I don’t care for Nutella’s gameplay. I’ve been slow to say anything because honestly Nutella is an imposing figure in the game, but she is reminding me of the last game I remember playing with her. She went hard after me for faulty logic..really tunneled me, got me lynched as town and she ended up scum and maybe even won?

There's an intangible element to Nutella's solving that feels genuine. I feel I often read games similarly to her so I want to trust this read even if I can't fully articulate it.

The way she's handled me, for example, feels like a townie trying to figure out whether to trust if I'm actually mech clear or not. Like she's not afraid to do a complete u-turn on me, then do it again when she realises she's misunderstood something. Scum would be more likely to agree I'm clear or whatever and focus their efforts elsewhere.

Feels real to me. Definitely not locking it in, but that's not a slot I'd reconsider until something shakes up the game. So far the flips suggest we're more or less on track atm. So nutella remains a strong town lean for me.

Listen I personally prefer games like Bread mafia where no mechanics matter. Though when mechanics are all over the place I feel bad for starting the trend of role claiming that loses the game.

I apologize for blaming you earlier, I didn't mean to blame you as if roleclaiming was a bad thing. I don't think it was, I think the level of claiming we've reached still leaves a reasonable chance for town to win and also cleared a bit of a path forward today. And hey! The vig nailed an Inheritor so it's already produced good results.

You might be on to something.

I think I'd need to reread today to really tell. Although first up on my slate is to look into BoKnows.

I have Mac and nutella viewed as a bit of a dichotomy. Easiest world is that they're both just town. But in the case we're not in the easiest world, and one of them is mafia, I'd been leaning towards it being Mac based on their treatment of each other. Nutella's read of Mac has fluctuated throughout the game, whereas I don't think Mac's read on nutella has done quite the same. Although reading through Mac's iso, he's voiced some concern that nutella is just sheeping his reads.

That does have me leaning the other way.

wolves already are on top of such claims because of soup.

if we had such a list it could prevent wasting time voting on peeps all willy nilly and then having to tell peeps oh hey uh so and so claimed.

now if someone wanted to vote someone regardless of them claiming thst is a different thing altogether.

Guillo pushing 112 right now isn't a good look. It seems like the Wolves want their Lost Wolf out of the picture.

I do find that kind of odd, if I was a wolf right now, I'd want the LW alive because it seems to be the case that the LW would contribute to mafia numbers for winning.

On the flipside, it is contributing to baking a "wolf", but not one of the BTSC variety, so I guess I can see some benefit.

it's been like over a year since I played a game with a large group and it being a role madness and it being an open set up and they are apparently mass claiming for 0 reasons.

infact I only have a memory of 1 game that is going similarly to this one.

but I do recall it. and mafia won. so yes I do think it is important for all town to have at the bearest minimum the same info that town is just giving away freely to mafia.

mafia most likely already have a full list and have who and what and recede claims etc.

so me asking isn't scummy.

I agree about the lack working together and general frustration. It’s gotta be because a couple mafia are constantly stirring the pot.

I wish I hadn’t felt like I had to expose my role but I could read the writing on the wall. No one wanted to give me the benefit of the doubt and this whole day would have been wasted on me. People always tunnel on to me in early games. That’s frustrating too
