I'm uninfluenced by intel. The only thing that matters to me is how I feel about the teams.

Right now I feel annoyed at Mexico. I wanted Sweden to be the team to beat Germany. Now Sweden has to beat Korea for revenge.

we're too green to not choke when playing teams like mexico or germany. but if they play badly...maybe.

I support all scandinavian teams in the world cup. Except Denmark against Peru. And I guess Iceland only quasi-counts but I'm all in on Iceland.

I don't really have any confidence anyone can beat Germany, including Mexico.

Belgium are the clear favorites to win tomorrow. Everyone but Buckaroo and nutella predicted a Sweden win, and as for the England game... wolbre was alone in predicting a Tunisia upset, a couple more anticipate draws with the majority expecting England to pull off a win.

Would absolutely be floored if Tunisia manage to win it.

It would be disappointing but in this world cup I wouldn't be floored at anything.

The Hand of God thing isn't that big of deal. Stuff like that just happens in football.

But the entire 1978 world cup was a sham. Argentina even set up the locations of the games so their team would travel a lot less between games than the others.

I find that argument of "new blood" fine and all, but if a team is looking good, then they deserve to win over a shittier performing team tbh. This isn't a charity case.

Besides Spain was the favorite from start to end in 2010 world cup. They were already favorites before even being champions. They are boring.

Only champions I'll consider rooting for is England because they are sort of underdogs after all this time and I lived a year there so I got a soft spot for them, and Uruguay because they are even more underdogs.

I found Portugal and Spain pretty equal in quality. I mean, Spain has wider range of attack, Portugal only has C7 they count on. Portugal had better defence, Spain have shitty defence.

France is hell no. As a Brazilian I have a beef with them. I've watched they eliminate my team more times than anyone else did.

Argentina is not even up for debate.

I fucking hate Germany, especially after stealing the WC from under Messi's nose in 2014 but....they were the better team that day. Even I couldn't argue it. And the game they played against Mexico today was one of the most exciting games so far (almost as exiting than the Portugal x Spain game). Germany are mechanical, and sometimes clumsy, but they aren't boring imo.

Nah like, they are boring in the sense they are the favorites. I actually like watching them play. I don't even hate them for the 7x1 (I hate the Brazil team for it). They redeemed themselves by preventing Argentina from winning on Brazilian soil.

But hell no if I'm gonna root for them to win two consecurtive times. That is boring.
