I'm not going to search for that Mac. All I need is to believe that you are the kind of player who would pull that sort of shit as a baddie just to laugh about it at end game, and I definitely believe you are.
I don't have time to get into endless discussions with you, even though I would really enjoy those. Best I can do is keep you in people's minds and hope they vote you at the end of the day. Sorry to disappoint my friend.

To be fair, I have done this quite a few times before myself. I have never done it as a Baddie, occasionally done it as an Indy, and usually done it as a Civ.

So I'm not buying the Mac is bad theory from this accusation.

Not really, back in the day at RM, or maybe even LP. I have not seen anyone from our culture (or perhaps I should say *my* culture, you are not really from there) do that in a really long time. I did it in at least one game myself. I want to say RM Mafia or maybe one where I had a sock called Hazle Nutt, lol, Superheroes, I think. Role hints were fairly everyday there, so it was easier to pull that kind of stunt.

Actually, this guy Merlin did it in a game in the Piano. Nutella hosted it, it had a Fairy Tale theme. I was the role checker. Merlin was bad, and I checked him. I did a clumsy case on him, he false role claimed in the last few hours of the day, and *I* got lynched. He was an amazing player.

But yeah, it happened EOD like this. I even role claimed my role (I was a nub) and BR did not believe me, lol. It was maybe my third game.

Linki @ MM he is not form our culture lol. How do you know what he would and would not do?

My experience at RYM is that folks don't leave breadcrumbs about their role. They either roleclaim or don't roleclaim. Pretty black and white.

But Mac's been playing for ages, so I can't speak for the Stone Age games he's played.

Linki: I've played here for a couples years now true, but like many Syndicate members, I played many a game somewhere else beforehand.

Why would dropping breadcrumbs even mean that you're civ? The great thing about role hints is that they can be false...I didn't go back yet to read your posts, but just wanted to point out that having hinted does NOT mean that you are civ. In fact, it isn't proof at all, or even evidence.
MacDougall wrote:I told everyone on RYM I had a literal notebook with documentation of situations and junk that I never had and they took it seriously and thought I was some meta expert. They probably all still think I have it.
A player that used to play around our mafia realm used to keep a rather intense spread sheet with info on every game and every player, including role. In games he was really into, it would include vote history. It almost always included his own targets. I may have a copy of it. But, especially with few of those players still playing, it's not nearly as useful as one might think.

Sarcastic retorts are a traditional scum tell on every Mafia forum I've ever played on. "Backtracking can be" was a comment that revealed Bullzeye was just trying to paint me bad by any means necessary. If he had have said "what's with the overuse of the word thumbtack?" and I said "discussing household fastening objects isn't alignment indicative" he'd have said "oh but repeatedly using the word thumbtack can be *stinkeye*".

I've got plenty of you attacking me already so it's cool of you to pick the player with the most people attacking him for your next attempt to pretend to involve yourself in the game. Your credibility in this game is so shot to bits that you're probably doing me a favour by attacking me tbh.

Unless you're going to bring legitimate alignment indicative cases against me I'm not going to bother replying. What are you trying to do here aside from rile me up? You just trying to get me goat? Give me the collywobbles? Certainly no case making or attempts to solve the game in here.
You don't get to be the arbiter of tells. Something that another player notices as a tell for mafia in general or for a particular player may or may not be the same as what you notice. That doesn't mean that they are wrong or ridiculous or stupid. And even if they aren't considered tells on the many sites you've played on in the 100's of games that you've been in, they might be considered tells in the games we play here and on the related forums to this site. No need to insult the way that others play.

OK, Guys - before I get silenced or cursed or have some other dire fate befall me next Day phase, there's a few things I'd like to put on the record for now.

I'll admit that I'm struggling with so much about this game but there are some things I AM certain of. Sig has been laying the foundation of my lynch since almost the beginning of this game (if you don't believe me, check yourselves) his suspicions of me have become his mantra. He claims (rightly so) to know my game and yet claims that I'm not Town. The thing is, I actually AM so why would he say otherwise? Could he be mistaken? I don't believe that to be the case. I think his frequently stated accusations of me are a deliberate attempt to have me eliminated from this game.

Likewise, I'm very familiar with his game and I don't like what I see. There is NO WAY he is Town. Someone said earlier that they thought his performance this game was 'thorough' and indeed it is - his game is demonstrably more polished and thorough when he's bad (and if you don't believe me, go look at his rather chaotic performance as a Townie in Pikmin Mafia). I am suspicious of his constant questioning of players as to their opinions of other players. I understand that in itself, this is considered to be an accepted tactic in these games but there is something in the tone of those questions here that doesn't sound genuine to me.

Whilst it appears poor Zebs may not have been a Townie after all, I still believe her loyalty was to us and she seemed very insistent on Sig's lynching - and now she's gone...

I also don't like Sig's reaction Day 2 when he was gunning for Matt, seemed to get agitated with Enrique after Enrique's change of heart on Matt, but eventually capitulated with a vote on Magnus (Nerolunar) and then casually returned to his modus operandi of throwing shade at me.

I honestly don't know what to make of this - whether he's Mafia or perhaps more likely a third party but I can't see him being Town. I do know that I get a bad feeling about him and I'd prefer to see him gone this Day phase.
