Well, lynching the Joker ain't too bad guys. FWIW I don't think a Joker role can be pro-town for too long.

I don't understand your posts MM. Can you explain? Your last one said ho!!!!! I'm temmie (I left the capitalization out). I don't know who temmie is. It's nighttime so I don't believe you have been targeted unless I missed something and others were exhibiting their symptoms at night. Also, haven't seen much of you lately. What are your thoughts about the people being discussed?

It is from a video game called Undertale. MacDougall said in his role that He is Metalmarsh, so I was just introducing myself as MacDougall.

Sure! I think that MacDougall is civ. I think that MP is not a civilian. I haven't decided on DH yet, because he always seems meta-less to me.

Thanks MM. I am also reading Mac as civ but with some reservations. I agree with your comment that DH seems "metal less" though i am also reading him as civ. MP falls into my leaning not civ category. I'm just not sure because his posting I think has been affected by his poisoning. Since he should no longer have that sig thing maybe I'll get a better read.

I mean that he said it made him not care about living anymore. Then he went on to post a lot though so I don't know what to believe.

Posting a lot does not necessarily conflict with not caring about living or accepting his fate. I've interpreted MPs posts to mean he gives zero fucks and that can be a liberating feeling. I feel like that case is being framed improperly.

SVS - I do know that Bea can read you quite well, and I believe in a recent btsc (forget which game, help me out here bea), she told me that you can read her really well, too. Soooo I suppose I will back off on her for now. But but but there is something fishy with that post I quoted "I always worry that my....................." :puppy:

Mac - You're correct that it wouldn't make sense that you would be distancing on Day 0 since one of you would have to be the cop that wasn't yet recruited. Hrm.

The only scenario that I can now see bea and Mac on a team is if they are Falcone, and that would mean they were not Nero's teammates.

Btw, I had been trying to get this across, but Golden eloquently put into words what I couldn't...
Golden wrote:2) Yesterday's lynch, his turn around didn't feel entirely genuine to me. My suspicion as to why... Enrique is on team Nero. So, the best option is to bus his own teammate, and get civ cred in the process. Others have already pointed out some posts by Enrique that appear deliberately designed to get cred.
Actually, my theory is that Enrique was convinced...CONVINCED...I had a targeting role (it didn't have to be Batman), so his team figured no matter how I flipped, as long as I had a targeting role, peeps would most certainly eye Nero next. And I had made a big deal about Enrique/Nero in thread, even dared Enrique to vote Nero. People keep saying "Why buss a brand new player teammate on Day 2 of a game where the Mafia only has three members?" If Enrique and team believed Nero was a goner no matter what, then why not buss him? Saves Enrique from having to defend his actions after Nero would eventually be lynched (in his eyes anyway).

Btw, I cleared this with the hosts...

Some of you said during the phase yesterday "Hey MP and Matt, do you really think you're helping the thread with your nonsense?"

Yes, I was helping the thread. If some of you (like juliets, bea, Scotty, even Mac did) had gone along with what I was trying to do, we might've gotten a clue as to a certain inmate's whereabouts. But after being accused of cluttering with nonsense, I didn't want to annoy anyone and get myself lynched, so I didn't say much for the last hours of the phase.

I have been in a position where I knew I was going to die in a game, and it is rather liberating, as TH says, in that you don't have to worry about being careful or showing your hand too early if civ, or about anything, really, if you are bad. Especially as a poisoned person is generally treated like an NK in our setups and roles not revealed.

Linki, she could have been on phone and had a sentence glomped, but I do look forward to her answer to that one, to knowing what she intended on saying and why she did not say it.

Matt I'm not sure what you wanted me to go along with. I didn't see any instruction from you until you said "Follow me" and voted for MP. I think I had already voted by the time you said that because I remember thinking I wished you would have said it earlier. If there is something else you wanted me to do it went right over my head. Possibility 1 - There is a crumb that I overestimated the obviousness of in light of all the fun I was having claiming to be Batman and Alfred.
Possibility 2 - I played that entire thing out to make it seem like there was a crumb to avoid getting lynched, rather than just defending myself. Narrowing my role possibilities down to so few that I'd be riding my luck ridiculously for no reason should any of said roles flip, or other such unfortunate situations occur to make it obvious I am lying.

2 looks fun. But option 1 is the answer.
Or there's no crumb at all, you said it to avoid being lynched, and when we dont' see it it's just too subtle.

Btw Dom, I was having fun with the "db" comment. If I really, truly thought of someone as that, I wouldn't announce it in thread, I would probably just try to avoid that person altogether. That being said, I apologize for saying it anyway and all that jazz. FYI, you probably don't remember this, but on the Lost boards loooooong ago, I believe you were a moderator with a different screenname, and you helped me out somehow when I first joined the boards (and this was before I knew what Mafia was). Anyway always thought you were cool beans since then.

Sorry I didn't say all this the other day but I was more about wanting to quote Shakespeare.

It looked more like a curse of sorts to me. MP made sure to state in every single post that he was suspicious of sig. Even when he forget to include it, he'd immediately follow up with the thought in the next post.

Oh really - thats interesting to know. Was he bad in Flash (I didn't play)? I don't remember if he did in Recruitment - I tend to forget the details of games once they are past.

He was an Independant in Flash (basically a Survivor type role). I remember that game because he had a pretty epic Rainbow Raider meltdown and self-voted at the end of the day to get himself lynched.

I checked, and he didn't ask to be lynched in Recruitment, but he did ask to be replaced to no avail.

I haven't voted yet, I'll give it a try.
Together, SVS and I will devise a plan to save the town. No need to thank us, just doing our jobs. XD

Golden hasn't told us yet whether he's come up with anything.

Linki: That's an old joke
Sarcastic retorts are a traditional scum tell on every Mafia forum I've ever played on. "Backtracking can be" was a comment that revealed Bullzeye was just trying to paint me bad by any means necessary. If he had have said "what's with the overuse of the word thumbtack?" and I said "discussing household fastening objects isn't alignment indicative" he'd have said "oh but repeatedly using the word thumbtack can be *stinkeye*".

I've got plenty of you attacking me already so it's cool of you to pick the player with the most people attacking him for your next attempt to pretend to involve yourself in the game. Your credibility in this game is so shot to bits that you're probably doing me a favour by attacking me tbh.

Unless you're going to bring legitimate alignment indicative cases against me I'm not going to bother replying. What are you trying to do here aside from rile me up? You just trying to get me goat? Give me the collywobbles? Certainly no case making or attempts to solve the game in here.

Golden has been busy and he has said he not really paying attention to the thread. The advent of breadcrumbs seems like a strategy to find once Mac is lynched.

I don't know what Mac is hinting at, but his recent comment along the lines of "I just want to live another night" could be an indication that he is Bane. Could be, but I got nothing to back that up :shrug2:

It wasn't complete nonsense at all. I wouldn't be surprised if player's that noticed aren't pointing at it because they don't want me dead.

No I am a civilian and I'd like to live another night so that I can continue to be a civilian.

So why do you want me lynched? What's your fallacious theory about my alignment?
