not have BTSC" or rather "Anybody who does not vote for themselves must have btsc by default"

Completely overlooks those without btsc who just feel like trusting somebody, or in my case just feel like breaking a tie.

Hmmm, I am not sure what to make of the influx of votes for LT. As Kate alluded to, in a recent game on RM, me and two of my baddie teammates voted for myself to win a prize on Day 1 and I did end up winning it. And unfortunately that came back to bite me in the behind because when my two teammates got lynched, all eyes turned to me and I pretty much had no way to defend myself.

So on the one hand, yes, I've seen baddie teams be bold enough to vote for a teammate when a prize is on the table (as I was part of it recently), but on the other hand, it totally backfired on me and got me lynched as a baddie once my teammates got lynched.

Also, that game didn't have the same level of civvie BTSC that this game has. So that adds another problem to deciphering whether all of these votes for LT have goodie or baddie intentions.

This game feels loaded with WIFOM.

At this point, I can't decide if I should just vote for myself, or vote for someone else I think is civvie. Clearly voting for myself won't do any good for me at this point unless a bunch of people decide they trust me and want me to have the shield, so I think I'd prefer to vote for someone else I think is civvie. And I'm not yet sure who I can trust!

All these LT votes are making me a bit nervous. I would guess it's BTSC of some kind, but idk if it's civvie or baddie.

I said I would vote for someone who struck me as particularly civvie, and honestly, llama seems like the most civvie-minded person so far to me. So llamais getting my vote.

Linki with FH: Yeah, I'm honestly leaning on it being civvie BTSC. Because I can't see a baddie team doing that to her unless they're trying to pin something on her. And as you said, it could bite them in the butt later on depending on what happens to her.

This is exactly the quandary that I am in too.

If it is civvie BTSC, which btw it's no btsc on my part, but if it is civvie btsc, hats off to everyone in the thread who is discussing civvie btsc so the baddies have a good idea of who to hit

first it seems to me that with a game as complicated and thought out as this seems to be, amaze first post and race, that to have the possible lynch of a high power player on day 1 would be a bad thing.....so maybe that dsay one no one dies thing was planed as part of the game to counter the first day jitters or random vote getter thing.....idk, just my first thought on it.
Now, i'm voting for myself as I trust no one and civvie btsc to out right save "lt" freaks me out as poor judgement, but idk....this game is way wordy and has too many people i don't know yet ;p

Well at this point a vote for anyone other than MP or LT seems like it would be a wasted vote. I still think I am reading civ MP, so I am willing to tie it up. His flip flop on bf is likely a sign of civ alignment. Baddie MP rarely changes course like that. Just saying.

Bf - Honestly after the ugliness of the thread yesterday I almost quit the game so sorry if you didn't approve of my vote but I did give my reasons. Would you rather I forced myself to vote either you (who I had no suspicion of) or Boomslang who I had not even mentioned or maybe HeMan who I had already said I didn't get the suspicion on him? Perhaps I should have followed your emotion filled vote instead? (Jk)

Daisy - during our last game together in which you and MP were evil teamies together you both stated you have no real experience reading each other b/c you had only played one or two games together and he was bad in one of them? I may not remember exactly but I do remember neither of you had experience in reading each other now you vote for MP based on past game play - idk it just feels illogical.

Timmer - do you have anything to say about your vote yesterday for HeMan. I mean you haven't said much of anything then you come in and and do a drive by vote for HeMan. Not normal civ behavior from you that I would expect. I mean after everything that happened yesterday you have nothing to say which in and of itself is quite odd.

I am voting for the only person I have the smallest amount of trust for.

Someone posted that they thought AnnaDanielle might have voted thinking this was the lynch poll, and that is an interesting thought for sure.

I decided to vote to give the shield to LittleTiger. I read back through her posts and so far I think I'm seeing civvie LT.

I was suspect about were these votes were coming from at first, but I did go back and read them and that changed my vote from MP to LT. You have been really consistent throughout whereas MP seemed pretty aggressive (towards you) from about page 4-8 and then seemed to just change his tone (towards you). I'm just not sure where it came from, you didn't say or do anything suspect to me. Anyway, It was enough to errode my faith in MP a little bit and to push the scales in your favor.

Sorry for being so quiet recently everybody, college searching and visiting is hell...

As for who to take the shield, I personally dont feel myself threatened and therefore have no use for the shield. Dont know how I feel about MP or LT at the moment, i think both are pinging me a bit. I think out of everyone, thellama is sounding like the best choice as of right now. Votes thellama

I sure hope LT is civvie, but I'm leaning towards her being so, so this is a good result. I also think llama getting the shield would be good as well. I was surprised to see more votes for me, but thank you, BF and Daisy. Your reads are correct.

To address AATB and other's concerns, I am aggressive. It's just a part of my playing style that persists in every game I play, provided I have the time to get into it, regardless of my alignment. And I've also insisted I am civvie before in many games, regardless of alignment. I wouldn't point to that as a shining indication of my civvieness; it should instead be my thread behavior.

I apologize for yesterday with my narrow-mindedness. I am still entertaining the possibility of He-Man being a baddie, and I was so enamored with the idea with the lack of another ping that really grabbed me, that I immediately was pinged by LT's response as her being his teammate trying to fan the flames. I no longer believe that to be the case, though, I do entertain the possibility. With no firm result from the lynch yesterday and the fact that people who had not and still CONTINUE to not explain why they jumped on my He-Man case, I am not feeling the most confident in my reads of people at the moment.

I think tomorrow I will be looking really hard at Boomslang, and others should be as well. I'm going to re-evaluate everyone and of course I do not know yet who I will vote, but if I had to vote right now, it'd be for Boomslang. I am not getting warm and fuzzy from him. And 10 bucks says Timmer is his teammate, if he is bad. If he's not bad, then... that's a weird situation which may once again fuck with my reads on people. I also hope that certain people PARTICIPATE MORE. Especially those we haven't heard anything from whatsoever, or those who have hardly said anything.

But now, I am out of here. Going to see Meshuggah tonight with Mr. BWT. I am totally stoked! And then it's going to be a weekend filled to the brim with studying because I did decide to take Regulation so it is this coming Wednesday.

Oh, and I do think a good hard look should be made at those who were trying to cast doubt on the rush of votes for LT being a baddie move. I noticed Boomslang and BWT were two who said that. Occam's razor suggests she is a civvie, it should be said. Of course, it could be a long con, and I'm open to that. But I'm not sure it is.

Sorry? Shouldn't we always be wary when there's an unexplained rush of votes for one person? I'm not saying LT is bad, but I don't see how it's at all suspicious to be pinged by people randomly voting for her. And I'm not just saying that because I was one of the ones pinged.

I'm not necessarily saying she is a baddie or has baddie BTSC. In fact, I actually said I felt it's more likely she had civvie BTSC. But I'm judging that based on her general attitude so far in this game, which I may have originally misinterpreted when I called her out as being pingy. That was something I noticed on my re-read just now.

The other thing I noticed is that I am on the fence about He-Man. He could certainly be bad, but I always find he tends to do things in every game I play with him that ping me or throw me off at some point. I guess it's Zany Dex for a reason lol. So at most, he is someone to pay attention to, but I don't have a clear read of him yet and might not for some time.

I voted to give the shield to LT. Of the two with the most votes, I would feel better about her getting it than MP. I don't think MP is bad at this point necessarily, but if someone told me that one of the two of them was a baddie I would be more inclined to think that MP was over LT at this point.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel about it right now. I don't think it's enough to make a final verdict on her (or anyone voting for her for that matter), but some of the semi-random or random votes for her do concern me some.

Alright. MP and I are going with my brother and one of his friends to a concert tonight, so I probably won't be posting any more until tomorrow morning or afternoon. Might check in briefly some tonight on my phone, but that's about it.

I actually don't know how to feel about MP at this point. I think if he was backpedaling a whole bunch, I would find him to be a baddie. But for the most part, he's continued to be aggressive and while he backed off some with He-Man, I think his explanation was more along the lines of "I had too many blinders on" rather than backpedaling.

As LT seems certain to get the shield not sure there is any point in voting. A vote for myself is worthless as is a return vote for Anna. A vote for anyone in fact is now pointless it seems.

Well, there are 6 people left to vote if I have counted correctly. I'm sure there will be a couple of no shows, but you never know....MP could still pull it off. I wouldnt call your vote pointless.

Night 1: An Ancient Grave

The party feared making the wrong decision, but in the end, LittleTiger was elected the first shieldbearer. Many felt relieved at the choice, while a few questioned it. She lifted the object, surprised at how light it was.

A heavy mist came upon the rocky terrain surrounding Grayskull.

“We came here to seek the truth of our identity,” someone in the fog called out to the impassive castle.

“This is pointless,” someone else said.

MovingPictures07 was about to voice his own comment, when a slimy hand strapped itself over his mouth. His muffled cries went unnoticed. He felt a trident sliding up his back, three distinct prongs that could end him at any time- lung, heart, lung- destroyed in one movement.

Out of nowhere, a sudden scuffle ensued about him and his gurgling assailant, and when next Mer-Man could gather his bearings, his clutches were empty.

MovingPictures07 found himself some distance from the group, but relatively unharmed. He appeared to be atop some ancient tomb vaguely resembling Castle Grayskull. Someone in the distant party spied him, and they decided they would make haste to join him.

Meanwhile, blindfaeth had groaned in pain, but those attending him were confident he would recover. Boomslang, on the other hand, had grown worse, and this night, he had taken to vomiting strange fluid and convulsing. His attendants scrambled to aid him, but after some time, they determined that all they could do was make his final hours more comfortable. His breathing grew thin, and his image began to flicker. His mouth, making its final words, turned into a harsh, grinding sound.



Boomslang has been lynched. He was Trap Jaw.

It is now Day 2. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

I couldn't tell you the last time I saw us nab a baddie in a lynch on day 1. Maybe this was the method our host was talking about for ties, its delayed until the night post. Or perhaps has to do with one of the indies with secrets? Anyway, this is cause to re-read the thread a little. I already wanted to review it anyway specifically looking at LT's posts and at the "He-Man is bad" theories that I apparently only glanced over.

Also, I guess I could be wrong, but it looked like MP was the NK target and it failed? Or maybe just all kills/lynches are delayed until the next post?

It seems Mer Man was revealed to us. How come his disguise dropped and no one noticed who he was?

@Snow Dog--Mer-Man likely was the baddie that performed the kill. That is pretty typical for how kills (or failed ones) are written.

Usually, the night post will tell us, in story form, what activities happened during the night phase. Roles are not usually outed though. Think of it as bits of info to add to your notes.

Knowing now that Boomslang was a member of Snake Mountain, I think its safe to say Roxy likely isn't on that team, since if she were, she could have done me in and saved her teammate and none would be the wiser. I also think its likely He-Man is not on Snake Mountain's team, since he tied the lynch. If he were on team Snake Mountain, he would not have risked his teammates life in that manner. Same goes for reptar, even though he didn't post, at the time he voted, I had 5 votes and he tied it up by voting Boomslang.
Obviously, all people voting for boomslang are a little less likely to be on that team, but I've voted for teammates before as a baddie, especially if you don't think they would get the hammer.

That being said, it doesn't exclude any of them from being on the Horde, but thats a different story.

On the flip side I think it also makes FH and rey more likely on Boomslang's team. Rey less so, just because we all knew he was going to vote for me, I wouldn't have expected different, regardless of the timing. But just note that he put me in the lead for the lynch with his vote. Same goes for FH, but I'm less sure of her intentions. I'll say again I think she explained herself well enough, but if it werent for reptar/He-Man I'd be a dead man.
