• Day 13 - DF says Devin or Gumshoe could be bad, but that Devin is more probable.

DREAM/Spacedaisy

• Day 13 - DF says Spacedaisy deserves looking at for playing relatively quiet.
  Day 13 - DF says that Spacedaisy reads as lone civ, but could be a baddie.

fingersplints

• Day 2 - DF says he expects to hear more meaningful content from her.
  Day 5 - DF says fingersplints could be a member of Team Webber because of her late vote in the lynch of sig.
  Day 5 - DF responds to a question from Sloonei asking about fingersplints. DF says he reads slightly bad on her. Since sig was lynched earlier and G-Man was just lynched, would DF throw his only other teammate under the bus so quickly?
  Day 5 - DF corrects his previous statement, suspecting fingersplints for her late vote on sig, not LC (she never voted Long Con anyway). This correction came about 12 hours later, though it was a self-correction.
  Day 9 - DF responds to a statement from fingersplints, answering her question and calling her on her LC vote.
  Day 9 - DF agrees with nijuu's suspicion of fingersplints.
  Day 9 - DF reaffirms his suspicion of fingersplints.
  Day 10 - DF votes for fingersplints. This is the first time in the game he had voted for her.
  Day 11 - DF votes for fingersplints again.
  Day 11 - DF says fingersplints is probably bad for hopping on the nutella wagon.
  Day 11 - DF states he thinks fingersplints is possibly on Team Webber.
  Day 12 - DF votes Neverwhere, then states that fingersplints could possibly be her teammate.

  Day 3 - DF agrees with MM with regards to a case from Golden that using content outside the thread is "not in the spirit of mafia".
  Day 3 - DF responds again to Golden, admitting the case on TGG/G-Man is solid, just malignant.
  Day 3 - DF calls Golden civilian again.
  Day 9 - DF says he does not agree with the theory of a Golden/nijuu baddie team and that he thinks Golden is still civ.
  Day 13 - DF questions Golden for claiming that Sloonei, nijuu, and himself are all civ.

  Day 6 - DF offers a reason to suspect nijuu, for her votes of both Long Con and G-Man. But then he says he reads her as civ for her suspicion of Epig 2.0 (a player DF had no read on at the time).
  Day 7 - DF says he still has nijuu on his suspect list.
  Day 8 - DF says that nijuu has "acquitted herself" of his suspicion.
  Day 8 - DF defends his read of nijuu from SVS.
  Day 9 - DF says he is suspicious of nijuu again because of her vote history.
  Day 9 - DF says he thinks nijuu is civ, and agrees with her arguments about fingersplints.
  Day 9 - DF defends his read of nijuu from SVS's accusation again.
  Day 11 - DF says that nijuu is probably bad for her vote of nutella.
  Day 11 - DF states he thinks nijuu is possibly on Team Webber.
  Day 12 - DF votes Neverwhere, then states that nijuu could possibly be her teammate.
  Day 13 - DF says if everyone thinks that nijuu is civ, then she must be civ.

Turnip Head/S~V~S

• Day 8 - DF responds to a sharp inquisition from SVS.
  Day 9 - DF addresses SVS's comment about nijuu, asking her for clarification on it.
  Day 9 - DF responds to SVS's accusations over his waffling of nijuu.
  Day 9 - DF responds to another interrogation from SVS, explaining that fingersplints and nutella were his top baddie reads.
  Day 13 - DF says SVS deserves looking at for playing relatively quiet. But then he backs off, saying that he hasn't thought much about her.
  Day 13 - DF says SVS is a mystery to read, but could be a baddie.
  Day 14 - DF asks SVS to explain her read of MM.
  Day 14 - DF responds to a question from SVS, but also questions a relationship between her and MM.

My own personal thoughts on the above interactions.

Devin - See Gumshoe.

Spacedaisy - Though Spacedaisy replaced in on Day 10, DF did not have anything to say about her until Day 13. There is a chance she is his teammate.

fingersplints - DF pursued fingersplints the whole game, and pursued her even harder after G-Man was lynched. I think there is not a chance that fingersplints is a teammate of DF. He was far too consistent with his read of her the whole game to be a legitimate bussing strategy.

Golden - DF called Golden civ pretty much daily. But that all changed when I asked the question "Why is Golden still alive?" DF jumped on it, and began reading Golden as a possible baddie with no reason to back it up. I can comfortable say that Golden is not on Team Webber.

Gumshoe - Ok, here is the interesting relationship, and the WIFOM of the game. DF says he thinks there is a chance that one of Gumshoe or Devin is on Team Webber. He calls Devin as being the possible baddie of the group, but then he votes for Gumshoe the day he is lynched. Are either of them on Team Webber? If so, which one? I believe that it is Gumshoe. DF voted for Gumshoe when he knew he was going down, so I think he did it as a distancing technique. He was drawing heat when he mentioned Devin's name earlier, but not with nearly the intensity.

Metalmarsh89 - Sorry, I'm not making a case on myself.

nijuukyugou - This one was fun to read through. Like clockwork, DF's read on nijuu changed every single day it seemed. I count 7 (seven) read changes on nijuu, going back and forth from civ to mafia. During my reading, I felt the DF was just going with the flow on these reads, suspecting nijuu when she was gaining heat from players, and backing off when attention shifted elsewhere, or he read a defense from her. Based on this, I believe nijuu is not DF's teammate.

SVS - By the looks of things, SVS went after DF, asking him to explain himself all the time. I think that SVS has been an avid pursuer of DF, and that she is not a teammate of his.



Addendum: I would rank the possible suspects of teammates of DF in this order: Gumshoe, Spacedaisy, Devin.

Considering the BR never did mention DREAM or Devin, I don't see either of them being a teammate of Black Rock. I'm still excluding nijuu from the list for reasons, even though she is an active player but BR never talked to/about her. That leaves Gumshoe, TH/SVS, and fingersplints.

Not sure I understand why you're excluding DREAM and Devin here. Why would a player have to mention another player for them to possibly be associated with one another? Also, wasn't BR a corrupted townie? At what point was she corrupted, and what can we assume was the nature of that corruption?

Gumshoe --- Gumshoe and BR interacted a few times during Day 0/Day 1 during her guaranteed civilian phase. But she never did talk to him again, nor did she ever acknowledge that he had disappeared. Their interactions were not meaningful in that either one suspected the other, so it could be reasonable to assume that she just forgot about him. That said, I'd say there's a slightly stronger chance that Gumshoe is Wildhorn over Devin.

TH/SVS --- with the way BR continued to dog TH, I think she was looking for someone to frame, and an excuse to suspect him. I think SVS is not Team Wildhorn as a result of this.

fingersplints --- If we don't actually lynch an inactive today, I think BR's interactions with fingersplints are most suspicious. I haven't looked at fingersplints' side of the relationship yet, but BR's only comments with her involved lightheartedness, friendliness, and sarcasm. I find these interactions far more significant than the lack of interaction with nijuukyugou.

You describe BR's interactions with splints as "suspicious" and "significant", but I'm not really seeing reasons why you feel this way. Sure, they could have been lighthearted and friendly, but does that really suggest a partnership between the two?

I was hoping to get more input from other players though. I'm kinda bummed that nobody has responded to any of my analyses that I've posted. I'm willing to bet that Golden is silenced since he's voted already, but I know you and SVS are not, and I'd bet Spacedaisy and nijuukyugou are not either.

A couple things to note. Nobody was silenced Night 8 for the Day 9 period. According to my theory about Team Wildhorn, they did not send the kill that night either as no one was nightkilled that night. I still think I am correct in that they control the silencing, and I think the lack of a player being silenced is meaningful since they were both missed on the same night.

Also, no one was silenced Night 12 for Day 13. Jay was nightkilled on Night 12. I bet Jay was silenced in addition to being nightkilled, just to be safe.

That's a good point; Phantom is killing, so they are paying attention. Dom does not post story for flavor. If the post says "Phantom killed Player X" then Phantom killed player X, not Cats or whatever other member of Team Weber.

I did a quick lookback of DFaraday. He posted during every single odd night phase, every night that Team Weber killed on. So it is not necessary that the last teammate of his is an active.

Anyway, I'm keeping my vote on fingersplints. I've brought plenty of evidence forward to indicate that the silencer works for Team Wildhorn. Also, fingersplints was not silenced once throughout this whole game.

Fingersplints did post once during the Night 8 phase (the night Wildhorn possibly missed the kill and no one was silenced). But this was her post, which came at Sat Jul 11, 2015 9:36 am. (EST)

Where is splints? Why has she been so quiet? Add her to my suspect list. Dfaraday too. I need to do some really good examining.

Just because. I don't want to use RL as an excuse so much. It is what it is. If you suspect me for my quietness so be it, but keep in mind I have gone pretty quiet everywhere. I haven't even gotten a chance to go ask Sloonei questions in the interrogation room.

on Day 2 as splints was still working to acclimate herself with the game, she selected Cobalt as the more suspicious party in the Cobalt/LC dynamic. i am not inclined to lambaste her for this primarily because she might not have been wrong about Cobalt. however, it still does stand as a soft defense of LC and if that becomes a trend it'll be more troubling.

The thing about the LC/Cobalt drama was that it started from another game, and it involved me too. (I can reiterate what happened again, but I am pretty sure it's been said many times so) What stood out most to me about that at the time was that Cobalt had said it started as a joke suspicion that progressed into an actual suspicion. The whole thing felt very attacky. I can't be the only one who felt really uncomfortable there.

Also, for the record. I have been mafia with LC a couple times. If we were teammates, he wouldn't have wanted me to defend him. That is the opposite of how he plays. In the game we played on JTM (the one where Cobalt defended him all game and I went after him) LC had this to say in his mafia chat: (I'm posting both the link and quote because you might have to be added to that area to see it.)

I'm totally up for planning my own sacrifice from the beginning with someone. Like, set up an adversarial relationship and eventually I "slip up" and get lynched. Maybe two teammate could come after me. *shrug* Unless you guys don't dig that kind of play.

I think it's really because we are in a bit of a holding pattern. We need a lynch or two to get some info and get us moving again.

splints, could you explain why you were willing to delay your Bass case at this point and pursue a sig lynch instead? i don't think it's a bad look for you, but i'd like to be clearer on your thought process.

Sure. I had been suspicious of bass for longer, but the case on Sig was stronger. Bass wasn't around, and I wanted to give him more chance to respond since that may have alleviated some of my suspicion of him. (Which I still don't think he ever did) Also, a lot of my suspicion of him had to do with my theory that he was on team Wildhorn, and I was a bit paranoid I was reading him wrong due to the LC/Cobalt situation. Later, I dropped my suspicion of him entirely due to him seeming to survive a kill from a member of that team.

I don't always vote my number 1 suspect, and sometimes I get heat for it. (see Economics - my vote for aether after tunneling on BR all game. Slightly different, but not really. I took the credit you guys gave me that game for playing my role cleverly, but I didn't actually think about the votes around me until just after the vote was cast.)
I just think that sometimes we need some information to get the game going. So I'd rather vote to lynch my number 2 or 3, then throw away another vote trying to get bass to talk more again.

this is probably the most interesting period of splints' post history. on Day 4 when eventually LC was lynched and flipped mafia, splints lent him significant aid in the tally. she didn't speak in his favor, but she tied the vote 5-5 between LC and G-Man. it would seem it was quite plausible at this point for G-Man to be lynched instead. this lends further support to the notion that splints is unlikely to be a member of Team Webber, but it could also tie her more closely with Team Wildhorn. she actually said nothing whatsoever about LC during this phase, and very little about him prior to it. this is something she is going to have to talk about, because it's not a great look.

I will agree that this is not a great look, but it doesn't make me bad either. I don't mind talking about LC if you have more questions after what I said up there ^ I don't think it's likely with the attention he was receiving for days that LC's teammates voted to save him.

I voted bubbles. I know she commented on her playing being off, but I still think it's off because she hasn't been bad before.

somewhat surprising move. earlier in the game when Bubbles had drawn some heat, splints was softly defensive of her. so i am not sure what changed her mind enough to warrant this Day 5 vote. Bubbles was probably a pretty easy target and i am always wary of opportunistic moves like this one might be.

I was defensive of her in the beginning (because I played with her on infjs ), but in the end I couldn't ignore that this wasn't the same civvie game I had seen before. Unfortunately it seems that this wasn't because she was bad, but because she was overwhelmed.
Also, all my other strong suspicions had been lynched, so while I didn't express a lot of suspicion of her, I also hadn't suspected many others still alive at this point. I was running out of time to vote, and didn't want to miss a vote. I clearly made the wrong choice.

Did I get it all? I think I probably missed some other stuff. so let me know what else.

So while she was around Night 8, it could have been one of those instances of getting distracted by something else and never making it back online. The first post reads like someone who plans to respond to something, but since she didn't post again for almost 24 hours, it is possible she also got distracted.

I apologize for being absent the last couple of days, Saturday I was traveling all day, yesterday I jumped right into wedding prep stuff and then last night a storm came through and knocked out my internet, it is still down. I voted splints because of her interactions with Nutella, it has led me to suspect her ad being on team Wildhorn.

Assuming fingersplints is lynched today, what do you all think about tomorrow's lynch? What do you think about DF's relationship with Gumshoe and Devin, and what I brought up about them? Which one do you think has more potential of being DF's teammate?

I agree with SVS though. If fingersplints is lynched and flips civilian, first we must consider that she could be Jekyll and Hyde, but we must also take another look around, and possibly put off inactive-lynching. I think we will have to eventually lynch Devin or Gumshoe, if not both, but not if there is a more evident threat around.

To be blunt, I think DFs teammate is likely an active. It is my experience with Dom that he would be unlikely to say someone is doing the kill who is not sending in the PM, especially when it is a team kill. I find it unlikely that he would allow an active player to always say the inactive is the killer. Having played almost every game he ever hosted all the way back to LP, this is what I think.

So I am thinking we have an active Weber member left, as well as an active Wildhorn. I am hoping you all are right and Splints is one of them, but if she isn't, we are trusting the wrong person.

My spreadsheet said those two had to absolutely be bad (it was all that made sense), but I'm surprised that splints wasn't B & C. I'm betting she was the silencer, though. Good job on getting so far as a team, splints and DF. (And honestly - sig, G-Man, splints, DF - thats a team that sounds like a lot of fun to be on.)

I really do think we have dealt to Jekyll & Hyde - there is no sign that they have been around for a long time. I think bubbles and neverwhere are the likely candidates. So I think we are probably down to just Bonnie & Clyde to get.

Also, Act One is gonna be really really long compared to Act 2. But yay for intermission. I'm going to get a coffee and some snacks, and maybe they are selling the soundtrack somewhere...
