I've explained thunal a lot and I think cat's a hit too (mostly based on mac's case)

Weird I just had a dream about a vacuum cleaner. I was vacuuming up a bunch of spilled crumbs of chocolate cake.

Arguments for me being a wolf:
-I don't have the motivation/solving spark as in other games
-My tone is less emotional and more formal
-I'm not pushing people as hard

I don't see why you get to that I'm a wolf from those. I'm putting as much effort in this game as I can (probably more effort than I can at some points tbh) and I feel badly that it's somehow not showing. I'm moving back to school and I also have a lot of work to do so I'm stressed out and can't focus on this game as much as I can for most games. I'm not super excited right now because my mind isn't on this game, it's on going back to school. My tone being stiff/formal is completely normal for me (as you can see if you skimmed the town games I linked, but I don't think anyone did) and it's unfair to compare turbos to normal games.

Thanks. I know it's not that you don't respect me and I'm not blaming myself for activity, I'm genuinely confused and frustrated that I can't stop being different because my real life circumstances are different and the game circumstances are also different. I'm frustrated that despite my effort I feel like I don't have anything to show for it. I think after I get settled back in school and finish the big assignment I have (I'm moving back Sunday) then I might have more of that spark.

I had a beef with Hyena prior to the roleclaim business, and I don't really regard the claim as clearing him anyway, so let's drag it up:
It starts here. Hyena has been under increasing scrutiny for much of the day, and around this time his play appears to lighten up severely. Notably, this new direction starts up in direct response to my allusion to "pot stirring" as opposed to "solving", but that was something of a misleading dichotomy on my part. Pot stirring is the groundwork for solving, so it's really all one process. But as soon as I said that about myself, Hyena latched onto that term (pot stirring) to justify all of the behavior that had got him into hot water in the first place:
I asked Hyena why he had been "trolling"/"stirring" me earlier and never got a response. I have seen no indication of a particular reason why Hyena has chosen any of his targets or tactics thus far, other than the co-opted use of the "pot stirring" label. And my objection to his use of the term is that it seemed as though he saw my admission of the strategy as license to claim it for himself. Hyena sees Town Leader Sloonei professing a certain strategy for himself and decides to say "Yeah, that's also what I've been doing!"
He addressed my concern here:
... but this does not address my concern at all. This is not what I am talking about. I am not accusing Hyena of doing something they have never done before, and my objection is not to the "pot stirring" approach on Day 1. I am objecting to what I perceive as a shift in Hyena's behavior once the pressure had reached a critical point. This shift in behavior included but was not limited to a sudden adoption of the claim that they "haven't been solving", and instead have been focused on "pot stirring". This claim coincides with a much goofier and more playful Hyena. It feels like a bit of an overcompensation. An attempt at "TWTBAW" as the kids like to say.

And then shortly after comes the roleclaim: If Hyena is mafia, the first attempt to shake off suspicion is failing. The big gun is a roleclaim. That seems to have worked, at least for now. And yet, as Mac has pointed out, this is an ability that has been assigned to a mafia role in the past year on this site, and there is nothing inherently town about it anyway. There is nothing inherently anti-town about it either, but at best I can only regard this role/ability as inconclusive with regards to alignment. And so I am back to reading Hyena on behavior. And on behavior, I do not feel great about Hyena. I think all of the posts I've highlighted here look like a player desperate not to be voted, rather than a player who is trying to make reads. As I mentioned above, the whole "pot stirring" approach is a preliminary stage of solving, and yet Hyena seems to be viewing it as liberation from the need to solve the game. That is something I do not like. I'm gonna go ahead and move my vote back to [VOTE: hyena] aubergine.

Granted, I have not read much of Hyena's posts since the claim. I don't know what he's talked about or done since then. Maybe he's starting showing real hints of solving the game since then. If not, that is what I need to see from Hyena.
At a glance, post-claim Hyena does not seem all that different from pre-game Hyena. This post indicates a handful of reads, but "I could go for Martin" isn't exactly a rousing conclusion. Why Martin? There's a whiff of deconstructed salad here.

I am currently profoundly annoyed with the dead vacuum cleaner and trying to decide if it is worth going out to acquire the unique tooling needed to split the case, or whether it would be better to just tell my gf it is irrevocably dead and she needs to just get a new one.

@Sloonei just want to say I've read your big ol' Hyena post. I see your view on it. His approach to defending himself seems more about deflecting your accusations rather than answering them. The role claim came pretty early in the phase.

I can't say I've had anything but pure null feelings on Hyena, but I think you have a case worth considering.

I have played one game with cat, and I hard forgotten about it until being reminded because I lead a mischop against him on Day 1. That is my biggest reservation. Cat is an unfamiliar face in a sea of faces I know.

I forget why we voted for him in the Christmas game.

last night I pulled up their iso from the 8ball game where they were mafia, and felt it bears a lot of similarity to their posts in this game, would recommend you take a look if you have the chance

I'm feeling that "too easy" thing that I swore not to give in to. Day one mischop in Christmas...I don't know who they were in Simpsons (and yes I have probably already been told once) but there were a couple of really easy mischops town just gave us in that game...

Tell me...in the 8ball game where they were mafia did they just get hard sussed and off to the chop...because that is starting to look like their town tell.

Here to wait for my death. Not to solve me, atleast judging from the last few pages. You will wait for D2 and then blame it on inactivity or something. A bunch of people prodding at others to avoid backlash later probably. It took one post to look at Thunal/dyachei interaction that dyachei is completely ignoring Thunal right now to push them . Nutella is being helpful and actually doing stuff. I'm not sure why you are trying to counterwagon right now when i'm the top wagon.
